Introduction

Hello and welcome to my Nunu & Willump guide.

While Alistar is my favorite champion, Nunu & Willump is easily my most played champion. His niche is his Blood Boil, which is perfect on AD Carries. He is not very item dependent, and is good through out the whole game. Nunu is one the best warders and anti-warders in the game. He is probably the only support that can roam off and counter jungle! He is also about as hard to catch sometimes as Janna and Nidalee. He is also an excellent first pick in draft mode, sense he is efficient in the jungle as he is in lane. Not only that but if forced to we can easily hold his own in solo lanes. Nunu is extremely versatile.

Season 3 put Nunu & Willump sort of on "high demand". With the nerf on attack speed, Nunu & Willump was indirectly buffed! His blood boil makes a larger impact that it did in Season 3.

I would consider Nunu & Willump as a high tier champ. When I play Nunu & Willump you play sort of hit and run, unless your engaged in a team fight. He is an annoying champion to play against and you need to use that as your weapon. If you like the option to play actively or passively in one champ, use this guy.

So how do you play Nunu? Well Nunu can go support and jungle pretty viably. Top lane his an excellent lane bully, and he can even go mid lane in a pinch. Since this is a support guide, real quick I'll tell you how to play Nunu here in the introduction, there's more detail later. In lane keep blood boil up quite a bit, it has a good intimidation factor. Use Ice Ball as a poke, but don't let yourself run out of mana. Use consume to sustain yourself in lane. Use Absolute Zero in a bush or in a teamfight/skirmish to do some serious debuffing and damage.

This song is here literally just because of it's title.

Current Nunu

4/17 - He was brought down a few levels with his last nerf to blood boil. Nunu is still annoying with Caitlyn and still strong with Kog'Maw.

I would say right now he is a better jungler, but he still is a good support. It's like how Zyra is a fantastic support yet still a good mid.

-A anti anti-fun champion (Nunu beats Teemo and Darius)
-Fun to juke, sometimes you feel so fiendish :)
-Excellent peeler
-Can handle good and bad situations in lane
-One of the best buffs in the game
-Lane sustainability
-Strong synergy with many AD Carries
-Can effectively counter jungle if needed
Bad

-Nunu has a low-ish win rate
-Melee support
-Not great with a few AD Carries
-High mana usage
-In no way can he carry

Lore

Freljord is an unforgiving land covered in snow and ice. Travel, especially in the winter, can be very dangerous. The elements often claim even those who have spent their entire lives there. The boy known as Nunu is defined by such tragedy. One day when he was a young child, Nunu rode on his father's back as they returned from a trapping expedition in the mountains. An unexpected blizzard came upon them, forcing them to seek refuge in a cave. The tempest was the worst in countless years, and it lasted for days. Nunu's father left to find food, but he never returned.

The blizzard eventually cleared, and the young child lay dying on the mountainside. Fortunately for Nunu, this was the land of the yetis, who are powerful beasts with whom Nunu's father had secured an arrangement for safe passage. A young yeti boy named Willump found Nunu and brought him home. From then on Nunu was raised by the yetis, whose culture remains a mystery to most Runeterrans. The boy quickly discovered that the seemingly savage creatures were in fact deeply spiritual beings living in harmony with their environment. They are very territorial and unafraid of defending themselves if called upon to do so. The yetis have watched the rest of Valoran, and they can smell the change on the wind. When the League of Legends was formed, the yetis knew they needed a champion. Riding his brother Willump, Nunu became that champion. Those who follow the League know that the boy is mature beyond his years, but, while he appears human, his mind is that of his adoptive kin.

If this is him now, imagine what Nunu will be like when he grows up!

Masteries

Summoner's Insight -Good to have less of a cool down on Flash
Mastermind -Nice to have CDR on your spells but its mostly for dipping into the next tier.
Meditation -Use the extra points to help sustain your early game, where mana is a issue.
Artificer -A good mastery to have when you use tons of active items.
Greed -A core mastery for all supports. Gold over time is OP.
Biscuiteer -A point to give something tangible! The biscuit works at the same time as a health potion or flask, so that's the best time to use it! You can get some serious clutch with biscuit + potion.
Explorer -The perfect item for "checking" or "I just need to keep this clear for 5 seconds" or "if i can get Sona out of that bush for just a second". Don't use it for warding the river or tri-bush.

On the utility side you still get everything you pretty much need as a support. The CDR on Intelligence would be awesome on Nunu but not as much as on say Alistar. We get CDR in the offensive tree nonetheless

Nimble gives more movement speed, which every champion likes. Nunu & Willump has a built movement speed and a very reliable slow, so we don't need it.

We would get the masteries above if there was nothing for Nunu to dip in, turns out you have to enough to dip and grab Block

Durability -Time to get some tankiness! This mastery gives over 100 health at level 18 and is a level 1 mastery. Neat!
Hardiness -We favor armor over magic resistant because your not going against AP at the beginning, are you?
Perseverance-A nice health regen mastery, but we only grab it because there's nothing better to grab.
Resistance -To help with dealing with the enemy carry early game.
Veteran's Scars -30 free health right off the bat is very much appreciated.
Unyielding and Block negate a total of 5 damage from champions. Doesn't seem like much but it is extremely nice when you constantly being poked at, and does give nice defense in teamfights.
Juggernaut -goes well with health being the best defense stat thus far.

Summoner's Wrath -Make's your Exhaust that much more useful, really helps when focusing one target.

Runes

Since I take the exact same runes for Nunu & Willump on Alistar, this upcoming part is straight from my Alistar guide.

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush

With support's you have a couple of options.

Greater Mark of Armor-The extra armor helps out a ton while laning. For marks you could choose between armor and magic pen. Usually I opt for armor, even though the marks are made for offense. The only time I use Insight runes is when I see we have alot of AP on our team, I also used Magic Pen runes when i didn't have the armor runes yet.

Greater Seal of Armor-Again with the extra armor. For seals you can choose between armor or gold. I almost always go for armor. I find that you are just too squishy without armor, even with Alistar. Gold Seals are "very" optional.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist-For blues I take Shielding. Very standard and highly recommended for almost any champ. You can also use CDR runes as well.

Greater Quintessence of Gold-For Quints you have a couple of options. In season 2 Gold Quints where my choice picks, that might change in this season. Movement Quints are also excellent choices. Ability power quints can be used if you plan on building for an AP team.

Spells

Flash-Almost every champ makes use of this spell. Nunu & Willump can flash for better positioning to use Absolute Zero. Also it helps his amazing juking potential.

Exhaust-An excellent spell to support with. Plus we won't take the kill.

Alternatives

Heal-It's certainly another good option. I used to run in on all my supports, but I'm personally finding that Exhaust for me works better.

Clarity-Good on Zilean maybe, but it's not worth a spell slot otherwise.

Ghost-Ghost is a great offensive spell, not so much defensive. Support Nunu & Willump doesn't need to hall *** after the enemy for a kill compared to jungle Dr. Mundo or Olaf.

Clairvoyance-With the introduction of better warding and nerf on oracle's, this spell would only be worthwile early game. Exhaust and Heal are always beneficial.

Teleport-Really nice spell to have on any team. If your addicted to it, it would be okay for you to get it. Just make sure to ask if it is okay.

Skills

Visionary Nunu can cast a spell for free after 5 attacks.

Helps with mana usage, but it's far more useful on jungle Nunu & Willump.

Consume Nunu commands the yeti to take a bite out of a target minion or monster, dealing heavy damage to it and healing himself.

Nunu commands the yeti to take a bite out of a minion or monster, dealing 500/600/700/800/900 true damage to the target and healing himself for 125/180/235/290/345 (+1).

Cost
60 Mana
Range
125

Helps with lane sustain. This only with visionary helps you stay in lane alot longer than your opponents.

Blood Boil Nunu invigorates himself and an allied unit by heating their blood, increasing their Movement and Attack Speeds.

The heat of Nunu and a target ally's blood rises, increasing Movement Speed by 11/12/13/14/15% and Attack Speed by 25/35/45/55/65% for 15 seconds.

Cost
50 Mana
Range
700

Not sure how Nunu "heats your blood", but it's your bread and butter as a support. Attack Speed and Movement speed are what AD Carries love. You can also have a ton of CDR and potentially have two champs with blood boil at once! The Season 3 nerf to this skill certainly does hurt, but it doesn't really hurt his effectiveness as a support. Nunu & Willump + Caitlyn still sucks to go against.

Ice Blast Nunu launches a ball of ice at an enemy unit, dealing damage and temporarily slowing their Movement and Attack Speeds.

Nunu launches a ball of ice at an enemy unit, dealing 85/130/175/225/275 (+1) magic damage and slowing their Movement Speed by 20/30/40/50/60% and Attack Speed by 25% for 3 seconds.

Cost
75/85/95/105/115 Mana
Range
550

Probably not intended for support use, but it's a nice poke that has high base damage that fits along side other support pokes. Not only does it lower movement speed, it also lowers attack speed! Perfect against champs who rely too much on attack speed.

Absolute Zero Nunu begins to sap the area of heat, slowing all nearby enemies. When the spell ends, he deals massive damage to all enemies caught in the area.
Nunu saps the area of heat, channeling up to 3 seconds, slowing surrounding enemy units' Movement Speed by 50% and Attack Speed by 25%.

Enemies caught in the area when the channel ends receive up to 625/875/1125 (+2.5) magic damage, depending on how long the spell was channeled.

Cost
150 Mana
Range
650

Does alot of damage on its own, it has tons of uses. Use it in a bush and have someone bait to instantly put a skirmish into your favor. Use in a teamfight to force focus onto you and off your teammates. Use it to steal objectives.

The order in which to level each skill

I will typically level blood boil first. That's because leveling ice blast first tends to make you lose your mana easier. Not only that but it's more popular to buy early lifesteal so your already weakish ice ball is just wasting your mana. You can still poke the enemy support but I tend to find that helping your carry become more deadlier is always better. Having Carries that synergize (see below) well with nunu makes it where blood boil is the more obvious choice.

The only time I tend to level ice blast first if my carry isn't doing so well and I need to transition into more damage. Also if you guys counter picked your lane and suspect your gonna have a easy time it would be okay level ice blast first. If you see you laning with someone who doesn't need that much attack speed like Corki or Draven, I find that ice blast is also better.

Sometimes I alternate leveling ice blast and blood boil, mostly if both sides are quite even.

And of course level consume last and always level your ultimate when you can.

Team Work

Synergies

A great deal of AD Carries work well with Nunu, here is a list of those that work exceptionally well.

Vayne nunu helps make up for her weak early game. Max blood boil first for an early fed hypercarry

Kog'Maw the wombo combo. Nunu instantly makes Kog a tier one ADC. Expect penta kill later in the game.

Caitlyn tournament play shows that it works dangerously. Cait zone the enemy like a Teemo zones a Nasus.

Ezreal nunu can give Ez even footing in a autoattack war. Combine with ez's passive and your shooting arcane bullets

Ashe Permaslows and deadly ults oh my! Nunu helps babysit Ashe pretty well and both can poke well. Consider giving iceball a few ranks early, especially against non sustain.

Your Mentality Throughout the Game

Early Game
-You're on even footing with everyone else
-Your job is to allow your carry to farm and survive while doing it
-Additional it is your job to ward the lane
-Find openings for a kill for your carry
-Pressure against the other team going for dragon
-Blood boil often

Mid Game
-You're job is to keep your AD Carry alive at all cost
-Pressure the dragon
-Keep dragon and baron warded
-Assist whenever possible
-counter jungle when possible
-Perma blood boil

Late Game
-Bait with your ult, or use it right in a middle of a team fight.
-Still peel for your carry, who is the MVP right now.
-Contest for baron
-Keep lanes from being pushed, but not during a "standoff".
-Ward ward ward
-perma blood boil. Blodd boil two champs if you have all your CDR

Tips

-Nunu has a niche in making his team excellent jukers, use blood boil to instantly stick or run away.

-Nunu can farm denier well. Ice ball when a carry goes for a last hit. They either take damage or lose a creep hitting you.

-Roam. When you've fed your carry 4 kills and the enemies are camping under there turret, it's time for second jungler.

-Your ult should be used whenever you can in bushes. Works well!

-Remember mid and late game that ice ball is a death mark. Enemies will fear you, or they will die when you bait them.

-Peel like the worlds best chef. That's what supports do, right? What is peeling? It's protecting your carry from gettin cc'd or damaged.

-Get in the way of the enemy if they try to nab your carry.

Find a duo queue AD Carry

In ranked your chances to gain elo HIGHLY increases if you have a ADC partner. It would be an great investment. I was lucky and got a duo queue partner in the form of my older brother (not only that but my younger brother is the jungler)! If you find someone you can get along with you will almost always win your lane, because chances are the guys your going against don't have as good communication as you two do. Can't promise you will almost always win your game though.

Items

Nunu & Willump is just as strong this season as he was last season. Itemization definitely help improve Nunu, but so id everyone else. Here is an explanation of items

Standard

I believe this is what will always be viable and what you should get most of the time first.

You have at least 2 AD Champs on team - This is if you have, for example, the ADC (which is always physical), someone like Olaf or Nocturne jungling, and someone like Irelia or Darius at top. Although Zeke's was nerfed your teammates will enjoy the added attack bonus. Nunu is great combined with auto attackers because of Blood Boil. Zeke's is still a good choice to boost the effect of Blood Boil.

You have less than 2 AD Champs on your team - So this is if like Fiddlesticks or Diana where jungling, or if Vladimir or Rumble where top. All you do is drop the Zeke's. This path is about as common as the last build.

Your team is heavy in AP - Nunu is not only great supporting AD's but also AP's. Nunu can take advantage of his AP team by boosting his own ridiculously high base AP.

You are against High AD - So if the other team is life what I explained at "You have at least 2 AD Champs on team" than this would be a good choice, and even better if your team is behind.

You are against high AP - Probably not very common for 3 opponents to go AP, could still be viable against 2 highly fed AP champs. Nunu likes the chance to build more AP too.

Good items for Nunu & Willump

Mercury's Treads
Ionian Boots of Lucidity Get what you need, CDR boots are the best when ahead.
Ninja Tabi

Shurelya's Battlesong AP's like Rabadons, AD Carries like Infinity, Supports like Shurelya's. Provides way to much usefulness to not get.

Zeke's Herald This item isn't as good anymore since they took away the attack speed. However Nunu probably uses this item the best out of any other supports, because of good synergy. Likely you will grab it. With the recent buff this item is even better for Nunu. Wouldn't recommend it on all supports, but I do with Nunu.

Runic Bulwark An item built from an already really good item. Definitely grab it if you can, excellent against Liandray's users. Communicate with your tank on who is gonna grab it, as it provides the highest magic res out of any other item

Shard of True Ice With Reverie and this item, no one can escape and no one can catch your team. The active is sort of cumbersome to place correctly. The biggest problem with this item is that it's such a "small" item. It's like on the same tier as brutalizer and phage.

Banner of Command An item to get ONLY at perfect times. If your against heavy AD PLUS if both teams are at sort of a stalemate, even than it's risky. Probably the best time to use it is with a 5 man premade who's goal is to push. You can use this item to split push and have your team push another lane. Either the promoted minions lane gets a tower or you end up with the other team having 4 players to contend with. Plus extra gold is nice.

Twin Shadows I used to think Ice pick was better, but now that I've played around with this item, this is alot better. Even the passive is better in my opinion. The item is utterly cheap still and provides some small but very useful stats, stats almost perfect for Nunu.

Mikael's Blessing I think this item would be a must if it provided CDR. You can grab it if you want, and it's not a bad choice. Supports like Lulu and Nami really like it because they are easy to OOM themselves, Nunu isn't as mana hungry.

Frozen Heart An excellent item. However Runic Bulwark is just so darn good. Grab this item if someone already grabbed Runic or your against heavy AD.

Locket of the Iron Solari This item is a direct counter to AOE team comps. I always thought this item was underrated in S2. Now that it's season 3, this item is a better choice than Randuins in my opinion. Grab this if you need to counter AOE or need CDR. I can imagine how good this item is with Thresh.

Abyssal Mask A item you could get if your team was high on AP, a real good item this way.

Other Options

I would consider these if you are fed, a teammate already has an item, or some other special circumstance (like against a non-meta team).

Spirit Visage Consume will be ridiculously good. You can grab this if you need CDR, health and magic res and don't need other sources.

Randuin's Omen I dunno, with the Heart of Gold gone I haven't picked up this item, and I haven't seen anyone else do it either. I placed them here just because they used to be staple items.

Iceborn Gauntlet It's okay on Nunu. You can grab these if your mopping the other team, or where in the middle of building Frozen Heart and decided you didnt need it..

Eleisa's Miracle I get this alot on other supports when I run Heal. Plus it's nice to have it be consumed. Grab this if you don't want Exhaust or just can't live without Heal.

Ohmwrecker Now building out of Philosopher's stone, this item could see alot more support play. Unfortunately when I look at it I see a bunch of random stats that don't really help that much. The passive is why you would get this item, I like Shurelya's passive and it's CDR alot better.

Will of the Ancients Now building out of Kage's Pick + being a cheap item it's not too bad of a support pick. If you don't need the magic resist and have heavy AP on your team this item would work well. Twin Shadows is so useful for facechecking though.

The PBE has this item build of of Kage's now, so its certainly a viable support item. Spell vamp isn't awesome on Nunu, but you never know.

Aura Items and You

A short little section about aura items, or specifically unique aura items. There is no since in having two Zeke's Herald, it's a waste money. Will of the Ancients and Frozen Heart also applies here. The reason is the auras don't stack on your teammates, only one the teammates who have the same items! Communicate with your team so you can maximize each other's potential and not get the same aura items.

The only exception I've seen is Runic Bulwark. Currently this item offers the highest magic resistance since the removal of beloved Force of Nature. Although the auras still don't stack, the item by itself it good without adding the benefit toward your teammates. Having a Bulwark on two champs causes the auras to stack, giving each other alot more defense!

Rushing Sightstone

Just read an article on Reign of Gaming that changed my mind about my original initial build. I'm a numbers guy, and this guide (http://www.reignofgaming.net/blogs/a-different-view/oldmaneyebrows/22729-why-and-how-supports-should-rush-sightstone) certainly had them. The article says that it is more gold efficient to rush a Sightstone than say, a Philo stone or Kage's Pick. The article was written when it was still around 475g. Now I would say to still get it as soon as you can, but since it's so expensive I tend to finish my Philostone first and grab 2-3 wards on my first trip back if it's a even/losing lane. If we have a kill or two under our belts I do grab a Sightstone my first trip back.

Matchups

Nunu & Willump's biggest strength is synergy, not countering. He does counter but not as well as other supports, such as say Alistar. Here's a list of matchups nonetheless, which can help you when to not choose Nunu.

Vs. Ashe Evenly Matched

She won't be able to kite you and you won't be able to kite her. She still sucks though so you will likely win.

Counters: Alistar, Blitzcrank

Vs. Blitzcrank Bad Choice

In lane you can survive but your not good at getting away from a grab, nor is your ability to save your carry from one. Late game Blitz can stop your ult whenever he wants with 3 buttons. Use a tank support that likes to get close (like our favorite cow), or use OP Zyra and ****block with your plants.

Counters: Alistar, Leona, Taric, Zyra

Vs. Corki Evenly matched

This is a lane where you want to synergize with your carry. You can easily harass corki and escape him, but so can he. If Nunu works well with your carry, use him.

Counters: Synergize with your carry

Vs. Draven Good choice

Nunu is a good choice Vs. You can consume any harass and slow an assault against your carry. Also you have a good advantage if you guys decide to assault, since Draven has no blink.

Counters: Alistar, Taric

Vs. Ezreal Evenly matched

I truly think Ez is OP. He has one of the highest winrates AND one of the highest play rates. That's ridiculous. Anyways since Nunu doesn't like blinks, Ez counters him. I suppose you can still use Nunu if you synergize with your carry.

Counters: Have your AD Carry counterpick

Vs. Graves Evenly Matched

I feel this lane is pretty safe for you. It's easy to harass, but Graves is Graves so he doesn't really mind.

Counters: Taric

Vs. Janna Evenly matched

You both don't have anything to counter eachother with. Nunu doesn't care about no tornados or hurricanes. If you see Janna moving to ult, just walk away since your so fast. If she does while you are ulting, just cancel and leave, or have you push you to safety for you!

Counters: Blitzcrank, Lulu, Taric

Vs. Kog'Maw Good choice

It's like Pantheon with Gangplank. Panth hard counters Bankplank but they both are good together on the same team. Nunu is Panth and Kog is GP. You ice ball Kog to remove both of his most useful stats.

Vs. Leona Bad Choice

This one is more between Bad Choice and Evenly Matched. Leona can't stop you from using your blood boil, and your still effective assaulting the enemy or assisting in a gank. However she easily threatens you with all of her cc and can stop your ult with her ult without any harm

Counters: Lulu, Janna, Taric

Vs. Lulu Bad choice

Lulu is a very strong support and is somewhat difficult to counter. Her poke is extremely annoying, she can easily baby sit her carry, and can disappoint you with her ult. She beats aggressive lanes, but doesn't care much for passive lanes and healers.

Counters: Soraka, Nami, Karma

Vs. Miss Fortune Evenly matched

My opinion is this champion is a sleeping giant. I think she is the most powerful ADC at the moment (12/30/12), even if she isn't quite played that much. She has a poke like Caitlyn's and a close range harass like Draven. Her ultimate is a monster all on it's own, she needs to be focused in a teamfight like if she where Amumu or Katarina. That being said it doesn't bother Nunu too much. Sure she can stop a consume, but you can always be smart and wait. Iceball is very effective against her. It's not really a hard counter though, but Nunu is a good choice if you can synergize with your carry.

Counters: Taric, Blitzcrank, Leona, Lux

Vs. Nami Bad Choice

It's almost like Riot made her to completely counter Nunu. She gives movement speed to help counter yours. Her Q is perfect against your ult. Her heal/poke works perfect against Nunu, because it will bounce back if he tries to poke. Her applied slow ruins you and your carries movement speed, as does her Ult. Still it's like you still can't use your blood boil and just hang out. Aggressive supports work very well. Use the cow!

Counters: Alistar, Blitzcrank, Leona

Vs Sivir Bad Choice

If your an adc and want to counter use this chick. Just be prepared to be bored out of your mind (seriously her ult is for supports). Anyways iceball give free mana to her. Your ult gives free mana and no damage. She max your blood boil and sit in the bush until laning phase is over. Leona is a good choice instead because she doesn't give much reaction time and you can still effectively assault even if she does absorb something from you.

Counters: Leona

Vs. Sona Bad Choice

I don't like to play Sona because I think she is the most defenseless, squishy and easy to catch support. At least Soraka is tanky with her heals. Anyways Sona still gives Nunu nightmares. Trading pokes always puts you behind, she has a strong enough heal to not care about silly pokes, she has her own movement buff, and her ult safely cancels yours. Since she's so squishy she's pretty easy to catch and kill, so a aggressive support works wonderful. I know even if you catch her right by her tower she will still die alot of the time.

Counters: Blitzcrank, Taric, Alistar, Zyra

Vs. Soraka Evenly matched

This is a stalemate lane for Nunu. She's gonna heal whatever poke you have, you have to wait for a gank or if they make a big mistake somewhere. Just max your blood boil and enjoy watching your carry farm, just like what Soraka will be doing.

Counters: Blitzcrank, Leona, Nami

Vs. Taric Good Choice

I think Taric is one of the best, if not the best supports. I don't play him all the time because sometimes he can be boring. Anyways Nunu is pretty good against Nunu. Your poke is still effective because Taric's heal isn't the best. If he dazzles you or your carry you have more time to move away, usually enough to make the stun useless. If he does his wombo combo on you, use your ult to counter it.

Vs. Thresh Bad Choice

I've played a couple game as Thresh against nunu. Nunu can still BB but forget poking. If you attempt to iceball anything Thresh will make you pay just by autoattacking you. He's got enough cc to safely stop your ultimate. It is also very hard to save your carry from a Thresh assault.

Counters: Alistar?

Vs. Vayne Good Choice

Nunu counters Vayne the exact same way as he counters Kog, by attacking her best attributes. Vayne will have a real tough team winning her lane, she will have to wait to be a hypercarry when you aren't around. Highly recommended to play Nunu here.

Vs. Zyra Evenly matched

There is no countering Zyra. However she doesn't counter Nunu. You don't counter her but your a good way to beat her. Consume is a good way to get rid of the plants, but it's not her plants that make support Zyra is it? Use Nunu to synergize with your AD Carry.

Counters: Lux, Fiddlesticks

Analysis

The reason I picked Nunu here was because our team first pick was Vayne. Pro tip - Never choose an ADC as a first pick in ranked. Vayne is in a bad spot right now, so I decided I needed to "save" her and my team from losing. We where against Miss Fortune and Lulu, two very annoying champs. They where beating us and we where camping under our tower until I noticed MF had no mana and we had more health. I decided to initiate and blew all my CD's at lv. 4 and our Vayne got a double kill! Vayne instantly snowballed and we where doing the bullying.

Conclusion

Nunu is a strong support. He's a mix between passive and aggressive supports. He's is one of the best scaling champs in the game. In fact he is a strong initiator late game. His biggest strength is that he can be built for or around. His versatility is only matched by his synergy with other AD carries. He is one of those supports that make a bigger impact in lane than the AD Carries do.

The guide will be continue to be updated as League of Legends is updated, along with more Nunu & Willump experience.
