Always take FLASH and TELEPORT, you need flash to get away from ganks, and flash ult can be a powerful initiation tool.
Teleport gives you potential to snowball mid or bot lane with your ult since your ult has a huge range even if you teleport a bit farther away from your enemies.

Max Q when you are against ranged harass such as Gangplank, Rumble, Lissandra, or in an unfavorable match up, or against any AP champion.
Max E against every AD champion except Gangplank.

Use w to last hit, never use your q to last hit, and if you are maxing e that can be a good tool to farm with if you are trying to push.
