Jayce will probably give you the hardest time of any champion in the game. Try to sidestep his q and stay a safe distance from him at all times.

Introduction
With the new keystone masteries, you can steal an insane advantage in lane through a keystone called Grasp of the Undying. This is the first keystone in the resolve tree, and it will steal you (for a ranged champion like Ezreal) 1.5% of you maximum health from an auto attack every 4 seconds. To put that into perspective, if you can get an auto in every 5 seconds, you'll have stolen about 18% of your healthbar from your opponent. Obviously, that's easier said than done, but I think you get what I'm trying to say.
Tank Ezreal top is my go-to counterpick against some kind of cancer pick like Nasus, Tryndamere, or just about any other melee top laner that isn't necessarily cancerous. The idea is that you exploit the fact that you're a ranged champion in a melee matchup, and have a mastery page that sets you up to outsustain your opponent, and have a kit that gives you an escape every 22 seconds or so. This gives you a natural advantage in lane.
Enemy goes in on you?
E away and kite them back.
Jungler ganks you?
E away and kite them back.
Enemy low on health and you want to kill them?
E in and kite them.
Nothing exciting is happening?
Farm normally with your q and sutoattacks and bully your opponent.
Tank Ezreal top shares a lot of the same fundamental mechanics as the classic Vayne top, or even Quinn top. Pretty much all you do is exploit your ranged vs. melee matchup, and if someone goes in on you, you just E back, or tumble back and condemn them away, or blind and punish them.
Thank you for wasting your time reading my guide on tank Ezreal top. This is overpowered, so play it. Goodbye.
