1.1 Why Thresh?

I started playing Thresh in End of Season 5. Since then hes one of my Top Favourited Supporter. He`s one of the most flexible Supporter existing. You can Carry your Team so hard with Grabbing someone, or, you can even Save your Team with Mass of Disengage with your E and R. And Especially the Lantern is so usefull in the Laning Face. To keep it Short: Thresh has not One Spell thats not Usefull, even the Passive is counting to one of the Best Existing (for Supporter). His Set is one of the Best and hes one of the Versatile Supporters and even Champion.

1.2 Who am I?

I`m a German Young Adult, im playing League since Season 3. I`m relative new in the Guide-Making Thing, but I already made an Azir Guide (Click here!)
Since the new Season I started to Main Support again.
Last Season I ended up at lower Gold Elo:

1.3 Why should I make a Guide about Him?

Because I wanna give you my Experience I gathered over the last two Years about Him. And, of course, because he`s absolutly one of my favourite Supporter. And, of Course hes also one of the Hardest Supporter to actually Master. The Hook Thing is very very Mind-based and affords a lot of Training. Also the complexe Mechanics with Lantern and Q are Extremly Usefull when you master them.

As I already said in the First Capture, Thresh is one, or maybe even the most flexible and comprehensive Champion. And, of course you have a lot of Coolness with such a "dark" Charakter. But of course that are not the only Reasons. With Thresh you are Able to Supp your Team in so many Ways! With Shields, ENgage, Disengage, and with Items, even Heal.

3.1 Pro`s

- One of the most comprehensive Champions

- Muuuuuch Carrypotential!

- Really Good Zoning Potential

- Much "free" Armor and AP thanks to the Passiv

3.2 Con`s

- Problems with Relic Shield Stack`S (See Point 7.!)

- Much Problems with Grabbing and more in some Matchups

- Realtive easy to Counter

- If you enter the fight, you wont leave it that quick -> If your Team dies, you will surely Die too!

The "new" Key Masterie Courage is quite good on Thresh, because when you actually go Full In whit your Q, you automaticly get a Shield, because of the Hard CC. Bond of Stone isn`t bad either, but Courage is much stronger on Thresh at the Moment.

As Support you have to deal with a lot of Items with Active Effects, e.g. Locket or Redemption. So its sometimes hard to activate all of them in Teamfight. So if you have the Right Keyboard and Mouse with Extrakeys, you can, for Example with Razer Synapse, make Shortcuts on them to make Things easier.

So, as you already read in the Headline, if you own a Razer Blackwidow or a similar Keyboard, you can use these Extrakeys on the Left Side for ItemShortcuts.


So as you see, I use the M5 Key for Item Slot 3 and M4 for 5 (because 4 is "just" the Trinket), Item Slot 1 and 2 are already on my Mouse:



First you maybe will feel a bit of uncomfortable, but if you get used to, it will make Things much easier!
