A MESAGE FROM ME

Im loosing the interest in upgrading this to help others if i dont get any replies, will take a break for now.

When i come back il update this :

    - Pictures/gifs in "How to hit enemy dodges" section
    - Explore when and is "Seraphs Embrance" worth it


I did a emergency edit because wrong runes and wrong items, Banshees Veil is totaly not worth for xerath anymore and the CDr scaling runes are not worth too.

-Banshees is not worth anymore because you CANT rush "Negatron Cloak" what ruins the early game and the main reason of the item.

-CDr Scaling is BAD because xerath is weakest early game and CDr is late game so flat AP is more usefull to overcome the EARLY game

Spells

-Cleanse for champions who need to stun to kill like (Twitted Fate, Syndra, Veigar...)
-Exhaust champions who make a combo on close range like (Zed, Azir...)
-Bariere for champions like (Lux, Ziggz, Karthus)
-Heal same but only if you play safer and hardly get CC-d by enemy

DONT use ignite its just.. wrong
and I dont prefer ghost because xerath is vonerable to gap closing champions the most and ghost wont help that mutch as other spells, and for attacks you have a big range, especialy your ult .. its made to finish off enemies, defend a tower of being deastroyed or to zone a enemy from escaping

Before game/First buy

WHY THIS BUILD AND MASTERIES: - well first masteries the only way you wil get thunderlord is by STUNING and then combo NO OTHER WAY and when the thunderlord would be more used (late game) Deathfire is better in late game aniways and it gives you information when you made a hit on a enemy champion in "Fog of war" by showing a red arrow like symbol to the direction of a hit enemy
- WHY not dorans ring.. well there are 2 reasons... one is that you waste too mutch mana and the other is you get the (Lost Chapter) on first recall
- Why not the CD-r why (lost Chapter) well idk is riot stupid but you cant cast spells witout manna :D especialy if you cast them more often .. lol

Ranked Play

1 First WAWE You get to lane and show that sweet lvl7 mastery.... kidding :D so when you are in lane try to Q ALL minions before minions even come so you get some pressure.
and if you are not confident with your Q where the enemy will go just Q the direction where minions are so you get them atleast. AND if you see a group of low hp minions alighn them so they are betwean you and enemy champion so you hit minions and the champion.

2 PATTERN if enemy dodges your Q-s try to find his pattern... if its a better enemy he wil change the patterns often so if you are interested what patterns people normaly use scroll down to "How to hit enemy dodges", and try not to charge your Q too far from enemy becaue he can just run out of range


3 TWO ITEM POWER SPIKE you start blue crstal so you get the next item more easy (Lost Chapter) then i go for (Ludens), i buy boots after ludens or if enemy has poke i buy the small boots before finishing (Ludens)


4 FIRST ult upgrade ... ONLY ult when enemy is in 1 ult hit and dont spam your ult take your time... if you cant win lane or enemy got no good wawe clear try to asist bot every time you have ult.


5 Reasons why i buy items in this order (Farsight Alteration)... i always forget it :D
and (Morellonomicon)... why not before ludens?... well because (Lost Chapter) gives mana on level up and (Morellonomicon) on kills or asists :)
by now you can make 55%-70% of enemy HP with combo if you stun what means your teammates can easily kill them.

6 TEAMFIGHTS: -Try to poke the enemy adc and other low hp
-IF you got lvl3 ult you can actualy only ult and help with that, but only if enemy has no fighters (This only counts for lower ELO)
-if teamfight is ON and enemy got champs what can get close to you easy ... try to keep your stun for that...

How to hit enemy dodges (PICTURES COMING SOON)

Bronce - Gold
Mainly people are not good at dodging and will go for the gut feeling and think little about dodging, especialy when you hit all your skill*****.

Q Dodges in this elo are:
COMMON - Always left, Always right, always to the closer river, continue walking

UNCOMMON - Walks the oposite way after you cast the spell, Always dodging to the center of the lane

Platinum
In low platinum there is 50/50 will the person know how to dodge but in higher divizions expect it more often

Q Dodges in this elo are:
COMMON - Runing to the closer river, Runing to the direction of your base if you get them close to a wall and they are runing away, Ignoring you and farming, runing oposite direction after you cast your Q

UNCOMMON - Runing to the direction of their base if you get them close to a wall and they are runing away, moove left-right-left-right fast and releasing the mouse after you cast your Q, Ignoring your Q and going full ham on you because they are anoyed of your Q-s :D

How to hit your ULTIMATE
-The most common type of dodging your ultimate is by walking to the direction where you are, but i recomend to press ult and spam your R direcly on enemy and try to suprise him with your first R, after that try predicting where he walks and just if he dodged backwards predict the dodge, and the last ult you throw for some reason people dont even try to dodge it but they only try to get out of your ult zone... its strange but in most situations they dont try to dodge your last ult but be carefull im still not sure is it because its last ult or its because they see the edge of my ultimate.
-Press R and try to hit a bit infront it is good for zoning if you are not so confident or the enemy is good at dodging, that way he wont run away so easy when your team tryes to katch up to him, so if you want that press R the second you activade ult on him and ONLY ult when he starts walking again.. dont do it unnececary, but after your ult comes to expire point just spam the last ults on him.

and a bonus tip, if you can get baron or drake with Q use it, DONT use ultimate... because it warns them and it has less damage than Q and when you warn them and just wait they wil just burst smite baron, but with Q they wil maby panic smite baron too early or not smite at all


While you charge your Q try to analize how the enemy moves, by me i got used to it and i know how to hit witout analising activly. well thats why im a bit worse now becuase i cant concentrate well... in lane or when enemy is alone and knows you are aming at him that is the only part where they activly try to dodge, when there are teammates close to him they wont think about it too hard even if you start hitting, unless they are in front line

this text here is not enough to lurn how to hit your Q but i tryed to put what more info into text format... :(

Overall game Warnings/TIPS

RED are WARNINGS, BLUE are TIPS

-you CANT cancel your Q so dont charge it brainlessly

-DONT get greedy and try to get mana on minions if enemy is scary, rather ward Razorbeaks and auto attack them!

-DONT play xerath if you are sleepy, for xerath you need to think alot how the enemy dodges but the enemy doesent need to think that hard to dodge. Im telling this because most games I lost is because I coud not focus well

-If a enemy comes with a gap closer DONT E him if he has 2 or if he has one gap closer but still did not use it, rather slow with W and wait him to jump and THEN stun him, because if you hit or miss its closly the same... HIT means he will be stuned short period of time because what closer you hit the stun is shorter and he can katch up to you with hes gap closer after that
and if you miss... well same situation but just you did less damage


-When you are not confident about hiting your Q get in the "Fog of war" or bush and charge it from there and hit the enemy, its a 100% chance to hit

-DONT be like other xerath palyers and charge to the max and THEN think what to hit charge the minimum ALWAYS

-If you play on locked screan like me when you hold a shillshot what is far away press "Z" or "Y" idk what is it on other keyboards.. but the most convinient position to press that is this one so put the lock on this key.
-When you go through the jungle to roam or whatever the reason is, AA jungle camps for mana (Plants and wards work too)

-IF ENEMY is good at dodging your Q get Crystal Scepter :) #No shame

-if you have a sneeky gap through enemy minions use it to hit your E, its closly a guaranteed hit

-The first dodge direction enemy uses will be used again if you Q after some time, its like the enemy brain refreshed :)

If you see your ally attacking a enemy and you ult WAIT and see will he kill him, but if he escapes then ult, if not dont... because if you cast even a single ultimate your CD will be the full cooldown, but if you dont then it will be 50% less. But if your ally might die ult and support him ofc

-if you get the enemy pattern and you OVER predict he wil probably realize it and change the pattern even if a idiot.

-if enemy is tilted try to poke them most they dont try to dodge your spells at most so its easiest to hit them

-You dont need blue after you buy lost chapter so dont ask the jungler for the blue unless its like Rengar or so because you can alow yourself to miss more Q-s and spam W too in that situation

-I HIGHLY recomend to turn "Screen Flash on damage" on because you dont look at your champion too often, your spells have long range and especialy when you ult you have no idea if someone is attacking you

Q - First spell
Arcanopulse RANGE: 750 - 1400 / 145 COST: 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 / 120 MANA COOLDOWN:9 / 8 / 7 / 6 / 5

At the end of the channel, Arcanopulse cancels and refunds half of its mana cost.

ARCANE BARRAGE - ACTIVE: Xerath calls down a blast of arcane energy to the target area which strikes after 0.5 seconds delay, dealing magic damage to all enemies within. Each cast has a static cooldown of 0.8 seconds.

Rite of the Arcane can be cancelled early by moving or attacking and automatically ends once Arcane Barrage has been cast enough times. If Rite of the Arcane ends without using a single cast of Arcane Barrage, half the cooldown is refunded. Rite of the Arcane is canceled and put on full cooldown if Xerath is affected by any crowd control that prevents or interrupts the casting of abilities.

MAGIC DAMAGE: 200 / 230 / 260 (+ 43% AP)

Pros / Cons

This is same as "Spells" i think its unnececary info but people post this even though the "Tips/Warnings" is better in my opinion

Has great range and can poke most champs out of lane.
Passive that gives mana.
Longest range kit in game what makes him a amaizing champion.


Low mobility what makes him so easy to get ganked by enemy jungler.
All abilities are skill shots.
When you ult you have no idea if enemy is attacking you.
