Hi ! I'm Twik04 (IG name : Shadowcitron68) and this is my first guide. I'll speak about Ezreal. I played him very much with this build and I consider he is one of the best for the character. Leave comments for feedback, let me know MY pros/cons and i hope you'll enjoy reading this guide ! (And sorry for my VERY bad english)
Let's get right trough it !
Who don't like free, manaless, damageful and long-ranged poke ? Just up Q for giving the ennemy some problems. Up E after because of free escape with low CD. W is useless, no damages, just attack speed buff, so more late game, buffing your team for some quick Nashor and towers. Ult at 6,11,16.
Skill Priority : R>Q>E>W
For french keyboards : R>A>E>Z
Little explanation about those : Cooldown reduction is very nice with early Q poke and your flash. AD and Armor Penetration are obvious I think. Critical strike and attack speed is more for late game, it combines with the passive and in teamfight you'll think about auto-hits, combined with Q. That combo deals tons of damages. With armor pen. and critical strikes, you'll be able to deal with all the possible situations in the fight. For the defense, some armor and hp's for sustain, magic resist for resisting the AP mid spells and more hp's. Why no points into support tree ? Because Ezreal is one of the squishiest champion. You will need some resistance, instead of mana regen. Ezreal don't need lot of mana like other champs such as Corki or Yorick.
Runes
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage
Flat AD quintessences are the bests ones for early game. Poke and harass, even for farming, those quints will make you happy.Greater Mark of Attack Damage
Flat AD Marks for the same reason than the quintessences. More early burst, advantage and poke damages.Greater Seal of Armor
Flat Seal of Armor are nice for resisting early game poking and damages coming from the ennemy AD carry OR the ennemy jungler.Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist
Scaling Magic Resist is nice for teamfights, after your laning is over, it permit to resist more to the burst of the AP Carry.Begin with Doran's Blade for a powerful poke and a bit hp's.
When you reach +2000 golds (with good farming or kills), buy B. F. Sword with a Vampiric Scepter and some Berserker's Greaves.
There is an alternative where you can buy Ionian Boots of Lucidity for more frequents Q (like 3 seconds of CD and 1 second at Q's max rank, just absolutely insane).
If you get more kills/creeps, just continue with Bloodthirster.
After it, Iceborn Gauntlet is a very good choice, for slow in AoE, 150% AD proc on-hit and Armor.
Then, get quickly your Last Whisper because Top laners or even Supports get quickly Armor. This is the most powerful Armor penetration item for ezreal, where the black cleaver is not very done for this type of carry.
After it, just take Infinity Edge for critical strikes and some more damage.
For the last item, just in function of your teamfights. For more defense and for cheating death, Guardian Angel is the best choice. For attack damage and magic resist with a cleanse, just Mercurial Scimitar. For attack damage, lifesteal, more slow with an OP active, Blade of the Ruined King should be your last item.
If you're purple side, pull the blue buff for your jungler, you'll miss 1 creep or 2, this is not very important for you.
If you're blue side, try to take the three-sides bush, because ennemies camp in it for trying first blood.
IF you are the first to take it, you can do a great move if they are not careful. Be aware of Explorer's Ward, it can be surprising.
Then, when you're on your lane, just last-it with auto-hits or Q if the creep is far away from you.
Don't get poked or catch, because you have no potions. Try to poke and kite the ennemy ad carry without being poked in return.
This is psychological pressure, you can touch him, he can't.
If you manage to poke him, jungler will early gank, so don't forget to ward. Two options here : Your jungler is nearby for counter gank, if you do this great, you'll get a kill.
OR, the ennemy jungler is very low life and you can try the 3v2. But again, don't get catch.
Use E and Q, use your Summoner spells and you'll be able to take a free kill.
Don't overextend, or be sure to have vision on the golems + three-sides bush. In 10 minutes, you should have like 90 creeps or more.
Stay away for the engage, launch Q's and then, when ennemies are low-life, just go in with your E, auto-hits and Blade of the Ruined King should get off enemies.
If you took Guardian Angel, you should be protected against counter-engage.
If you took Mercurial Scimitar you can wait for getting CC'd or just use it for move speed buff.
If you are well placed in teamfights, it shouldn't be a problem to take the game, especially against low range AD and AP carries.
