Introduction

Hello, I'm Dezhawk. I would like to introduce you my new Sivir guide! After more than 100 games, I fell like I know some information, some of you might not know. Normally I wouldn't say my tips and secrets, but Sivir is such an overpowered champion, so lets start this guide!

Lore

The beautiful and deadly champion known as Sivir has been a favorite of League summoners since the first days. A soldier-for-hire outside of the Fields of Justice, she is the embodiment of a highly successful mercenary on modern day Runeterra. Sivir has little interest in the cribbage sheets - as she calls them - of League influence bartering. Instead, she is motivated by material wealth and riches, and she is paid handsomely for her services. Sivir is one of the wealthiest individuals found anywhere on Valoran. Sivir owns multiple residences in a number of different city-states, as well as ownership stakes in a number of businesses all across Valoran. Her detractors, either envious of her success or acrimonious of her flexible morality, have begun to use Sivir as a symbol of what is wrong with the mercenary nature of the League. Sivir dismisses her critics, saying that while her personal code of ethics is less ruthless than her competitors, "Everyone has a price".
Sivir has earned many titles and accolades throughout her illustrious career, but the one she held until recently was "Battle Mistress of Noxus". Now she is simply known as "The Battle Mistress" after breaking her contract with the Noxian High Command. Sivir dared to object to the Noxian war against the peaceful island state of Ionia, though less about the morality of the issue than the planning behind it; her predictions of a bloody stalemate came true when the Ionians held off the relentless assaults of the Noxians. Claiming that the Noxian High Command had lost its direction, she left Noxus and made her services available to the Institute of War. The Noxian High Command has sent a number of contracted assassins to deal with its rogue mercenary, but none have delivered her or survived.

"Time and time again, Sivir proves that she has earned the right to call herself; The Battle Mistress" Jax

Ability details

Fleet of Foot (Passive): Sivir gains 50 movement speed for 2 seconds when she lands a basic attack on an enemy champion.

Information about Fleet of Foot: Fleet of Foot is a passive ability. When one of Sivir's autoattack hit an enemy champion, she gains a flat amount of bonus movement speed for 2 seconds. Hitting a champion again refreshes the duration.
Attacks enhanced by Ricochet will also grant Sivir the speed buff upon impacting the main target.
Ricochet hits on secondary targets do not grant or refresh the speed buff.

Boomerang Blade: Sivir hurls her crossblade like a boomerang, dealing physical damage to enemies it hits, with 20% reduced damage to each subsequent target, down to a minimum of 40%.
Cooldown: 9 seconds
Range: 1000
Cost: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 mana
Physical Damage: 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+1.1 per bonus attack damage) (+0.5 per ability power)

Information about Boomerang Blade: Boomerang Blade is a pass-through linear skillshot that fires a crossblade in the target direction. Enemy units hit take physical damage. Every enemy hit beyond the first will receive reduced damage down to a cap. Upon reaching its maximum range, the projectile returns to Sivir, dealing physical damage to all enemies hit.
[Boomerang Blade]] procs spell vamp and Rylai's Crystal Scepter's slow similarly with all multi target spells and abilities with diminished effect.
Boomerang Blade pops spell shield.
Boomerang Blade will not damage Black Shield.
Boomerang Blade's damage reduction applies to both the cast and return damage inclusively.
Boomerang Blade can only hit a specific enemy unit twice; once on the initial cast, and once on the return.
Sivir may alter the crossblade's return path by moving while the projectile is in flight.
Boomerang Blade persists if Sivir dies, travelling and dealing damage

Ricochet: Sivir's next autoattack deals additional physical damage and bounces to 5 additional targets, dealing 20% less damage with each bounce. Only the first hit procs item effects like Black Cleaver, Frozen Mallet etc.
Cost: 40 mana
Bounce range: 450
Cooldown: 7 / 6 / 5 / 4 / 3 seconds
Additional Physical Damage: 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80

Spell Shield: Creates a magical barrier that lasts up to 3 seconds which blocks a single enemy ability used on Sivir. If an ability is blocked by the shield, Sivir regains 150 mana.
Cost: 75 mana
Cooldown: 22 / 19 / 16 / 13 / 10 seconds

Information about Spell Shield: Spell Shield is a self-target ability that applies a spell shield on Sivir for up to 3 seconds. If the shield is popped by an ability, Sivir gains 150 mana.
Spell Shield has no cast time and does not interrupt Sivir's previous orders.
Spell shields do not have any priority order. Therefore, if Sivir has both her own Spell Shield active at the same time as Banshee's Veil, an ability will pop both shields simultaneously.
Sivir can get free mana because of Caitlyn's Yordle Snap Trap and Nidalee's Bushwack, by activating Spell Shield, and walk on the trap.

On The Hunt: Grants Sivir bonus attack speed and a 20% movement speed boost for 10 seconds. Its aura also grants all nearby allies half the attack speed bonus and the full movement speed bonus, even if they do not remain in range of Sivir, for the full duration of 10s.
Cost: 100 mana
Range: 1000
Self Attack Speed Bonus: 30 / 45 / 60 %
Ally Attack Speed Bonus: 15 / 22.5 / 30 %
Cooldown: 100 / 90 / 80 seconds

Information about On The Hunt: On The Hunt is a point-blank area of effect ability that grants Sivir increased attack speed and movement speed for 10 seconds. While On The Hunt persists, allied units near Sivir gain half of her attack speed bonus and the full movement speed bonus.
Although On The Hunt's animation is similar to an aura, mechanically it is not one as the allied bonuses persist even if a buffed unit moves out of range of Sivir

Supports doing well with Sivir

TARIC

In my opinion, Taric is the best support to Sivir.
Everytime Taric uses Dazzle on enemy champion, Sivir can use Boomerang Blade them easily without missing.
Both Sivir's and Taric's ultimates gives aura's:

Taric's:

Taric slams the ground dealing magic damage to nearby enemies. For the next 10 seconds, Taric gains increased attack damage and ability power and receives an aura that grants nearby allied champions half the bonuses.

Sivir's:

Grants Sivir bonus attack speed and a 20% movement speed boost for 10 seconds. Its aura also grants all nearby allies half the attack speed bonus and the full movement speed bonus, even if they do not remain in range of Sivir, for the remaining duration.

Self Attack Speed Bonus: 30 / 45 / 60 %
Ally Attack Speed Bonus: 15 / 22.5 / 30 %

If you compare both of these ultimates at the same time all you're team will get beneficial stats:

Attackspeed.
Movement speed.
Attack damage.
Ability power.

BLITZCRANK

Blitzcrank and Sivir is a really great combo, especially early game.
Blitzcrank uses his Rocket Grab, Power Fist and then Static Field
While he does the combo, you just On The Hunt, Boomerang Blade and Ricochet

This often is a sure kill.

Skill usage

During the laning phase, you can harass enemy champions with Boomerang Blade to put pressure on them. Successful hits will force them to play safer and get zoned out. However, the mana cost of this playstyle is extremely high, due to Sivir's small mana pool.
Boomerang Blade returns to her after reaching the max range, so you can move your own position to hit enemies who would otherwise have evaded it.
The damage of Boomerang Blade tends to fall off somewhat later in the game compared to Sivir's autoattacks. However, it is still useful for its greater range than your autoattacks, being used as AoE damage against multiple enemies, and an enemy dodging is it not necessarily a disadvantage since moving leaves them unable to respond to your autoattacks.
Boomerang Blade reaches a little farther than the hit-box. However the double hit is confined to the hit-box.
Boomerang Blade can be used to check for enemy champions in the brush, due to its slicing sound when it hits an enemy unit/champion.
As Boomerang Blade deals less damage with each enemy hit, try to hit champions without hitting minions.
You can do this by waiting until a wave clears, or when they are chasing or running in a straight line.
Given enough attack damage, Boomerang Blade and Ricochet can quickly kill a whole wave of minions.
Ricochet is a cheap tool for harassment. Try to hit enemy champions with it directly after an auto attack, or last hit creeps with a Ricochet when there are less then 5 minions and the enemy is close to the wave.
Ricochet resets your attack timer (similarly to Nasus' Siphoning Strike), making it effective to auto-attack and just as the projectile starts flying, use Ricochet.
Getting at least one rank of Spell Shield early is very helpful, as with a bit of practice you will be able to use Spell Shield to negate spells, such as Cassiopeia's Petrifying Gaze or Veigar's Event Horizon. With experience you can avoid damage/crowd control/death and recover mana in the process.
Spell Shield is strong when laning against mage champions, particularly ones with delayed damage spells, as it allows you to regenerate mana fairly often. It can also heavily mess up combo-reliant mages.
Spell Shield has a long cooldown when it's still rank 1, so use it wisely during early game. Because when using Spell Shield to regain mana, you are vulnerable to crowd control effect.
On The Hunt and Spell Shield can be used for escaping in a pinch.
The attack speed and movement speed bonuses of On The Hunt work very well on autoattacking-reliant champions - try to put such allies

Playing Sivir

Playing Sivir at her fullest potencial you should use her as a pusher/backdooring as Sivir is one of the best pushers in the game. I do recommend to take Teleport
At full build, you can get and single tower down with 3 minions behind you.
Use On The Hunt while pushing towers.
Ricochet has a exceptionally low cooldown at max rank, so if you buy some cooldown reduction too you can spam it all the time, and it does extra damage on turrets.

Build usage and suggestions.

Using Frozen Mallet, Phage or Trinity Force together with On The Hunt keeps your targets from escaping. These items are also effective because Sivir has no natural form of crowd control. Getting a Phage early gives you some much needed CC and gets you started on the more expensive Frozen Mallet or Trinity Force.
Since the Ricochet bounces are affected by armor penetration, items like Last Whisper will increase your DPS.
Getting a Banshee's Veil will allow you to block 2 consecutive spells thanks to Spell Shield.
Be aware however that activating Spell Shield while Banshee's Veil is up will cause both shields to pop when hit by an ability.
Consider buying a Trinity Force on Sivir since Ricochet has a very low cooldown and applies Trinity Force proc on the first target hit.
Trinity Force in tandem with Phantom Dancer will grant massive movement speed, attack speed, and crit. Coupled with a Infinity Edge, the damage from just autoattacking while hitting Ricochet can put out massive single target damage.
Bloodthirster stacks can be gained easily, thanks to Sivir's high farming capabilities.
Most ranged AD carry champions tend to rush Infinity Edge, but due to Sivir's short range, buying The Bloodthirster first instead is probably better.
An early Manamune can help you with mana problems. Building it will lower your dps though.

Situational items

Very nice item, with large health, a decent amount of attack damage and awesome passive that slows when ever you hit an enemy.

Awesome item, if enemy team is stacking armor. Got some good attack damage, and a great potion of armor penetration, so Amumu will cry!

Great item, with a great amount of attack speed and attack damage, and a armor-debuff, that if you hit them, they got they're armor reduced by 15/30/45.

Good counter if they have alot off CC, or Malzahar's Nether Grasp, Skarner's Impale, Mordekaiser's Children of the Grave, Exhaust and Ignite etc.

If they're team ap-based, or is focusing you alot, this item can interrupt their combo's, like Veigar's sick and deadly combo, or LeBlanc's combo with sick nuking power.

Very good item to counter tanky characters like Alistar
I would recommend this if the enemy team is stacking hp, and lacking magic resist.

Send me a PM if you want me to do another guide, and please thumbs up if you liked it.
If you LOVED it suggest it for other Sivir players.
If you downvote, please tell me in comments so I can make the guide better.
I've been putting alot of effort on this, and used 5-6 hours to write everything down.
I'd would also love to get constructive feedback.
