You should have received a PM to both you and the captain of your opponent's team, which you can reply to to discuss your match. Did you not receive the PM?

So, how do we determine who starts bans first?

And also, this is a bit confusing:

Quoted:
Game Type: Custom Match | Draft Mode (1-2-2-1-1-2-2-1-1-2)
Bans: 6 (3 per team) (1-2-2-1-1-2)

Quoted:
Before champion picks Team captains have to decide on banned champions in Draft mode (1-2-2-1-1-2).

After banning teams decide on their champion picks in Draft mode (1-2-2-1-1-2-2-1-1-2).

You cannot ban 6 champions in draft mode in a custom game.. Limit is four.

I understand we are supposed to ban/select champions through PMs on Mobafire?
So whats all this deal with draft mode in custom games?

Need some clarification please, thanks.

You can do bans and picks in the chat. The draft mode you can either: Don't choose the draft mode, and just take picks and bans in the chat. Or you can take draft, do picks and bans in the chat and ban four of the already banned in chat champions.

If you do that remember to screenshot it all in case of disputes.

^This is what I gather from it all, anyways.

Sorry for the confusion, we are ironing all these issues out. That was the goal for this tournament, to flag and deal with such issues :)

For now, as Scrax said, do your bans and picks over PM. That way if the opposing team does not honor your agreed upon bans/pics, you can provide evidence of such and if necessary we can disqualify them and put you through.

^In our match we did it in the chat, then just asked "Bans confirmed?" and when the team captain on both teams accepted, we screenshot it and saved it. Did it for both bans and picks.

I think that next time, we should know a day in advance who we're facing, so we can arrange easier. This time it was a pain to arrange things during the day to finish the match last-minute, especially with teammates in different time zones.

If everyone agrees it's better, we could bump it up from 24 hours to 36 or even 48. I'd love some feedback on this - was it difficult for everyone to get it sorted in 24 hours? How much time would you guys ideally want to spend on each round?

I personally didn't find it that hard, but 36 hours sounds fair.

We decided to try 48 hours this round. We'll see how it goes. We will likely do best of 3 for each round next time, in which case having 48 hours to complete your matches makes more sense.
