Introduction

First, this is my first "guide" and my English isnt perfect, so please dont blame me for mistakes; just trying to help you ;)

Laning Phase/Early Game

Most of the time in lane you just try to get much farm as possible. 10 minions/min are pretty good, so tryhard ;) You have alot of range so try to use it and to poke your opponent as often as you can. Especially your aa´s are pretty good for harrassing in early game laning phase.
Also try to look at the minimap for the enemy jungler. You can go a bit more offensive if you know the enemy jungler is botlane or toplane. Orianna is pretty flashy for ganks, so watch out!
You dont even have to kill your opponent in lane for carrying midgame. Just try to get much farm as possible and your dmg will be pretty huge also without kills. Try at each back to buy a couple of wards for covering your own lane and also for supporting your other teammates. You also can carry with vision cause you get alot of information of vision.

Midgame/Lategame

The roam potential of Orianna isnt the best but also not the worst. Keep in mind, just roam if your ultimate is up, especially if you roam at bottom lane.
Okay, so your ultimate ability is the most important ability for mid/late game especially in teamfights. You can carry a hole teamfight if you just 3 or more people with your ult, w combo. Its insane dmg and cc. In teamfights try to stay at the back maybe to shield your frontline for engages or your adc if he is focused. With Oriannas E you have alot of opportunities for engaging. Put your ball with your E ability at a strong frontliner with strong engage e.g. Shyvana, and press your ultimate key if your tank is in the middle of the enemy team. That will garante you a big advantage especially if you have alot af aoe spells in your team.

Pros / Cons

Pros: - Consitent dmg in teamfights, dmgcap with ultimate
- Longranged poke, bully in lane if played corectly
- Mostly safe laner
- Nice ap ratios at w (0,7) and ult (0,7)
- Highdmg with aa´s for an ap mid, nice trading potential early
- Your ultimate ability can carry a hole teamfight
- Gold independent (-> you dont need alot of kills, just farm is important


Cons: - Low mobility
- Flashy for ganks if you playing to offensive at the wrong
- Ultimate is easy to dodge
- High skillcap for mastering
