Here's a Link to my Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiQmCXYvJcRy5cQYoRUYgfg/videos. Thank You for taking time to read this guide, i'd appreciate any feedback you have to offer! :)

Masteries

Ferocity Tree:

Take Fury over Sorcery for obvious reasons. I prefer Fresh Blood over Feast for a little bit of extra damage. Natural Talent over Vampirism for more damage also. Battle Trance because its a happy medium, Double Edged Sword causes you to take more damage which is a big no no, Bounty Hunter requires you to get kills for more damage which wont really happen until mid-late game.

Cunning:

Savagery over Wanderer , Secret Stash over Assassin as you shouldn't be split from your team to fight enemy's anyway. Merciless over Meditation for extra damage on low enemy's. Dangerous Game over Greenfather's Gift and Bandit because I feel it's overall better for Kog'Maw. Precision over Intelligence because you don't need Cooldown reduction on Kog'Maw. Stormraider's Surge beats out Thunderlord's Decree for Kog'Maw in my opinion.

Keystone:

For Kog'Maw the choice is up to you, I prefer Stormraider's Surge over Warlord's Bloodlust and Fervor of Battle .

Runes

Recommended Runes:
Greater Seal of Armor: Helps with laning phase.
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist: Helps against AP supports.
Greater Mark of Attack Damage: You're the AD, you need damage.
Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed: Helps stack your RageBlade and get more hits with your W.

Not recommended Runes:

Greater Mark of Lethality: You don't need Lethality on Kog'Maw.
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: Waste of Quints on Kog'Maw.
Greater Glyph of Attack Speed: Same as above.
Greater Seal of Attack Speed: Same as above.

Why max Q second and E last?

Caustic Spittle offers attack speed as well as a resistance shred, the attack speed also helps you get Stormraider's Surge off too making the slow on Void Ooze unnecessary. I would max out Void Ooze if you go Warlord's Bloodlust or Fervor of Battle .

Trinity Force vs Rageblade

Why Rageblade over Tri Force

In my opinion you do not need Trinity Force on Kog'Maw, I highly prefer Guinsoo's Rageblade in place of the Tri. Guinsoo's Rageblade offers 50 AP, 35 AD, 25% Attack Speed and 15 Magic Damage on-hit. a fully stacked Guinsoo's Rageblade offers +73% attack speed, +53 attack damage, +74 ability power, and 15 bonus Magic Damage on-hit, as well as triggering on-hit effects an additional time every other auto. The stats and effects of the Trinity Force are no match for the Guinsoo's Rageblade stats.
