After buying Statikk Shiv, your problems are solved!

Vi can be played mid and with his ability "Excessive Forse" can push the lane hitting the enemy midlaner behind the minions. In early game Vi doesn't need shoes 'cause in mid game, after buying statikk shiv, you won't have problems with movement speed.
