I've been experimenting with this build ever since I got Fizz. I finally came to the conclusion that I do well almost every time I play Fizz. This is an amazing build and I strongly encourage anybody to use it. Please use this build before you state your judgment.

Once Fizz gets all of his skills he becomes a major bully in lane. because you can lead in with Urchin Strike and activate your Seastone Trident then hop away with playful/trickster. If you really want to deal some damage you can stick around a little longer and land playful/trickster on them. Farming, as with most champions, is important. Especially if you are not doing well or not getting kills. Fizz is very item dependent!!! If you have melee people against you in lane, it is much easier to harass them than a ranged AP or carry. If there is a jungler get wards often and be cautious to go over the half-way mark of your lane.

Another goo item is Banshee's Veil

My favorite summoner spells with Fizz are:

Ignite Flash Ghostand Exhaust

I wouldn't really recommend any other summoner spells except maybe Teleport.
