This guilde will explain you how to play shaco as a jungler at the sommoners rift and how to play him as an atak damage carry at the twisted treeline
First i will explain about shaco/the runes/other stuff
Shaco deals 20% bonus damage when striking a unit from behind with his autoattacks or abilities.
this passive works realy good against enemy champions that are trying to escape
(Active): Shaco instantly blinks to a target nearby location and enters stealth for up to 3.5 seconds. His next auto-attack in the next 6 seconds will critically strike with modified critical damage (normal critical strikes are 200% damage), dealing physical damage and ending his stealth.
Cooldown: 11 seconds after exiting stealth
Cost: 90 / 80 / 70 / 60 / 50 mana
Critical Strike Damage: 160 / 180 / 200 / 220 / 240%
very good for escaping and fighting, try to use this spell smartly and think if you need it for ataking your enemy or you want to keep it for escaping.
(Active): Shaco creates a Jack in the Box at the target location with 150 health. It will stealth after 2 seconds and trigger when an enemy comes near, fearing nearby enemies briefly and attacking them. It deals magic damage, and lasts 60 seconds stealthed or 5 seconds while firing. Casting Jack In The Box breaks stealth.
Cooldown: 16 seconds
Trigger Range: 300
Sight Range: 700 (estimate)
Jack in the Box attack speed: 1.6(Attack 8 times in 5 seconds.)
Jack in the Box armor: 50
Jack in the Box magic resist: 100
Cost: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 mana
Fear Duration: 0.5 / 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 seconds
Magic Damage: 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 / 95 (+0.2 per ability power)
it is very good for the jungle, and it also can change fights and teamfight, place the box in the midle of a team fight or behind the champion you fight with. this will cause a fear to the enemies and damage.
(Passive): Shaco's attacks poison his targets, reducing their movement speed for 2 seconds. It also gives affected non-champion units a chance to miss their attacks.
Slow: 20 / 22.5 / 25 / 27.5 / 30%
Miss Chance to Non-Champion Units: 20 / 22.5 / 25 / 27.5 / 30%
(Active): Shaco throws a dagger to target enemy dealing magic damage and applying his slowing poison to them for 3 seconds. The passive is deactivated during the cooldown.
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Cost: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 mana
Magic Damage: 40 / 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 (+1.0 per ability power) (+0.5 per attack damage)
very good passive for chasing the knife do has a nice damage, but remember thet if you throw your knife you lose your passive from some time
(Active): Shaco stealths for half a second and creates a clone of himself next to him that will last for up 18 seconds. The clone deals 75% of Shaco's damage and receives 50% extra damage. This clone deals 50% damage to towers and inhibitors. At the end of its duration or when dying the clone will explode dealing magic damage to nearby enemies.
Cost: 100 mana
Leash radius: 1125
AoE radius: 250
Cooldown: 100 / 90 / 80 seconds
Magic Damage: 300 / 450 / 600 (+1.0 per ability power)
this is one of the best ultimates at the game, you can control your pet by clicking Alt and than clicking on the position you want the pet to go. remember the clone gone after 8 seconds so make sure he dies nearby some enemy champion
try to surprize your enemies by going out of stealth as 2 guys instead of 1. in thet way he wouldnt know which is the real because you came together
you can also send your clone first and the enemy will think that he is the real and you are the close
shaco dont need a leash
eazy to jungle with
has tons of damage in the late game
can escape from most of the champions
can slow enemies thet chase him by placing a box and fear them
if you are late to the blue buff you do need leash
it is very hard to kill the enemy's tanker with shaco
its pretty obvious who is the fake shaco (ultimate)
shaco jungler is good if you know how to play him right
In team fight you need to go around and kill the squishy ranged enemys (try to get the ranged carry first and than his support)
For examplein case of thet you are already in the teamfight (blue position) wait for the fight to start and try to go around the tanker and the melees with your stealth ability.
always go on stealth so the enemy wont be ready for you, he may get panic and escape even when he can kill you!
if your ultimate ready 1 second before your Q ends use your ultimate, in thet way it will be harder to track the real shaco
think trice before going in this fights, because you will not survive unless your team win the fight

does very good for any jungler because shaco has a very low amount of armor in level 1 and 12 armor from runes can reduce the damage he takes from the monsters in the jungle and it will save him time from recalling and gold from buying potions
shaco's build contain a very low amount of magic resistence and it need alot of magic resistence at the late game
Greater Quintessence of Desolation for the same reasons as the marks, you need alot of damage but you can replace this rune with [greater Quintessence of Vampirism], its your choice
for some reasons this rune is missing on mobafire but you can find him on the store
: you need exhaust to slow enemies and decrease the damage of the enemy dpses
: you Must take it, without thet spell you will not be able to jungle well
: very good spell for chasing and escaping
: very good for chasing and escaping, i prefer flash
: it works very good if you throw a knife and ignite an enemy thet is running into his torrent space, i think thet if you would use exhaust om the middle of the chase instead of ignite in the end of the chase you will catch him alot before he reaches his torrent range.
only against hard debuffers
all other spells are not an option!
as the jungler you need to gank alot (to help your teamates/feed yourself) and also level up fast enogh. follow this steps.
1: you need to get the blue first, if you will not do thet you will run out of mana fast. come as fast as posible and start spamming boxes (Jack in the box) nearby the spawn point of the blue buff kepper. he will die in seconds because of the boxes.
Important!: evrytime you fight a monster or a champion in the jungle place a jack in the box behind them to make sure they will not escape/die faster
2-3-4: kill the Wraths, Wolves and the Golems to level up and earn gold, at the end of this step you should be level 3.
5: this is the time for the first gank. make sure to go from the top brush and go out from this brush being stealth.
Important!: Do not throw your knife at the enemy you gank. if you will you will disable the slow passive. use it when you want to finish your enemy or when he uses flash.
6: the red buff isnt only damaging your enemies but also slow them, it is very important for ganks.
7-8: it is the time to help the other teamates, time for the next ganks.
9-10: by this time your buffs should end already, and you need this buffs!. go to the enemy jungle to get this buffs.
11: now its the time to start ganking and moving freely on the map.
if the enemy has a jungle you probaly would like to make him weaker and unable to gank well.
gather a teamate of your team and go as fast as posible to the enemy's blue buff. place a box-2boxes in the brush (the red square in the picture) and wait for him to come, after he came and you killed him you ca get his blue buff and back to your base with the extra gold. in thet way you left the enemy jungler without mana and in a delay of levels.
- it has life steal and also a unique passive thet gives you a20% chance to hit a minion with 400 damage, Perfect for jungler!
- you gotta buy shoes, and you need the attak speed.
- good atak speed, good critical chance, good movement speed bonus
- more attak damage!
- Great passive! and great active! its just a OP item!
- in thet stage you should get a very eazy and fast kills, and more you kill more atak you get. and also if you reach 20 stacks (very rare) you get 15% movement speed
this item has atak speed and atak damage = good for any dps, also it deals a lot of damage to enemy tankers.
its a very good item, speed you up, slow your enemies, and make your stealth surprise atak alot stronger.
more life steal, allways good.
if the enemy has alot of tankers this item can be very usefull :)

The figure that has come to be known as the Demon Jester is an enigma. No one fully agrees from whence he came, and Shaco never offers any details on his own. A popular belief is that Shaco is not of Runeterra - that he is a thing summoned from a dark and twisted world. The most plausible belief is that Shaco is an assassin for hire, left to his own lunatic devices until his services are needed. While such scuttlebutt might reassure the native inhabitants of Valoran, it seems unimaginable that such a malfeasant figure is allowed to remain at large.
Whatever the truth of his history might be, Shaco has joined the League of Legends for reasons only he knows. He is a terrifying figure, typically shunned by both his fellow champions and the media at large. Only the summoners in the Institute of War know why such a creature was allowed into the League, but most Runeterrans suspect it to be a means that allows the power that be to keep an eye on the ever-elusive Shaco. Unsurprisingly, this champion is popular in places where madness can openly reign, such as among the power-hungry summoners of Zaun and Noxus.
