Hello All and welcome to my Brand Guide/build. I Play brand This way...feel free to experiment,adjust, and change anything you see. Im here to try to help you out and give you tips on brand.
Pros And cons
-Crowd control abilities.
-Area of Effect Abilities.
-Targeted in Most team fights.
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration: Good to get through magic resist and tear your enemy to shreds all ap nukes need these.
Greater Seal of replenishment:Needed by brand to stay in lane longer and sustain his mana problems.
Greater Glyph of Ability Power Ability power doesnt hurt any AP nuke/carry helps get kills faster and more creep kills.
Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction:Brand has very long CDR for his Pillar of Flame some CDR would be useful.
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power: More ability power. Nice for brand.
I roll a standard 9/0/21 due to the nice magic pene and ability power. But Brand is very mana dependent and CDR dependent just so many better things in utility for Brands style.
I always start with a Doran's Ring good Health mana regeneration and ability power.
I rush Rod of Ages if the game is still early, if its around 20 minutes i dont go for it but all the mana Health and AP at the end is really ncie and sustain damage.
Your going to notice, i dont have 300 ap or something xD well a Rabadon's Deathcap near mid game will change that as you see i myself like to put the survivability first =/
Ever had one of those Oh **** 5 people focusing me? moments? well Zhonya's Hourglass is just perfect Nice AP some defence and its toggle gawd its amazing.
Right now youll have a good 400-500 AP and what better way to finish it off than a extra 80 AP some HP and all your spells slow people that right im talking about Rylai's Crystal Scepter
If your still in the game and youve finished this long expensive build id suggest a Void Staff to pack a extra UMPH into those nasty MR builder's.
Flash- Overall good spell for anyone wheter it be offense or defense, i use it to jump into a tower run out for First blood many times.
Ignite- Amazing for getting first blood, finishing off an enemey along with his pasive Blaze it is truely epic for brand. Most people over look its extreme Healing reduction for When Dr. Mundo pops his Sadism EXTREMELY useful.Or even constant healing champions like Soraka , Vladimir , Warwick or even a Health Potion can make a diffrence.
Can deal with
Teleport- Nice if you feel the need to back or even help a lane.
Clarity- If you don't roll mana regeneration runes this is useful as he is mana hungry.
Ghost- Can replace a good ol'e Flash but i myself find flash better.
Exhaust- Can come in handy to track down that one man but can be used defenively.Id say grab it if nobody on your team has one.
Dont look at these...
Smite-Ive heard of a jungle brand due to his aoes and his DoT passive but id stay away were not jungling you would have looked up a jungle brand guide if so.
Clairvoyance-Let support have it.
Fortify-Let a tank/support grab this.
Cleanse- Really good spell but don't see it for a brand.
In the lane game early on the best way iv'e noticed to get a first blood and win your lane is to Conflagration >>> Sear and Pillar of Flame and then ignite/ Pyroclasm if you have to. Ensures a kill 101% of the time.
Im getting Ganked what do i do?
Well ive notcied i can handle this two ways Conflagration> Sear> Pillar of Flame and Pyroclasm plus Ignite One champion in hopes you kill the other champion as well with ulti. *Note* When getting ganked run to your minions if you get the chance try and stay away from enemy minion defeats purpose of ultimate**
Use Sear> Conflagration> Pillar of Flame> Pyroclasm and ignite as this will maximize your damage output.
Team fight are about the same as a 2v1 gank "Use Sear> Conflagration> Pillar of Flame> Pyroclasm and ignite as this will maximize your damage output."
Focus one guy?
Ever see that guy in their jungle thinking its safe to farm red? while your team is behind you? maybe he has flash and ghost and whatnot but that don't stop you from killing him.When picking a single Enemy off i tend to use Conflagration>> Sear>> Pillar of Flame as he will be stunned and your team can jump on the target. Cluch stuns are the best. =3
For Farming creeps it is pretty simple on brand.
Pillar of Flame aim on all creeps and if possible try to get a champion then Conflagration and Blaze will kill any of the leftovers.
Try last hitting as much as possible too do not burn your mana early on farming creeps, use it to harass in my opinion.
Tell your Team when your gonna gank if ever needed.
Focus Targets don't be spread out.
Stay together Mid-Late game dont be spread out.
Important Side notes: Call MIA- Missing in action. And please...ward the jungle WARDS win Fights. It wins Ranked games and normal. Whenever you back Grab a few wards if you got spare gold.Ecnourage your team to buy wards.
Important note #2: Don't focus the tank. Rammus. Singed, Shen, Alistar
