Introduction

Welcome to my guide. I created a guide for my favorite champion Ahri. I won 8 out of 10 matches in solo queue with Ahri. Now I'm platinum because of Ahri. I would like to thank Riot for creating her. When I played Ahri I think she's the best champion for me because she's really fun to play, she has a strong single target burst and mobile champion. She's my first main champion since I play League of Legends until now she's still my main champion.

Cons

- Higher mana cost on Ahri's abilities since she got nerfed at 5.3 patch
- On 5.8 patch her charm no longer interrupts 'Unstoppable' effects (such as Malphite's R - Unstoppable Force, Hecarim's R - Onslaught of Shadows and Vi's R - Assault and Battery)

Summoner Spells

Recommended Summoner Spells:

Flash - Most important summoner spell for Ahri. If you have an ult, it makes you 4 flashes.

Ignite - Very useful summoner spell. Helps your burst to kill.

Other viable Summoner Spells:

Teleport - Replacement forIgnite. If you want to gank in other lane fastly.


Barrier - Also replacement forIgnite. If your playing against strong burst champions such as Syndra, LeBlanc, Veigar, etc.


ghost - If you don't haveflash take ghost as a summoner spell.


Exhaust - Also replacement for ignite. If you are comfortable at this item, take this. But I don't take this spell as an AP mid laner.


Bad/Useless Summoner Spells:

Clairvoyance - Garbage

Clarity - Better buy MP potion or get a blue buff.

Cleanse - Buy aQSS instead.


Heal - You're notLux or Xerath.


Smite - You're not a jungler.

Masteries

Offense: 21
Sorcery 3/4 - Increases cooldown reduction by 3.75%.
Butcher 1/1 - Basic attacks and single target abilities do 2 bonus damage to minions and monsters.
Feast 1/1 - Each time you kill a unit, you regain 3 health and 1 mana.
Expose Weakness 1/1 - Your damaging abilities debuff enemies for 3 seconds, increasing the damage they take from allied champions by 1%.
Mental Force 3/3 - Increases ability power at level 18 by 16.02 (.89 per level).
Executioner 3/3 - Increases damage dealt to champions below 50% by 5%.
Dangerous Game 1/1 - Champion kills and assists restore 5% of your missing health and mana.
Arcane Mastery 1/1 - Increases ability power by 6.
Archmage 3/3 - Increases ability power by 5%.
Arcane Blade 1/1 - Auto attacks also deal bonus magic damage equal to 5% of your ability power.
Devastating Strikes 2/3 - Ignores 4% of the target's armor and magic resistance.
Havoc 1/1 - Increases damage by 3%.

Utility: 9

Phasewalker 1/1 - Reduces the channel time on Recall by 1 second and Enhanced Recall by 0.5 seconds.
Meditation 3/3 - Grants 3 mana regeneration per 5 seconds.
Summoner's Insight 2/3 - Reduces the cool down of summoner spells by 7%.
Strength of Spirit 1/1 - Gain 1 health regeneration per 5 seconds for every 300 maximum mana.
Alchemist 1/1 - Increases the duration of potions and elixirs by 10%.
Culinary Master 1/1 - Your health potions are upgraded into Total Biscuits of Rejuvenation that restore an additional 20 health and 10 mana upon consuming.

Starting Items:
Doran's ring - An important item for AP w/ mana in starting items especially for Ahri.
- 2x HP potion - Gives you health
- Warding Totem - To check if the enemy team will gank to your lane or if your enemy in lane will gank in other lanes.

First Back Items:
2x Doran's ring - Gives you more mana.
Boots of Speed - Makes you faster.
Fiendish Codex - Gives you 30 AP and 10% CDR. An item build forMorellonomicon

Stealth Ward - Put in the bushes, so you can see enemies in the map.
Sweeping Lens - You need to kill ward and invisible units.

Against AD Mid:
Seeker's Armguard - Gives you 20 AP and 30 Armor. Killing a unit grants 0.5 bonus armor and ability power. This bonus stacks up to 30 times. Buy this item against AD mid champions likeZed,Talon etc.

Standard Full Build:
Morellonomicon - SinceDFG removed from the game. This items gives you 80 AP and 20% CDR. It also gives you Griveous Wounds. It is very effective against high regen champions such as Dr. Mundo or Volibear.

Luden's Echo - Gives you 120 AP and 7% MS.At 100 charges, the next spell hit expends all charges to deal 100 (+15% of Ability Power) bonus magic damage to up to 4 targets on hit. It help you for farming and burst enemies.
Rabadon's Deathcap - Gives you 120 AP and increases AP by 30%. Gives you highest AP ratio in the game.
Zhonya's Hourglass - Gives you 120 AP and 50 Armor. It makes you invulnerable and untargetable but unable to take any actions for 2.5 sec. It makes you safe in teamfights. Rush this item if you play againstZed,Karthus or Fizz.

Sorcerer Shoes - Gives you 15 Magic Pen. and +45 MS. Magic Pen. gives you more true damage.
Void Staff - Gives you 70 AP and 35% Magic Penetration. Buy this item if your enemy team building MR.
Oracle Lens - You need this trinket to check if there's a ward or an invisible units.
Elexir of Sorcery - Gives you 40 AP and 15 bonus mana regen and Sorcery for 3 minutes. SORCERY: Damaging a champion or tower deals bonus 25 true damage. This effect has a 5 second cooldown versus champions but no cooldown versus towers.


Situational Items:

Rylai's Crystal Scepter - Another great item for Ahri. It gives you 100 AP and 400 health. The unique passives makes slow the target's movement speed by 35% for 1.5 seconds (15% for multi-target spells, damage over time spells and spells with a cooldown time below 3 seconds). It makes your skill shots easier to land because of this item.
Abbysal Scepter - Another great item for Ahri against heavy AP teams. It gives you 70 AP and 50 MR. It also reduces the Magic Resist of nearby enemy champions by 20. Range: 700. Buy this item if you play against heavy AP burst champions likeLeBlanc, Annie, Veigar, etc.


Athene's Unholy Grail - Good item for Ahri. It gives you 60 AP, 20 CDR, 25 MR. The unique passive it gives you +100% Base Mana Regeneration. UNIQUE Passive: Restores 30% of your maximum Mana on kill or assist. UNIQUE Passive: Mana Font: Restores 2% of missing mana every 5 seconds (Does not stack with Chalice of Harmony). If you want this item it is a replacement forMorellonomicon. This item gives you more mana.

Guardian Angel - Great late game item especially if your team are very close to lose. It gives you 50 Armor and 50 MR. It revives you upon death, restoring 30% of your maximum Health and Mana. (5 min CD.)
Mercury Threads - Good item for Ahri if the enemy team have Strong CCs and against heavy AP team. It gives you 25 MR and 35% tenacity. Tenacity reduces the duration of stuns, slows, taunts, fears, silences, blinds and immobilizes.
Mejai's Soulstealer - If you are overfed and the enemy team is noob, buy this item if you don't die in the game. It gives you 20 AP you gain 8 Ability Power per stack, receiving 2 stacks for a kill or 1 stack for an assist. This effect can stack 20 times; you lose half of your stacks if you die. At 20 stacks, your champion gains 15% Cooldown Reduction. Mejai's Soulstealer starts with 5 stacks. If you play bad, don't buy this item.
Liandry's Torment - It's a good item for Ahri. It gives you 50 AP and 300 Health. It also give +15 Magic Penetration. UNIQUE Passive: Dealing spell damage burns enemies for 6% of their current Health as magic damage over 3 seconds, dealing 1% of their current Health as magic damage every .5 seconds. If their movement is impaired, they take double damage from this effect. 100 max damage per second vs monsters.
Banshee's Veil - Good item for Ahri. It gives you 450 Health, 55 MR and +100% Base Health Regeneration. If you are afraid at CCs buy this item if you want.
Will of the Ancients - Good item for Ahri gives her more sustain. It gives 80 AP, 10% CDR.
Rod of Ages - Makes Ahri tanky It gives 60 Ability Power, 450 Health, 450 Mana. Passive: Your Champion gains 18 Health, 20 Mana, and 2 Ability Power every 1 min. Bonuses cap at +180 Health, +200 Mana and +20 Ability Power. (Not included in stats) UNIQUE Passive: Valor's Reward: On leveling up, restores 150 Health and 200 Mana over 8 seconds. I don't buy this item on Ahri but if you are comfortable on this item it's okay.

Tips & Tricks

If your health is low, charge your passiveEssence Theft until it become 9 charges. If your passiveEssence Theft hit many minions or monsters using yourOrb of Deception it will give you sustain health.

Set up your combo using yourCharm (E) to make other skillshots easier to land then if your charm landed use yourOrb of Deception (Q) and yourFox-Fire (W).

In laning phase, poke your enemy in lane using yourOrb of Deception (W) if your enemy in lane is not behind on minion use yourCharm (E).

If your chasing or catching an enemy use your ultSpirit Rush (R) thenCharm (E) the enemy to walk towards upon you then its's time to use yourOrb of Deception (Q) and yourFox-Fire (w). You can also use your ultimateSpirit Rush (R) for targeting enemies with yourOrb of Deception (Q). HerFox-Fire (W) has a great synergy with her ultSpirit Rush (R)
