Zyra is an AP, support, champion who can deal lots of damage on multiple targets at one time. She is extremely squishy, here I will explain how to build Zyra and talk about how to play her.

Why take Greater Mark of Magic Penetration?
There is really no other viable choice on AP mages for marks instead of Greater Mark of Magic Penetration.

Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration is a must-have on Zyra, it will give her mana regeneration over the course of the game since her spells cost lots of mana.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power is great on Zyra, it gives her ability power over the course of time which stacks with Blast , so it is a must-have in our rune page.

And Most Importantly.... *drum roll*
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power
This is a must-have on every AP mage, it gives them 15 AP with 3 of these.

There are the core/most important items on Zyra.
Athene's Unholy Grail gives her lots of mana regen, and gives her 12% of her maximum mana on kill or assist.

Rabadon's Deathcap is essential on every burst mage, it gives her AP and increases her AP by 30%.

Liandry's Torment is very essential on Zyra, it will increase her AoE damage and will give her DoT on her spells.

Boots

This gives Zyra lots of magic penetration and lets her shred through her enemy's magic resist along with Void Staff, and Arcane Knowledge .

This gives Zyra MR which reduces the enemy mage's damage output.

This will help Zyra be able to escape sticky situations since she has no reliable escape mechanism.

Ignite is essential on almost every burst mage, and might let you pick up an easy FIRST BLOOD.
