Vayne is very hard to land R on, and with ardent comps, even if you do, it is hard to oneshot her because of her ability to outkite you unless you are extremely fed, and if she isn't oneshot, she will just turn on you and kill you. My ban almost every champ select.
Hecarim
Hecarim is a full clearer that can easily get a lead if your team doesn't respect his obvious clear path and gank timings (trust me, they won't). It is extremely hard to punish him unless he is inting, since he will usually just zoom out from an unfavorable fight with either phase rush or ult, will usually pressure the map more than you, be more useful in fights, and just be overall too tanky to kill. Just like any other full clearer, a pain to deal with.
Xin Zhao
This matchup is very snowbally, and either one of Warwick of Xin Zhao might end up useless for the rest of the game in the first 5 minutes of the game. It really does depend though. In identical circumstances (same gold, same levels), warwick beats xin zhao 1v1 without a problem, but that's rarely how the matchup goes.
Evelynn
Evelynn is another full clearer that's annoying to deal with. She is not a hard counter, but after Q buffs a while ago she can constantly outkite you and not allow you to reach her. On top of that, she can dodge your R with her R, or execute you on low hp, which is your strongest point. If you do hit R on her, any follow up from your team will result in her dying. Try to pressure the map before she is able to hit 6 and get a free lead.
Lee Sin
Lee sin and Warwick matchup, I'd say, is a bit Lee sided, but in lower elos Warwick tends to win this matchup. If you are a Lee sin player trying to counter Warwick, my best advice is that you ult him before he starts dashing through you with his Q, since, if you wait too long, your ult won't do anything (weird interaction). Other than that, Warwick can follow Lee's W, but if you just wait out warwick's Q and W to your enemy or ward after, warwick will end up in a spot with no escape besides his flash or R (if he has it). If played correctly, Lee sin wins. Also very snowbally matchup.
Gwen
Warwick is one of the best champions to counter Gwen's strong kit, as her W is essentially useless if played correctly. No matter her W positioning, your R will always hit her, even if you start your R from outside her W. If she is a jungler that is super fed, however, it's not really going to matter cause you will never have enough damage to oneshot her, her team will play around her and she will just nuke everyone down. This can happen since she is a very efficient hyperscaling full clearer, so be careful and try your best to impact the map and punish her before she is able to do so.
Sejuani
Sejuani is very annoying for WW since you can basically never kill her due to how tanky she is. On top of that, your fear will almost never slow her, since she can be immune to slows. Also, if you get ulted by her in a teamfight, you are probably dead. If you get ahead a lot early though, she is really useless compared to you, and BORK is really broken now, making it possible to actually deal with her tankiness.
Nocturne
There are, I think, in total 4 junglers that can solo kill WW 1v1 early, on equal terms. This is one of them. Lethal tempo nocturne is very strong, and his spell shield will very likely block either your Q or your E, if he times it correctly. If he does not do either of those, you win. If he does either one of those, he probably wins. Be careful early game, as you do outscale him, if you accumulate the same amount of gold as him, so there is no point to force. If they are playing nocturne and tf however, it can be very hard to survive when trying to protect your laners.
Kha'Zix
Kha'zix will beat Warwick 1v1 when significantly ahead. Kha'zix can beat Warwick 1v1 when even, but he probably won't. That's not the real issue. Kha'zix E and R are very safe abilities that make it essentially impossible for you to solo kill him, since he is going to use one or the other and run away. If he is trolling, you can follow his E with your Q, but that will not necessarily result in a kill. His evolved W is the most annoying thing to play against, as you are essentially zilean slowed if he built serylda's. Dodge worthy matchup.
Trundle
The only melee champion in the game, from my knowledge, that beats warwick 1v1 at level 1. Level 2 Warwick also loses. Level 3 is trundle favored but can be one by WW. However, this doesn't usually matter, as warwick can make use of lethal tempo than trundle, and you don't run that many tank items, making your all in much much stronger than his. Not as bad of a matchup for warwick as people think, and with bork it is actually extremely easy.
Olaf
Olaf JG is the biggest counter to warwick JG in the game. Period. Your main source of burst damage (your R) does nothing to him as he is unstoppable in his R, his E does true damage and goes through your E. His q slows you and he is stronger than you. The only reason I put him as a 4 instead of a 5 is because he incredibly useless now and out of the meta, so him being a counter doesn't really mean anything. After he gets buffed, and he will, he will be a threat again.
Shaco
Care against early cheese invades against you and in scuttle fights, as he always runs ignite (big counter to ww in the early game) and if you get caught in his boxes you will most likely die or have to burn flash. Pay attention to what he does and try your best to not let him snowball. After you survive early game, he is still very annoying, but my best advice is to just ignore his existence. I do that and it works most of the time. They want you to try to kill them. Don't bother, your ranged carries or any carries can deal with him while you kill his team's backline or something.
Jarvan IV
Jarvan favored, but playable. Depends on how smart he is and how he chooses fights. Also, how much he snowballs and his ability to cancel your R with his EQ combo.
Ekko
It is really hard for warwick to punish ekko, since he can just instantly ult after your ult, and then be more useful than you afterwards. Pray he doesn't snowball more than you, and care his potential to catch you in the jungle with his laners early.
Lulu
Very annoying to play against for warwick. Best advice is to focus her instead of the adc in fights, otherwise you will get polymorfed or she will ult your target, making you completely useless in the fight. If you ult her, she will panic ult right after, so if you instantly q after your r, you can counter her R knockback, since warwick's q makes his displacement immune. If she has vayne adc or a fed adc, you will instantly get collapsed on and probably die, vayne lulu matchup I'd dodge unless my bot is looking strong.
Zilean
The biggest counter to warwick in the game. You wanna be able to move or be useful by catching someone and killing someone in fights or without them expecting it? Yeah nah grandpa disagrees.
Jax
Care using your entire damage while his E is up, he will block your auto damage, your q damage as well as your entire R damage just with one ability.
Shen
Same story as with jax, annoying as he can dodge all of your damage (autos, Q and R). You can wait it out, but if you are jungle and are looking to get a lead, shen will say naughty doggo and bitch slap you into oblivion without you being able to finish off the target since he will help them not take any damage from you either.
Soraka
Can easily counter your R and alone for WW is hard to deal with. Requires a good team.
Morgana
Not really in the meta, but her kit is very hard for WW to deal with. E to counter warwick's engage, R to follow up if warwick tries and kill him. Not really meta thankfully.
Karthus
Doesn't seem like a natural counter, but there is essentially nothing you can do if Karthus plays it correctly. Full clearing into outscaling, better pressure in ganks and without Warwick having R it's really hard to reach karthus and kill him. If you do and have flash up and no one is there to help him, you will kill him but that almost never happens so.
Nidalee
Almost impossible for WW to kill her because of her low dash cooldown. She can constantly cheese invade you, steal your camps and outpressure on the map if she plays it well.
Zilean
Biggest counter and also biggest chad when you happen to have him on your team. His E on you is super broken and pressure from R allows you to do whatever the hell you want as long as you are ahead.
Lulu
Lulu is an incredibly strong support for when you have one carry on your team. Early game warwick is one of the strongest champions in the game unless he gets hard counter picked, having lulu and having R up automatically wins you every fight unless you are already super behind in the first place.
Veigar
Veigar helps you stick on to the targets really easily, and is really strong with warwick in the current meta. I really like playing around my midlane veigars, even if i missplay it usually works out to my favor.

If you q a minion or monster and she throws it with her w, you can go for a ride, that's pretty cute.
