Yorick is a tanky DPS. In early he isn't so strong. But in Mid and Late game he gets powerful. His spells do low damage but Yorick can spam them and harass with his Omen of Famine and Nuke with Omen of War.
You must have Runes and good skill to master Yorick or you will fail.
It's important to get farm in the early game to get good Items and dominating the Mid Game.
Yorick is underpowered and not as strong as other Offtanks or champions.
And. Don't buy Manamune. It's a wasted Itemslot oh...This item sucks so much.

His main ability. His physical nuke. But its not so useful to harass enemies on the lane. In team clashes its very good and strong.


His slow. His AoE Nuke. Not very strong but the slow is good to chase enemies or to escape.


His Heal spell and range harass spell. In the lategame it does 300dmg but heals only 150 ...
But no problem he can spam it and his ghoul heals him too.


His Ultimate. Useful to get revenge from a lucker or in team clashes. It doubles the AD Carry Damage in a team clash and revives the carry if he dies. Very strong ability.

In my Build i use 13/16/1 because the is useful. Yorick is a slow Champion he needs his Ghost. The "Offensive Mastery" is very useful in the laningphase to get fast Gold and owning the enemies.
The defensive masteries are for the durability of Yorick or he will get killed fast in the teamclash.
9/21 is good for Yorick too but i prefer my mastery build.
If you want to take with you dont skill

Early:
Begin with a and a mana potion. With the you can negate the enemy harass.
After your first homeback you can buy and if you farmed well a as well.

Mid Game:
After this two Items you must rush on a for the good HP boost for your minions and it makes you unkillable on the Lane.
After the Warmog's Armor you must buy a for a Damage boost for your Spells and Minions. It makes you more dangerous.

Late Game:
Now its your choice if you got Problems with dying you can buy a or if the enemy team have much AD you can buy a .
After the last tank item you can buy a to make you even more dangerous but care you always do lower damage than the other champions.

I always take with Yorick. It's good to chase and for escaping.
is the 2nd Summoner spell. It's useful to get kills. All your ghouls can attack the target at the time and your target can't get away because and .
is a nice summoner spell too. You can flash into a team clash or you escape with it over a wall.
useful too but i think exhaust is better than this.

Greater Mark of Desolation is a good Rune for Yorick. It boots his Q hard and thats important.
But Q is still a melee Spell and its hard to get near the enemies with Yorick.

Greater Seal of Vitality boosts the HP of Yorick and makes his Minions more durable.

is very useful in the Laning Phase because Yorick needs Manaregg and always got Mana problems. Don't spam your Spells to much even Mana runes can't remove his mana problems.

is important for you Spells because they all scale with AD except the W and E they scale with added Damage.

More chapters to come. Yorick is a balanced champion but hes very underpowered. Only in the late game he can be a little ueful. He will get his buff in the next patch.
But always care Yorick sucks in the Laning Phase but he can push very well with his ghouls.
