Top lane
Why Top?
Top lane has two main aspects that most separate it from the other lanes, induvial skill and late game scaling.
[*] Top is often referred to as an island. You will find yourself 1v1 against your lane opponent more often than mid or bot. This allows for your skills in one-on-one fights to shine above everything else.
[*] By the nature of the lane, you will find yourself gaining more experience than everyone else with all of that alone time. Champions like
Nasus can use this to become unstoppable latter on in the game.

Mid Lane
Why Mid?
As one would assume, mid lane is in the middle of the map. This gives you the highest potential to impact other lanes. Mid also features most long range and high mobility champions in the game.
[*] Champions like Qiyana and Katarina are very difficult champions to use but at their full potential can use their high damage to secure many kills around the map.
[*] Mid also features champions like Twisted Fate who can use Destiny to be very mobile throughout the map.

[*] Unique abilities like Thresh’s Dark Passage or Senna’s Absolution opens up these characters for unique strategies when you do not have to be your team’s source of damage.

Bottom
Why Bot?
[*] Bot laners or adc’s, are the characters whose main goal is to do as much damage as possible. They are glass cannons who are paired with a support in the bottom lane so they can safely farm up to do damage.
[*] Playing adc can be hard as you are vulnerable to almost everyone in the game. Maximizing the use of your ranged auto attacks and high damage will allow you to tear through almost anyone but one mistake will leave you staring at a grey screen.
[*] Bot laners or adc’s, are the characters whose main goal is to do as much damage as possible. They are glass cannons who are paired with a support in the bottom lane so they can safely farm up to do damage.

BELLOW ARE SOME CHAMPION SUGGESTIONS TO START YOU OFF IN EACH LANE.
TAHM KENCH
Tahm is a top lane tank that offers a bit of everything that a top laner can need.
Tongue Lash and Abyssal Dive gives him range and cc needed to stick to opponents as a slow champion. Tongue Lash and Grasp of the Undying gives you a lot of healing for a tank while Thick Skin gives you twice the amount of heath as other tanks.
Annie
Annie is regarded as the easiest mid laner in the game. She does a lot of damage in all stages of the game without having any skillshots.
Pyromania gives Annie reliable aoe cc when used with Incinerate or Summon: Tibbers.
Blitzcrank
Blitz is the most rewarding support in the game. His whole gameplay revolves around his
Rocket Grab. If this ability connects with the opponent, it almost always guarantees a kill if the opponent does not have Flash up. Landing Rocket Grab in lane a few times can win you the lane in a few minutes while landing one late game can force a win when fighting for any objective.
Ashe
While not the flashiest character on the list Ashe is a great champion to use when improving at the game. She has no dash movement speed or hard cc outside of
Enchanted Crystal Arrow all of her abilities are very simple, and she is very immobile. Using the slows from [frost shot]] and Volley allows for a lot of kiting when paired with an item like Phantom Dancer.
