It's better to get HP regen items on Riven if you're concerned about sustain in a lane. Philo Stone works great on her, and so do HP Regen quints.
It's fine I usually pick up a Doran's Blade to take first blood pretty easily it was only a concern mid late game picking up lifesteal with additional damage keeps Riven up decently enough while usually having the most Attack Damage on the team.
There seems to be some effort in the build, so I am not going to vote. I am just going to criticize youre choices, while giving an explanation for them, trying to give constructive feedback.
Thanks for the constructive mature feedback, I am constantly updating this guide.
I tried for a balanced Riven in my current build focusing on early game anti champion kills.
The problem with Riven that I came across is I'd become underfarmed and gold was a real issue, now I know Riven has a lot of early game issues, as I was experimenting with builds that worked for me.
As you stated before it's all personal preference and I respect that, but I personally like to build a little tanky. I grabbed Trinity Force for the 150% + extra boost in damage inbetween combo's utilising Riven's passive to the full extent. This build at the current time isn't stacking life steal wiggles lantern is in the build to allow Riven to top creep kills fairly easy while laying additional armour etc starks fevor
I also selected Guardian Angel over Banshee's Veil because along with runes and other items Riven at end games becomes "tanky" against most enemy without the drop in attack damage. Also Guardian Angel allows resurrection, which with Riven allows her to come back and almost escape successfully most of the time.
I'll be adding alternative builds throughout the guide soon, please come back often.
First, I would like to comment on youre runes. Where I do think that extra survivability is not bad, but my opinion in runes would be that only two set of runes should be defensive at max, as youre build is not a tank build, nor an offtank build.
Same with masteries. Also those picked points in offense tree Offense Mastery would be more useful in defense tree or utility tree. Myself I like the Good Hands and Awareness more than defense tree, but then again this is my own personal choice.
About items, There are good item picks, but there is one thing I would like to point out.
You have no Attack Speed items, or runes, in which case I would not boost them with mastery points. Tri Force just doesnt give enough attack speed. My advice would be to think about getting starks, to emphathise the attack speed, to have lifesteal, and the aura is helpful for allies.
Also, I would consider changing GA to Banshees, but that is just me.
Also, I would make the order different, but then again, that is just me.
One more thing, about wriggles.
Sure, it is nice item, but my opinion is that wriggles just does not fit Riven, even if you build a jungle build. The item could be replaced by so much better items. Yes, Wriggles cost nothing, but I still stick with what I said.
Also, try to speak abit more how to position yourself in teamfights, what to use and to who, little tricks with riven and such.
Good job, on creating a build, but I personally dislike too many of the choices to give a +. I am not going to - either though, sincerely I havent yet tried it and not sure if it works. Just a few of the items I know for sure which do not work with riven have been pointed out.
