Hello, my name is Rizky Amanatama. I also go by the name Ryusei or Akira online. I play on OCE, and started playing league since season 7. I got bronze in season 7 and in season 8 i played for fun. In season 9 i started playing competitively and got silver. In season 10 for the first time i reach gold. I mainly play mid and toplane and my favorite champions is Irelia. I played Irelia since her first rework release. This is my first every guide and any criticism is highly appreciated.😊

I love Irelia because of her lore and her playstyle. She's so quick and agile can move quickly with her dashes. She has good diving potential, good wave clearing, and snowball very easy due to her first item Blade of the Ruined King is so good with her. Also i love some of her skins :)

CONS - Easily far behind - Requires minions for outplays - Vulnerable to any CC - Require 5 stacks of passive to deal damage

The most important spell in the game

The most important spell when you're playing top. You can use this when you're playing mid as well if you're not confident in lane

Mostly use in midlane for kill pressure. You can use it on toplane as well

Conqueror + Longer teamfights + More healing + More popular because Irelia auto's a lot - Not a good trading runes - Requires 12 stacks for the maximum adaptive and healing

Press The Attack + Good level 3-6 trade for squishy targets - Not last longer in teamfights

Precision

Conqueror is Irelia's main runes this season. Despite a lot of nerf, this rune is still a go to for every matchup. The bonus Adaptive ForceAdaptive and healing can last for longer team fights. Press the Attack is also an alternative rune if you are against squishy champions like Lux, Syndra, or Kassadin. Go Conqueror if you want to last in team fights or go Press the Attack if you want to burst the enemy before they have a chance to burst you.

Triumph is mainly one of the best secondary for Irelia right now. It helps you in a 1v2 or 1v3 situations. You can always take Presence of Mind if you have mana issues. But overall Triumph is a go to.

Legend: Alacrity is a good rune to run if you're not against a heavy CC comp. If yes, taking Legend: Tenacity is a must. You can always go Legend: Bloodline if you want if u need an extra omnivamp for your healing in team fights or lane.

Last Stand is good due to Irelia is either taking risky trades and 5 stacks all in with her passive. Coup de Grace is good if you are running Press the Attack due to the burst damage you need in early game.

Secondary Runes

PASSIVE ABILITY

Ionian Fervor ✦ Irelia gains a stack of Ionian Fervor for every enemy champion hit by her abilities, or if she hits at least one non-champion, stacking up to 5 times. Ionian Fervor lasts for 6 seconds, with basic attacks against enemy champions and large and epic monsters and ability hits refreshing the duration. Ionian Fervor: Irelia gains 8% − 16% (based on level) bonus attack speed per stack, up to 40% − 80% (based on level). At maximum stacks, Irelia's basic attacks deal 15 − 66 (based on level) (+ 25% bonus AD) bonus magic damage on-hit. ✦ This is Irelia's main source of damage. The moment you have 5 stacks, you can start dealing damage to all champions. The stack's resets everytime you auto attack champions or epic jungle monsters.

Bladesurge ✦ PASSIVE: Enemy champions and large and epic monsters hit by Flawless Duet and Vanguard's Edge's initial barrage are marked for 5 seconds. ACTIVE: Irelia dashes 100 units through the target enemy's location, and upon completion, she deals physical damage, applies on-hit effects, and heals herself. Bladesurge deals bonus damage to minions. ✦ This is one of Irelia's source of damage and also to gain stacks. Use Bladesurge to gain Irelia's passive stacks through minions or marks with her Defiant Dance and Vanguard's Edge. When you kill minions , kill champions or hit marks with your Bladesurge, it will immediately reset your Bladesurge's cooldown. You don't have to save your Q for reset marks if you are confident of killing the enemy with your 5 stack passive.

Defiant Dance ✦ ACTIVE: Irelia charges for up to 1.5 seconds, during which she reduces incoming physical damage by 50% (+ 7% per 100 AP) and increases Defiant Dance's damage over the first 0.75 seconds of the channel. Defiant Dance can be recast at any time within its duration, and does so automatically after the charge completes. Defiant Dance cannot be interrupted by crowd control. RECAST: Irelia swipes with her blades in the target direction, retaining Defiant Dance's physical damage reduction for 0.5 seconds after the recast is initiated and dealing physical damage to all enemies around her and in a line, increased by 0% − 100% (based on channel time) ✦ This is one of Irelia's abilities to block all crowd controls. It also decrease tower shot damage so it helps her tower diving solo. Quick note that it only blocks Attack Damage not Ability Power.

Flawless Duet ✦ ACTIVE: Irelia sends a blade to the target location for 3.5 seconds. Flawless Duet can be recast after 0.15 seconds while the blade is active, and does so automatically at the end of its duration, though not if she is channeling Defiant Dance or Teleport. RECAST: Irelia sends a second blade to the target location, or to her current position if Flawless Duet was recast automatically. Once both blades have been placed, they fly toward each other regardless of distance and converge over 0.25 seconds, afterwards dealing magic damage to all enemies within a line between them and stunning them for 0.75 seconds, during which they are revealed. ✦ This is one of the way Irelia marks her enemies. You can use this to engage with her Bladesurge through minions. Quick note, Irelia can recast her second blade when she got cced. So example when Warwick ultimate you, you can recast your second blade to stun him and cancel Warwick's ultimate.

Vanguard's Edge ✦ACTIVE: Irelia launches a barrage of blades in the target direction, expanding outward upon hitting an enemy champion, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit and briefly revealing them. After expanding, the blades drop on the ground, knocking all enemy units away from them, though not rendering them airborne, and forming a spade-shaped perimeter around the enemy champion hit for 2.5 seconds. Enemies that pass through the blades for the first time are dealt magic damage and are slowed by 90% for 1.5 seconds. ✦This is one of Irelia's engage tool with her marks. Once you use Vanguard's Edge you mark all the champions you hit with it. You can combine with Irelia's Flawless Duet for another marks with you Bladesurge to stack up your Ionian Fervor.
