Hello! My name is ThePieGood and i welcome you to my 1st guide in PreSeason! I hope this guide helps you play champions that are out of meta and Kennen too! I'm a high-elo player and i have started playing Kennen because of the damage he deals and because not a lot of people know how to deal with him because he's rarely played.

I'm a Diamond 3 player and i have been playing this game for a really long time, ever since season 1. I've been recognized as the 983rd best Wukong in the WORLD!and used to be 999th best Leona! it doesn't looks much but it's such an achievement for me despite my young age.

PROS
He's a Yordle..
He does significant amounts of damage quick.
He's easy to play but hard to master.
His kit is fun and you can ensure 50-80% CC almost all the time.
In teamfights, he is the backbone of damage as he can deal SO MUCH DAMAGE THAT HE'S FOCUSED FIRST, that's why you build zhonya's <3

CONS
He's squishy early.
You can easily lose energy pretty fast if you can't complete combos.
If you fall behind, it's hard to get back to the game since his items are expensive.
His cooldowns are fairly long especially his E and R.

This is where excels because his and does SO MUCH DAMAGE. You can ensure that your stuns are going to proc and your team can just clean up. Once you have Zhonya's, it's almost impossible to stop Kennen from doing the damage he has to do. It feels so satisfying too just seeing the enemy health bars go from full to half in a matter of seconds.

is usually the initiator, if not one of the initiators. You are crucial to the team as you make the calls in teamfights. It's high risk because you get the pressure but really high reward because you can win fights easily if things go well.

REMEMBER TO Zhonya's Hourglass

Ignite is my second option if you know the enemy top laners are going to sustain a lot and you can't deal with that.

Heal I sometimes bring heal but it's not recommended because of the popularity of ignite.

Barrier Yes it's weird but think about it. If they bring ignite and you barrier, it's a temporary SHIELD and it doesn't heal you. That sucks? NO, if they ignite you and you heal, it halves the hp you gain but if you barrier, it procs its full stats as its a shield.

I don't think i have to explain but i'll go for it to those who don't know what to do.
Always auto the melee minions at least once or twice then Lightning Rush and Electrical Surge to instantly finish off the other minions. Also, remember to try use your E to hit your opponent unless otherwise so it can benefit you.

I haven't done a guide in so long so please excuse my level of skill in writing this.
PLEASE give me feedback on how to improve my guides and maybe my itemization.
This is solely based on my opinion and if you think that it's wrong, I recommend you to **** OFF, IM KIDDING LOL. I recommend you to give me reasons why or why not my items are legitimate and i will try *tweaking* or *fix* my items.
