allthough i'm only 1100 elo, i play draven quite often (a few ranked ones too, didn't go too bad for me) i think that he is actually viable. he can trade quite well and has great chasing and escape-methods b:

Infinity Edge is out of position in my opinion. it gives you no sustain (which is crucial because we don't build warmogs) and even combined with trinity force, you will only have 40% critchance. I'll try it tho and update the guide if it turns out to be better :b

Fratmas is totally overrated. assuming that you get Frozen Mallet instead of triforce, you would have around 2600 HP.

1,5% of 2600 = 39 AD

now what to replace it for?

• Maw of Malmortius: gives you more damage and 400 effective health with its passive, so thats a NO
• Bloodthirster: your only sustain and damage if you go for Frozen Mallet instead of Trinity Force so definitely a NO
• Wit's End: gives you nice defense and attackspeed. possible, but situational
• Frozen Mallet/ Trinity Force: the reason why bruiser-draven works, definitely NO
• Guardian Angel 23 more armor, which is around 10% damage-reduction (if i calculated that correctly, took me a while :b) AND 750 health + 375 mana. i consider the huge amount of effective health to be better than lumpy 40 AD + less tankiness

fratmas is totally useless in this build (i would only consider getting Atma's Impaler on sion tbh)

Hmm...never thought of Draven as a solo top. He's the only champ i've ever gotten that I payed 6600 IP for :P i'll try this out.

decent build, some tankiness as to hold your own at top. Decent BBCoding, Only thing is, it's not viable in ranked so you might flamed for that so at the beginning, just add, this isn't suited for ranked play. Also I didn't see an Infinty Edge in there, try it out. If you get Frozen Mallet, a Fratmas wouldn't be too bad. Btw if you do have an Infinty Edge in there, Great xD

while i don't see how i build "only armor" (only guardian angel + runes + masteries) i dont think that maw of malmortius is a good midgame-pick for draven. mid-game you are not going to be upfront like olaf or any other bruiser, so mages have troubles getting close to (except champs like leblanc, but once leblanc tries to burst you down instead of the real ad carry, shes doing it wrong)

while i think that malmortius is definitly not worth being purchased first, hexdrinker would be quite nice if you face heavy magic damage. otherwise i wouldnt buy it any earlier than i do with this build

I didn't dislike the build but,whit only armor,u are like a ***** too. I know u putted for take a frozen mallet,is realy good for that but,Malmorius at late game? I think not.That item is more good for the 1st item because it's def 400 Magic atack but in late game if a veigar hit u the meteorite can kill u in a instant using or not using the Malmorius.
