I can remember this was valid few months ago. Warmogs/FM hasn't changed, so whát made Warmogs so viable all of a sudden? x)

Ive always loved warmogs, tho :p

When combined with an Atma's Impaler, it becomes significantly better

1370 HP for 3000 gold is pretty dayumn cost effective~

This is the single wrongest piece of misinformation ever conceived :P

Warmogg's is the best survivability item in game for 95% of champs/scenarios~

I think what many people need to realize is that at a certain point, buying more armor and magic resistance isn't as effective as buying more HP. Warmog's isn't a bad item, it's just not as effective of atank item if you can't back it up with some resistances. As far as Frozen Mallet vs. Trinity Force goes, it really depends on the character. I would normally take frozen mallet over trinity any day on master yi, because you can't spam your abilities with him unless you get a few kills with highlander active (to reset your cooldowns). Frozen mallet however keeps them in range longer for your auto attacks, which if you're building AD carry or tanky DPS should hurt more then a couple trinity procs anyways. Reliable slow > Unreliable slow + proc for my playstyle. If you're going off-tank yi I would think that trinity would be the better choice however. It really comes down to the situation, playstyle, and just personal preference.

What happened to: Getting the pure, sole stat (not counting HP/reg) partially on 2 items?
FM + BV for example? (Ofc you have to need those "extra" stats, too)

Maybe its obivious, but dont forget the rare cases champs are able to get both: Lich Bane or TF.

You can do that, you just won't be as sturdy~

If an AD carry wants to carry hard, they're not gonna be buying stuff like Hexdrinker and Wit's end. They're gonna have Infinity Edge and real carry items, PD, etc.

Infinity Edge is at the core of that.

If a tank wants to tank hard, they're gonna buy Warmogg's, not stuff that's half tanky with utility.

You can ALSO buy the Frozen Mallet if you'd like, but Warmogg's gives twice the HP. FM is not a substitute for WM's, it can't match the survivability. Nothing can, really. That's why I compare Warmogg's to I.E. Warmogg's is the I.E. of tanking.

Your previous attack doesn't effect your next attacks chance of landing a slow proc. Sure, you will usually land it 25% of the time, but if you miss a proc, your next attack still just has a 25% chance. You could land the slow proc 3 hits in a row, or hit 10 times and not land it.
