Note: Some of the information might be outdated because of season 3 changes. I didn't update it yet because I'm taking a break on League of Legends.
Welcome to my Kha'Zix guide. In this guide I will explain how to play as Kha'Zix, my Masteries, my Runes and my item choises.
Some things to say:
-Everything said in this guide is MY opinion. If you don't agree with item,runes or masteries choises let me know that in the comments.
-Before you downvote please tell me in the comments why you want to. Maybe I can change something in my guide. Just look back later and see if I changed something or gave you an explanation of my choise.
-This is my first guide and I'm not the best with coding.

A vicious Void predator, Kha'Zix infiltrated Valoran to devour the land's most promising creatures. With each kill he absorbs his prey's strength, evolving to grow more powerful. Kha'Zix hungers most to conquer and consume Rengar, the one beast he considers his equal.
When Kha'Zix crossed over into this world, he was fragile and ravenous. The animals he first encountered were too small to fuel the rapid evolution he craved. Kha'Zix focused his hunger on the most dangerous creatures he could find, risking his life to satisfy his need. With each kill he feasted and changed, becoming a stronger, faster predator. Kha'Zix soon chased his prey with unrestrained aggression, believing he was unstoppable. One day, while savoring a fresh kill, the predator became the prey. From cover a creature pounced in a blur of fangs and steel, tackling him to the ground. It roared in his face slashing and clawing, and Kha'Zix felt his blood spill for the first time. Screeching in fury, he sliced at the brute's eye driving it back. They fought from sunset to sunrise. Finally, near death, they reluctantly separated. As his wounds closed, Kha'Zix burned with anticipation at the idea of devouring one who could match the Void's strength. He resumed his search for powerful prey with renewed vigor. Someday, Kha'Zix will feast on Rengar.

Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed
I take Attackspeed marks because you don't buy any items that give you attackspeed at the beginning so this is a good choise. Armor seals are for easier jungling. Magic resistence per level glyphs are for a higher survibility against ap spells (usefull for ganking mid). Movement speed quintessences give you more mobility what makes you able to clear you jungle faster. It's also a good choise if you don't start with Boots of Speed.
I know that many people don't like using attackspeed runes so here are some alternatives for your marks:
Greater mark of Desolation
I take 21 points in offense to get important masteries like Weapon Expertise , Sunder and Brute Force . The 9 points in defense are for Durability and Veteran's Scars to get more health. Hardiness is for more armor and Summoner's Resolve to gain 10 gold for every Smite use.
These alternative masteries have the same points in offensive but 9 in utility. Wanderer is great to clear your jungle faster, Mastermind makes you use your Smite more often and Runic Affinity increases the duration of buffs by 20%.
Abilities, Skill Sequence and evolving your abilities
Your main damage tool is Taste Their Fear. It has a low cooldown and does a very high damage. Max it first.
Your 2nd important ability is Void Spike. It's not that good until you evolve it. It still does a good damage and heals you if you are near the hit target (good for jungling). Leap is an extremly usefull ability. Your whole mobility relies on it. Take an early point in it but max it last.
Void Assault is your ultimate. In my opinion it's not very usefull. The only usefull thing is that you can get closer to your enemys or run away due to the extra movement speed it gives you while activation.
That's the best thing about Kha'Zix. Every time you upgrade your ultimate you can evolve 1 of your abilities what makes them much better.
Here is your evolving order:
A short explanation to this order:
Taste Their Fear is your main damage tool = evolve it first.
Evolving Leap is like the moment you are waiting for the whole game. It gives you such a great mobility and it's cooldown is reset if you get a kill or an assist.
As I said Void Spike is not the best ability, so you evolve it last.
Why I don't evolve Void Assault?
It's a big mistake to evolve it instead of one of your other abilites. You can get invisible 1 additional time and you take less damage while invisible. In every game I played I never had a problem not evolving it. I could have played without that ultimate (active effect).
If you have some problems with jungling start with armor.
These are the best starting items because they let you clear your jungle much faster and makes you have better ganks.
These items let you clear your jungler faster too and make your ganks stronger but you have less mobility.
Take Berserker's Greaves only if you really need more attack speed (like if you don't use attackspeed runes). Take Mercury's Treads if you need more magic resistence or you need tenacity. Ionian Boots of Lucidity are also a great choise on Kha'Zix because you can really spam your abilites in combination with the cooldown reduction from The Brutalizer, but I would mostly recommend Boots of Mobility for a better mobility.
Your first item is Wriggle's Lantern. It's a must have item for every jungler because it gives you armor, damage and lifesteal. But the most important thing is its passive. You got a 20% chance to deal 425 magic damage to a monster or minion and you got a free ward every 3 minutes, which is usefull to ward your jungle, lanes or dragon and baron.
Frozen Mallet is also a must have for Kha'Zix because he is very squishy. It gives you a great amount of HP and slows your enemys with every hit. It can also be good combined with Atma's Impaler.
The Brutalizer is great on Kha'Zix because it lowers your cooldowns so that you can spam Taste Their Fear and Void Spike. It's also good because Leap has a big cooldown until you evolve it.
Your next item is The Bloodthirster because it gives you a great amount of damage and you don't loose his stacks easy because you can great escape with Leap. You also have a great lifesteal combined with Wriggle's Lantern.
This is a great item on Kha'Zix. You are all the time diving into the enemy team with Leap so you often get focused. No problem with Guardian Angel
Your last thing to do will be upgrading The Brutalizer. It gives you a higher crit chance, armor penetration (what is good if you dont have runes for that) and his active passive gives you more movement speed.
All items shown here should replace your Guardian Angel.
If you have a big problem with AD carrys take this item. It also gives you more attack damage because of your high life due to Frozen Mallet
Have a problem with AP casters? Not longer. This is the way to go if you need more magic resistence.
This is a good choice if you got fed and have lots of gold. It gives you all the things you need. Also Sheen can be very effective on Kha'Zix because you are using your abilities as your main damage source.
This can be a great item on Kha'Zix. It gives you a huge amount of attackspeed (what is good because you dont have much) and it gives you more movementspeed.
Enemy team stacking armor? No problem. Just take Last Whisper.
This is a must have spell for jungling. Take it every time.
Choosing 2nd Spell
On every other champion I would recommend Flash, but on Kha'Zix it can be useless in late game if you evolve Leap. Why? Leap is almost never on cooldown if you evolve it and its range is higher than Flash.
Ignite for a higher damage.
Exhaust for better ganking.
I still take Flash but if you think you don't need it or if you are going to evolve Leap first, you should ask yourself if you really need it.
-If you're doing Red or Blue Buff you should first kill the 2 small monsters, so Taste Their Fear deals additional damage.
-If you lost some health stay near the monster and use Void Spike. It will heal you.
The Hunt is On!
The Hunt Is On! is an event that occurs in games where there is a Rengar and Kha'Zix on opposing teams.
The event begins a seemingly random length of time after the following conditions have been met:
- Kha'Zix has used all three evolution points (minimum champion level of 16).
- Rengar is in possession of his unique item, the Bonetooth Necklace.
Each champion is assigned to kill the other and the first to achieve this claims victory and is rewarded (assists count). The event can only occur once per game.
The Hunt Is On!: Rengar must kill Kha'Zix first to become the ultimate hunter. (Assists count). Rengar stalks Kha'Zix, his greatest prize, and the one beast to have escaped him. If Rengar is victorious, his Bonetooth Necklace is replaced with an item called the "Head of Kha'Zix". This item provides the benefits of a fully stacked Bonetooth Necklace.
"This twisted monster has evaded me for too long. I will have his head!"
The Hunt Is On!: Kha'zix must kill Rengar first in order to become the ultimate predator (Assists count.) Kha'Zix is ready to devour Rengar, his greatest prey. If Kha'Zix is victorious, he gains a fourth evolution point. This allows Kha'Zix to evolve in to each of his four abilities.
"I have grown and adapted since I took his eye. I will feast on lion!"
Kha'Zix is a great jungler with a high mobility and incredible good ganks. I know that many people just think it's a Rengar copy. They have some similarities, but there are many differences. In my opinion Kha'Zix is an own champion, who is really fun to play.
