Introduction

So hi!, today i woke up and i decided to make a short and simple, but very effective build about the newest champ in the league, Darius. But, I have to say that this champ will get, and needs a nerf very quickly, his ultimate is reaaaaaaally annoying (Noxian Guillotine), but it feels really good when you kill an enemy with it :D

Runes

For a high damage I recommend this ones:

Marks:

Greater Mark of Strength For a little more damage.

Seals

Greater Seal of Resilence For some early game armor.

Glyphs

Greater Glyph of Shielding For high late game resistance against AP casters.

Quintessences

Greater Quintessence of Strength For even more Damage !

This runes are the best ones you can get for Darius, as a solo top, he doesnt need armor penetration, he still has his E(Apprehend) that it gives at level 5 25% of armor penetration(LOT)

Masteries

As you saw, I always run 21/9/0 on masteries for more resistance and health, if you go 21/0/9 you can get more speed, what is always good on a champ.

Pros / Cons

Pros:

- Great Farmer.
- 'Gap Closer'.
- Can do lots of damage.
- True damage.
- Has an axe.

Cons:

- Weak Against high-sustain champs.
- Will get a nerf soon u.u
- No escape mechanism.
- Has an horrible laugh.

Items

In early game I always start with Boots of Speed and 3 Health Potion
Starting with Dorans Blade is viable too, but I prefer boots for better scape from ganks and all that ****.
In mid game i always get Mercury Treads or Ninja Tabi (boots depends on the other team), Wriggle Lantern, Frozen Mallet, and Hexdrinker, with this items you get a lot of damage and survability.

In late game your build should be complete and it should look like this:

The Bloodthirster (Was a Wriggles Lantern)

Maw of Malmortius

Atma Impaler

Guardian Angel.

Optional Items

Warmogs Armor:

This item gives tons of HP and more survability, exchange for Frozen Mallet.

Trinity Force:

Gives health, mana, crit chance, movement speed, and very good passive on Darius, exchange for Frozen Mallet

Last Whisper:

If you are fed and greedy, you can get this item for a total of 75% of armor penetration in late game (E + Masteries + Item), Exchange for Guardian Angel

Thronmail:

Good against heavy autoattackers, exchange it for Guardian Angel

Force of Nature:

Good against heavy AP nukers + Maw of Malmortius shield, you will be k, exchange it for Guardian Angel

Summoner Spells

Flash

and

Ignite

are the best options for me, Escape mechanism and secure kills.

Other options

Exhaust

: This is always good for securing a kill, help your jungle making better ganks, and you can use it to escape too.

Ghost

: I prefer flash instead of this spell cuz ghost only gives speed, any cc can make this spell useless.

Summary

Well, if you follow the main build you should end with this stats:

HP: 2900
Mana: 875
Atk Speed: 1,0
Damage: 350
Armor: 210
MR: 180
Mov. Speed: 385

Remember that mobafire build maker doesnt count Atma Impaler and Bloodthirster Stacks damage.
