Alright, my PC's temperatures are ridiculously high again. Any ideas as to why it could be? It's the same scenario as last time, only that there's no dust in the case.

The temperatures were fine until recently. It's Winter here as well, so it isn't the weather.

GPU is running at a very stable temperature. My CPU however... All cores are typically running at 95oC+. The fact that they're so hot causes my CPU usage to just spike dramatically, which in turn causes everything to run slow as fuuuuuuck.

All visible fans are running, including the one for the CPU. Would I need to ensure that any other fans are running besides that one?

Have you recently removed the heatsink from your cpu? There might not have enough thermal paste or something like that.

Check if your heatsink makes proper contact with your CPU (perhaps gotten loose?) and as mastrer said, check if the thermal paste is still good.

If you remove heatsink you have to replace thermal paste, but that's probably best to do in this case anyway. If that doesn't help at least you eliminated 1 factor that could affect it.

Replacing thermal paste shouldn't be too hard, if you are unsure or scared to do it, you should just search for "thermal paste replacing *insert your cpu fan name* ".
