INTRO

Hi, I'm Amizar, this is my first guide I've ever done, sorry if it looks unprofessional, it is. Pointers are welcome. I'm a Silver 1 on NA and I've found a Master Yi build that can win games consistently and lightning fast. Right now my win/loss record is 77/43. Message me in-game if you want me to go more in-depth personally or to extend the guide. Enjoy.

Gameplay

This chapter is by far the most important part of the entire guide. This can't be done without the runes I mentioned above. YOU HAVE TO TAKE THESE RUNES to do this. Others can be strong but this method can only be done with either a support leashing you all through the jungle or the runes I mentioned. Start at Krugs, then clear each jungle camp instead of going krugs>red>blue. From here you can either invade the enemy jungler if you feel comfortable doing so, or you can try to gank a lane if there's one that seems open. Do whatever it takes (without dying, of course,) to get to 2100 gold by 7:00-7:30. Then back IMMEDIATELY for devourer. DO NOT GET DRAGON OR RIFT HERALD BEFORE YOU HAVE THIS ITEM. Once you have Devourer (skirmisher's sabre definitely the best of the 3), go to dragon. If you're the red team go to your red buff then clear it > raptors > blue > dragon scuttle > dragon. If you're blue team go to your red > dragon scuttle > dragon. Then you can clear your jungle and go IMMEDIATELY to rift herald. Ignore the prospect of getting gold, the 5 stacks from clearing that monster (and the fancy buff that comes with it) will put you at around 20 stacks by 9-10 minutes into the game if you can clear the jungle well. At this point you can gank some, but focus primarily on finishing sated devourer, then back once you hit 2800 gold for guinsoo's (or merc if you have the 3700 gold to finish it completely). Then is your time to start powerganking. Get your buffs whenever they spawn, don't bother giving to mid or adc (at least in low elo you can win games by yourself so why bother). If you have done all that successfully, you should be at the point by 15 minutes where the enemy team has no possible hope of fighting you. At this point you can begin closing out the game. Pick a lane, gank it, get a couple towers, if the enemy team comes at you with equal numbers, kill them. If they come at you with more enemies than you and the allies near you then back off and go to another lane/back if you have enough gold for another core item. You can baron if you have an ace and your team is willing, but it's usually pointless since you can end before 30 minutes anyway.

Tips and Tricks

There are several nuances to this champion that mostly go unnoticed. One of them being the fact that in 5.20 or so Sated Devourer's interaction with Master Yi changed drastically. Now your passive applies to Sated, and you can double strike every other AA. Another trick most people don't know about is that Meditate (W) is an auto attack reset, but you have to click to re-auto. You have to auto-w-auto as opposed to Talon's Noxian Guillotine (Q) which automatically double autos. Also, most people know this but don't use it enough, Meditate EXTREMELY reduces damage taken, and if you may have a window for escape/cooldown coming up in the next 5 seconds, Meditating can save you from bursty abilities like Veigar's Ultimate or tower shots (half reduction for tower shots). Also, Alpha Strike not only dodges skill shots but targeted abilities as well, like Vladimir's pool.

Summary

°Take full AS runes.
°Take 12-18-0 masteries.
°Back as soon as you can get Devourer
°Get dragon and Rift Herald ASAP after you get Devourer (NEVER BEFORE)
°Rush Merc if you can afford it all at once, Guinsoo's if not.
°If you can 14:30 Sated, you ARE the strongest champion in the game, Even if enemy is fed.
°Baron's usually a waste of time, although if the PERFECT opportunity comes along go for it.
°You can end well before 30 minutes if you can completely follow this guide.
°Any questions, add me at Amizar, on the NA server. Merry Christmas!
