Hey, you asked for a review a while back so here it is. Sorry it took a while, we've had more requests than we expected and I haven't been able to review a lot recently.

I'll just go by the 4 things that we look at when reviewing and say whatever I have to say ^^

Viability/Content

First major issue. You mention that you often jungle Amumu and I think there can be no doubt whatsoever that that is the best way to play him. Sure, this build may have worked for you in bottom lane and you may have had good games, but is it really a viable choice? What would make someone pick Amumu over all the supports you can choose from nowadays (especially since the Heal buff made some rather unconventional supports like Leona and Blitzcrank even better choices)? What does he offer in lane that they don't, what does he do in teamfights that they don't?
The only high-rated guide on lane Amumu I've seen is him laning top and I honestly don't see how he would be able to lane bot.

In my opinion, there are two things you can do:
  • Change the guide to a jungling guide since that is the way you play him now
  • Keep this idea, but do more research. When is the last time you have played bottom lane Amumu yourself? If you can write a section on what his strengths and weaknesses are and provide players with a good overall view of why bottom lane Amumu isn't necessarily a bad pick, who knows, people might try it. Right now, I'm not convinced at all and I think the same can be said for others. So you had some good games with him, but what does that tell me? Were you level 30 when you played those games, did you face competent enemies who had viable picks in terms of the champions they played?

As for some comments based on your choice of items, runes, masteries etc. and the content of the guide itself:
  • Masteries. 0/30/0. Really bad :|
There's no need to have more than 21 points in any tree and I think doing this is really a waste. You acknowledge that you have mana issues but don't take the extra mana from Expanded Mind and mana regen from Meditation , even though Meditation alone already give you 3 mana per 5 seconds. Right now, using 9x Greater Seal of Replenishment gives you ~3.7 mana per 5 seconds, those 3 mastery points are actually quite strong as you can see :P ;)
Go for 0/21/9 or a support setup like 0/9/21 (which also gives you extra gold via Greed , more experience through Awareness etc.).
  • Runes. I understand you need mana regen, but I think getting the other masteries might enable you to replace the mana regen seals with armor seals and getting standard magic penetration marks. I'm also not sure why you'd use flat magic resistance glyphs instead of magic resist per level glyphs which are much better for your tankiness overall.
  • Summoner Spells. With the recent buff, Heal is definitely not a bad choice, especially for a champion that doesn't have any heals of his own. Teleport, however, is a summoner spell I feel you do not need. I know the guide says basically any summoner spell would work together with Heal, but I feel there are two that are really better than the other options:
    • Flash. Great for ult positioning, getting out of trouble if you find yourself out of position (sort of 'free ticket out of jail') or even flashing in range to Tantrum or Bandage Toss someone if it's needed. I would definitely get this, mainly for the ult positioning.
    • Clairvoyance. May have been nerfed, but is still something a bot lane support (which Amumu would be in your case) would get.
Also, Rally has been removed from the game, so the section needs an update anyway.
  • Your build has a lack of cooldown reduction. You say that you recommend players to get blue whenever that is possible, but in reality it won't be possible 99 times out of 100. The mid laner (AP carry) gets it, and if not some junglers (like Malphite, Fiddlesticks, Shaco or Amumu himself, ironically enough) can actually make good use of it as well. I suggest either getting Frozen Heart (which gives a lot of mana as well, which is certainly useful) or upgrading your Philosopher's Stone and building Shurelya's Battlesong.
  • I'll give you my thoughts on your 'Afterthoughts' section:
    • Leviathan is useless and not worth even considering to buy. The cost-efficiency is by far the worst of the 3 snowball items ( Mejai's Soulstealer and Sword of the Occult obviously being the other 2) and it's only really great once you have 20 stacks (which is not really realistic)
    • Banshee's Veil is not bad, but I would definitely prefer Force of Nature for the added movement speed and health regen. Not a bad choice though.

Spelling/Grammar

This may have been written while you were very tired but it's been there since the 22d of May so that should really have been enough time to fix errors. However, I found some so I'll list them here (you can Ctrl + F to find them):
  • Title: Agressive --> Aggressive
  • Even then, if you don't have manage when you use your E, you'll still run out of mana --> manage should be something like mana management
  • Masteries section: Not a spelling mistake, but still needs updating. Completely wrong, describing the 0/21/9 masteries from season 1 atm
  • I play an agressive early game --> aggressive
  • Almost spells will work here --> replace spells by any spell
  • will allow there escape --> their
  • Eveyone's going to be hitting you --> Everyone

Visual Appearance

You make good use of lists, but there are certainly some other things you can use to improve the overall appearance of the guide:
  • Use the following codes in your 'Runes', 'Masteries' and 'Skill Sequence' section:
    Code:
    [runes]
    Code:
    [masteries]
    Code:
    [abilities]

Those will display your runes, masteries and skill sequence in a nice way ^^ (not everyone likes how that looks, just test it)
  • Use icons with a different size. This would especially look good in your 'Items' section and 'Summoner Spells' section where you can icons at the top of the section to display your full build or the two spells you choose, for example.
  • Try to use more colours or italic and bold text for emphasis.

Depth

First of all I think the order of the chapters you have right now should be changed slightly. Place your 'Summoner Spells' after your 'Runes' and 'Masteries' section and your 'Skill Sequence' section right after that (before your 'Items' section).

Some basic sections I think you're missing are:
  • Pros/Cons: a basic section describing some of his strengths and weaknesses
  • Why play Amumu bot: As I said, I'm not sure why someone would pick Amumu as a bot lane support and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one, you need a separate section to explain this
  • Abilities: before describing the sequence, make a section about what abilities he has and what they do (just as basic information). You can also include useful tips & tricks in that section (like using Bandage Toss on jungle creeps to escape)
  • Alternative items: There are way more items that you don't mention that I often see on Amumu. Whether it's support items like Shurelya's Battlesong or Soul Shroud, offtank items like Abyssal Mask, Rylai's Crystal Scepter and Sunfire Aegis or full-ap items like Rabadon's Deathcap, they should all be discussed.

You should also list more alternatives in terms of runes and masteries.
If you want even more depth, you can explain how to play with certain carries or against certain carries/supports you'll often face.

Hope that helps, good luck on further improving the guide ^^

The only real problem with that is that tanks are completely situational. If they don't have an AD characters on their team, and you buy armor, it's completely pointless. That's why I didn't recommend more than the core and what are some of the best Armor and Magic Resist items.

You only show 4 complete items in your at-a-glance, since we will most likely be selling the second HoG and Doran's Shield and replacing it for something else, perhaps you could add in suggestions for what to replace these with.

Otherwise, not a bad guide, I understand it is late and there are some things you may need to tweak :D

If you're going to comment and rate a guide, maybe you should try it first. This build has worked for me countless times, so the build can't be that bad.

I mean, really, my starting items are the only thing you're supposed to follow to the letter. You can get whatever tank items you want, those are just my recommendations for early game.

Also, if you're going to criticize something, at least make it constructive. "You need to get more health" is a thousand times more helpful than "This build's bad," and you're apparently trying to help, since you bothered to comment and vote.
