Hey Guys!My name is Tom and this is my first Guide here on Mobafire! I hope you enjoy reading it!

Its for
Jax , the OP Jungle Offtank. In this Guide I'll build him as an AD-Offtank. He is an Anti-Carry, which can be played in many ways.

Pros / Cons
Pros
- Fast clearing due to his passive
- Epic Ganks
- Good Sustain in Jungle due to his
Counter Strike - Can Carry Games hard
- Good Late-game
- On-Hit Gap Closer with his
Leap Strike
Cons
- a bit squishy earlygame
- decent speed , but not the fastest jungler
- sometimes hard to place his stun
- If he completly fails earlygame its hard to carry
So , as you see , in my opinion , there are way more Pros than Cons!
Masteries
I use this setup for fastest jungle speed and max sustain, I just swapped from my old masteries , because I found out that the magic pen and cooldown reduction is way better than 9 ad at 18 and 10% crit dmg since you don't build crit.
You could swap
9/21/0 would work too , but I like the damage more! So masteries are up to you, I prefer these.
As long as your tanky enough to survive or offensive enough to kill the jungle fast , its okay.

Summoner Spells
Viable Summoner Spells
is a MUST HAVE for a jungler! Don't even bother switching these!
2nd Spell is up to you .. It can be any of these:
Good to finish of these Runners ;)
All around a good spell . Escape , gap closing etc etc.
Chase , escape , almost same like flash.
Even harder ganks!
Don't even dare to use any other summoner spells!
Skills Explanation
This is
Jax passive. For every hit, you gain attackspeed for a few second , stacks up to 6. Nice for your Jungling speed.

This Skill is my favourite skill. When you activate it , you dodge every basic attack. Upon a second activation or after a few seconds , it stuns all nearby enemys for a second. Use it before you hit ur Q and activate it right after you jumped on your victim.
This is But that's only the passive.
Upon activation you gain Armor and Magic Res, if you have a lot of AD and AP , you gain even more def, you will be a tanky damagedealer! Pretty nice.
Skill Sequence
Why don't I max Q before E? Well , you can max Q before , but the shorter cooldown on your stun is way better than a bit more damage from your Q.

Grab E on lvl 1 for that dodge and stun to kill all that junglecreeps.
If you want to gank at lvl 2 , grab
Jungle Route
Your Jungle Route is
Wolves ( hit , then press e when he is about to hit you , so you dont take any damage.)
Blue Buff (Same as wolves)
If possible -> GANK
Wraiths
Wolves
Red Buff
Golems
Gank whenever possible.

Situational Items/Other good items
You can swap any item of this guide.
When jungling
Jax , you often want to swap items, sometimes you need to be tankier, sometimes your team needs more damage! NEVER EVER BUILD DIRECTLY ANY BUILD FROM MOBAFIRE! BEFORE BUILDING ANY ITEM, START THINKING IF IT'S REALLY THE BEST CHOICE!
For example , getting
Trinity Force later , and instead get
Frozen Mallet +
Atma's Impaler ealier and then build your triforce..
If you want to be a tankier
Jax] , here are some good items
ARMOR
against heavy AD-Carrys
Personally , I'm not building this often on
Jax , but I guess its okay . Armor + HP + DPS
This Item got everything you need. Always build it after any Hp item.
This item is good if you have a squishy team or you want to help your team
MAGIC RESISTANCE
Nice mres and Hp regen. nothing much to say
Maw of Malmoritus(no pic available?) Well. Nice AD , mres and a nice passive. If you like this item, go get it !
All Around Nice item. HP, Mana, mres and you block a spell each 45 sec.
This is a decent item for
Jax. You get attackspeed, magic resist AND magic damage.
Get this when theres some annoying cc champ like
Malzahar with his ult.
OFFENSIVE ITEMS
Maw of Malmoritus(no pic :( ) this item is offensive and defensive for
Jax, a pretty good choice.
This item is all around good for
Jax. more sustain , more damage and a nice active. I don't think its as good as it was, but it's still a good choice.
ONLY , and really ONLY get this item if your fed. otherwise you are too squishy , there are better choices.
good for early AP and attackspeeed, i like to get this early
Get this if you want to play him mainly AD and the enemys do have around 100 armor , if they have more , get
Last Whisper
Warding with your Lantern

Red: Warding these is REALLY REALLY important. Never let them get a free Dragon or Baron. If it's not warded , go ward with your lantern , or if your fed/you got enough golds , sight wardss are cheap and help you ALOT.
Blue: Ward your jungle if your getting counter jungled a lot (Mostly by strong counter junglers like
Lee Sin ). Ward enemy jungle if you want to counterjungle. (only do it if you can 1v1 the enemy jungler/the other jungler is somewhere else)
Green: Ward this if your Lanes fail and get ganked a lot and they don't want to buy wards - it's mainly a problem at top lane in lower elo/normal games.
Summary
Jungle
Jax is quite good if you know how to play him.You can play him in many different ways! If you fail the first few games, it's not a problem! Keep practising and never stop learing!
