About me : Hi, Welcome to my guide this is my first ever guide so I thought I would do it on Akali cause she's my favourite champion and I always see other Akali's complaining when they have bad builds and don't know how play with her. History of Akali

There exists an ancient order originating in the Ionian Isles dedicated to the preservation of balance. Order, chaos, light, darkness - all things must exist in perfect harmony for such is the way of the universe. This order is known as the Kinkou and it employs a triumvirate of shadow warriors to uphold its causes in the world. Akali is one of these shadow warriors, entrusted with the sacred duty of Pruning the Tree - eliminating those who threaten the equilibrium of Valoran. A prodigious martial artist, Akali began training with her mother as soon as she could make a fist. Her mother's discipline was relentless and unforgiving, but predicated on the fundamental principle: "We do that which must be done." When the Kinkou inducted her into the order at the age of fourteen, she could slice a dangling chain with a chop of her hand. There was no question – she would succeed her mother as the Fist of Shadow. She has had to do much in this role which others might find morally questionable, but to her it is in service of her mother's inviolable doctrine. She now works with her fellows Shen and Kennen to enforce the balance of Valoran. This hallowed pursuit has unsurprisingly led the triumvirate to the Fields of Justice.

Let's start off from her passive
Passive : Akali's passive is called Twin Disciplines it is a great passive she's gains spell vamp and probably will save your life so many times it is really useful with Hextech Gunblade which gives you more spell vamp + life steal.

Q Mark of the Assassin : Makes not much damage but after you throw the Kama and make a basic attack or a E it'll make a ton of damage that's why I prefer maxing Q first.

W Twilight Shroud : This spell is your key spell for escape, it makes a smoke screen and while your in the smoke screen you can escape easily because it makes you invisible but it gets countered hard with pink or blue trinket.

E Crescent Slash : This spell is great for poke you can Q for bonus damage than E for the damage than W and run away.

R Shadow Dance : This spell is great in so many ways it's the spell that makes Akali so strong no one can escape this ability you dash 3 times and gives you a dash back after a kill or assist so in a teamfight you can mostly spam your R on their adc'as or other carries for instakills.

Greater Mark of Hybrid Penetration I think it's better than just ap since Akali is hybrid.
Greater Seal of Armor I think it's better than the health one because you'll be taking a ton of basic attacks till 6 and adc's will make less damage.
Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power Well you need some ap damage you don't want to start game with 0 ap and when you reach 18 each one will give you 3 ap so you won't fall behind late game if your feeding.
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power this is just so useful early your damage will be nice and you'll kill people easily

Flash : Very Good | Great for escaping combined with your W if you pushed extremely hard.

Ignite : Very Good | I love ignite so much if you need just little more damage ignite is here and will do the job and kill the enemy most likely.

Barrier : Good | Well it is great if your being poked hard and your low on hp and they tower dive you barrier would save you and might get a kill with it.

Teleport : Good | It's not great but it's useful if you backed and lane pushed to you and, you can teleport for a good gank.

Exhaust : Not Bad | The enemy won't escape anyways because of your R so I don't see a good reason you would be needing it.

Heal : Not Bad | You got spellvamp you won't need it unless your ignited and there's no minions to spellvamp from than it might be useful.

Ghost : Not Bad | You won't be chasing the target much, you'll be dashing but it could be useful for escape if your smokescreen is over and need to run or if your out of dashes and need to swap to chasing.

Cleanse : Not Bad | Honestly this spell could save you Akali only needs a stun and she's dead but of her squishiness.

Clairvoyance : Useless | It's like another blue trinket.

Revive : Useless | Till it's back up the game will be over likely.

Smite : Useless | Akali isn't a jungler and using smite on minions would be a waste of a summoner spell.

Clarity : SUPER USELESS | Akali doesn't have mana -_-...

Akali can farm extremely well with her spamming abilities and she uses energy, so you don't need to worry about blue. Sadly Akali is weak till 6 so you'll have to be under turret till you reach 6, after 6 show them your true power they'll think your extremely weak and push you still than poke them little by little till there atleast half hp and kill them ! Akali pushes waves really fast so you can push it to there tower than Twilight Shroud and Shadow Dance to witches which saves you a lot of time also Akali sometimes becomes hard to last hit with cause of slow attack speed but if you use your skills you should be ok.

Here's some cool tips you can do in the jungle to run away. Twilight Shroud to a jungle creep than Shadow Dance to it and you won't have to waste time going all the way around and you'll get away from enemies easily, also your Twilight Shroud reveals target and gives some vision so don't be afraid to use it on a bush if your out of wards and don't want to face check and die. If the lane is pushed and your running away you can Shadow Dance to them sorry if it's to hard to explain I'll try put up a video of all these tips :)

With Akali you need a lot of team work your job is to kill their adc or ap carry after that the enemy team will be useless don't ever focus a tank with Akali you will always lose your teamfight you need to take down their carries first so they have no damage and your team will have to protect somehow if possible and Akali isn't a champion to start tea fights even if she has dash she is very squishy and dies super fast but kills super fast
