Hello Guys,this is my second build here on mobafire and it's about the champion Cassiopeia!

This guide's purpose is to teach you how to build and understand the misunderstood AP carry.

Pros:

Great harassing potential in lane
Good farming abilities
High damage output
No Mana problems
Solo lane master

Cons:

Very squishy
need Aim
squishy
and btw. she is squishy !

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration 9 x +0.95 magic penetration
Greater Seal of Replenishment 9 x +0.41 mana regen / 5 sec
Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power 9 x +0.17 ability power per level
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power 2 x +4.95 ability power Greater Quintessence of Health 1 x + 26 health

I think this is the ideal runebook for an AP carry.
Maybe try some Magic penetration runes or flat AP runes for early dominance.
Play some games and find out which runes are for your playstyle the best ;)

I think Flash is really important on Cassiopeia.Flash can get you out of some sticky situations but you can play very aggresiv with this Summoner Spell too.Flash + Ult = free kill!

Ignite will help you with annoying champions like Swain or Fiddlestick ;) and it's very strong with Cassiopeias poison

Exhaust Not needed but if u think it's better then ignite - take it ;) It's a really good spell on Cassiopeia too.

Clarity NO NO NO - plz DON'T !

Ghost hmmm...u have flash already so don't take it.

Teleport hmm if u like it but i think it's better for other champions

Starting Items
I always start with a Doran's Ring
Not my style ..
Boots + 3 x Health Potion ..and i think it's unnecessary because you gain extra movement speed when u hit a champion with Noxious Blast

Early Game
Buy Boots and a second Doran's Ring and always think about Elixir of Brilliance ;)
I dont recommend Catalyst the Protector because it doesn't give you Ability Power and you want to dominate Early Game.This item will only slow you from buying Rabadon's.

Mid Game
Rabadon's Deathcap and Sorcerer's Shoes !! Now you should be the worst nightmare of your enemies..I always get these items at arround 15-18 minutes.

Late Game
Rylai's Crystal Scepter gives you survivability,and with the passive of this item,nobody will be able to run away from you.
Void Staff + 40% Magic Penetration what more can I say :)
Will of the Ancients Try it.. I think u will like it.It's good for pushing lanes after a teamfight
Buy a Banshee's Veil if you get focused or buy Guardian Angel if u think Banshee's
won't provide you enough.

Other Items___________________________________________________________________________________
Archangel's Staff...not worth the money
Mejai's Soulstealer If u think u can stack it up BUY IT.
Rod of Ages is a great Item but i don't really like it :/ Better buy a Rabadon's and dominate the game !!
Abyssal Mask If you need more magic resist and magic penetration...but i think this item is for Fiddle not for Cassi
