suggesting to use Teleport as a quick mana refill is a waste of map presence. you should try Clarity for that.

Sense? You can use Teleport for both sustain and map presence, Clarity only for mana sustain. This leads to that Teleport is infinitely better than Clarity.

Poppy was extremely strong before and seems even stronger with the new Trinity Force. Many top laners that countered her to a degree got nerfed too.

I mean come on, pretty much all of her kit is made out of best skills in the game.

Her only weakness is her inability to push. Is that really a weakness though? She can keep the minion wave on her side of the lane so easily. I mean, the enemy can't towerdive or out-trade her anyways.

Right now I build her like this:

Attack Damage Reds and Quints, Armor Yellows and MR blues with 9/21/0 masteries. I prefer attack damage because it helps her CS under the tower, while 21 in def makes her too tanky for the enemy to handle.

I start with whatever counters the enemy laner, then build philosopher's stone > tier 2 boots > Trinity Force > Hextech Gunblade > Guardian Angel. The remainder of the build is situational.

On an unrelated note, I think I'm starting to feel the same way about Poppy as Vapora does about Talon. >_>


shame she runs oom after using a few skills which makes her garbage even with all the trifoce buffs. /thread

She can only run out of mana quickly early on if she spams all of her spells. Why on earth would you use anything but Q at that stage of the game though? O_O

I mean, maybe I'm wrong but it looks like Poppy can out-trade any (melee at least) champion with AA + Devastating Blow. So just use that whenether the enemy trades with you and farm.

Good luck surviving philosopher's stone + Sheen Poppy till she runs oom.

I tell you why Poppy is still (very/uber/ban-and-nerf-worthy) strong:

people that play LeBlanc (or other burst reliant champion) and that probably have no idea or have never seen Poppy before, use their complete burst on one... and then proceed to be gibbed.

oh wait, i shall rush myself back to lane uber fast and waste 300 secons (5 minutes, plis) by being completely unable to make a gamechanging play. U want dragon? Shame I have to recall and walk to river. Botlane getting ganked? Let them die, there is no way they'd need any help.

I don't play Poppy so maybe i will say something very stupid but.. What about a Doran's Ring start, with 2 blue potions? Her Q procs with AP so it is some damage more, you get mana while farming and you also have mana regen.. Could it be ok or i can't see the weakness in it?
