Introduction

Welcome to my first guide on this site, Featuring Jarvan IV, The Exemplar of Demacia.
In this guide I will tell you about my playstyle with Jarvan, and my reasoning for all the things I chose for him in his arsenal of tools. I will also tell you know that this guide is mainly for 3v3 games, but may also work in 5v5's. I have yet to experiment in that field, so expect updates on this fairly frequently. I will also ask that you post absolutely, no hate comments whatsoever. And finally, you can add me, if it pleases you, on League of Legends. I go by th name; blakhart
Enjoy. ^_^

Team Work

Always try to stay with a team mate. The only time you should ever be alone is if you are trying to solo Baron...... which is possible actually, it just takes a bit longer than a fed Tryndamere since you dont have as much crit. chance as he does. Anyway, main point, stay on someone's *** the whole time, whether it be you need them or they need you.the last thing we need is a fail team mate that's just feeding the opponents.
I've also noticed that Jarvan is not the absolute best early game he's good, but not the best, particularly when your team doesn't know your playstyle... or mine if you follow my guide. hehe. Anyway, never take on an opponent alone until you are at least level 4 and have Golden Aegis at level 1. That way you can slow them down if they try to run from you, or give yourself a shield if you feel a bit crowded.... meaning attempted ganks.

Items

Here, I will post what alternatives to go for, and they are as follows:

-Heavy CC opponents Fiddlesticks and Lux : Force of Nature or Banshee's Veil

-Tanky opponents like Cho'Gath and Amumu : Last Whisper or Madred's Bloodrazor

-Vanishing opponents like Evelynn and Twitch : Oracle's ElixerOracle's Elixer and/or Quicksilver Sash

-Dps opponents like Master Yi and Tryndamere : Thornmail or Guardian Angel

Skill Sequence

So as you can see, my main focus is to max out Demacian Standard . I do this for the same reason I base my items on attack speed. Once the flag is maxed out, just flinging it out at an opponent, it alone will do about 260 damage. Combine that with Dragon Strike and knocking enemies upward, that's a good portion of an enemy's health down right there.
After that I just rotate back and forth between the Golden Aegis and Dragon Strike . Sometimes depending on the situation I put more points in either/or, instead of going back and forth.

Summoner Spells

Obviously having Flash and Exhaust sounds a little weird. Well, here's how they work:
You can Exhaust your enemy and smack at them or if they try to 1v1 you, it will make their attacks miss. Oh, did Exhaust run out and are they starting to run? DEMACIAAAAA!!!!! Activate Caytaclysm and lock them down and smack them more. Did your enemy quickly turn the tables after trapping them inside? Flash out of your cage and leave them there so you have time to make your getaway. Or you could just use either of them early game to GTFO of getting your butt kicked.

Summary

Well, there you have it, my build in a nutshell. I cant say it is the absolute best, but it is my own build and it's worked wonders for me. I've won quite a few games, since Jarvan came out, with this build and devastated the fields of justice. I will say now that I do apologize for this guide being quite clumpy, but as I said it is my first guide. I hope that it works for you as much as it has for me. Also I as I said before you can add me on League of Legends by the name of blakhart. And finally one last thing... Enjoy ^_^
