Introduction
I feel the optimal way to play Dominion is to turn every Champion into a pseudo- bruiser. This means stacking health and their primary damage stat, so for this guide that means ability power.
In this guide I will show you how to build a very resilient Warwick that relies on his high health and damage from Hungering Strike along with utility from Blood Scent to become the unofficial warden of The Crystal Scar!
Let's get stared~
Runes
In my experience the most troublesome champions for Warwick, especially early on, are Melee AD Carry Champions. Beefing him up with some armor will definitely soften the blow early on.
Magic Penetration Marks and Glyphs to make up for the missing Greater Quintessence of Magic Penetration which have been replaced by Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed for the enhanced mobility which is everything in Dominion in my opinion.
As stated above, I believe mobility is everything in Dominion.
STARTING OUT
Pretty Straight Forward, Heath, CDR, Movement Speed. The Boots coupled with the Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed, Wanderer , Nimble , and Blood Scent will make you a nightmare for the initial top rush.CORE
This is your baseline for damage; Warwick's Hungering Strike will turn up the pressure and keep you sustained through fights and the debuff from Blackfire Torch will make people think twice before engaging you at all which is what you want when you're defending/pushing top.I generally build Sorcerer's Shoes first for the movement and so that when I build Blackfire Torch I can build Haunting Guise last, since I already have a generous amount of Magic Penetration from my Marks, Glyphs, and Sorcerer's Shoes. Also, high mobility this early in Dominion sets the tone for the entire game, and Warwick's a champion that can prioritize movement first and still be very effective during fights.
Spirit Visage is a large part of what makes Warwick's sustain viable on this map. It's a flat 20% increased heal for Hungering Strike and Eternal Thirst. It also has 2 key ingredients of the build as a whole built into it, health and CDR.
When building Blackfire Torch I give Kage's Lucky Pick priority over Haunting Guise for the gold boost, to build Blackfire Torch faster. I give Fiendish Codex priority over Haunting Guise for the CDR.
I love Blackfire Torch on Warwick because it's like adding an extra Ignite to every Hungering Strike. Infinite Duress+ Hungering Strike+ Blackfire Torch= Instantly dropping your opponent to under 50% health almost every time, therefore activating Blood Scent and securing a kill.
Final Item Choices
These can be done in any order and are completely situational.
-
Does the enemy team keep getting away from you?
-
Do you need more bulk?
-
Enemy team too tanky or do you feel you don't do enough damage?
I max Hungering Strike first, for this build it's Warwick's primary source of sustain and damage.
Followed by Blood Scent. Blood Scent is a strong ability in Dominion because of the size and shape of the map, once it's maxed you can pick up the speed buff from almost anywhere in the map if anyone on the enemy team is below 50% health.
Finally Hunter's Call giving priority to Infinite Duress above everything else.

UtilityTier 1Improved Recall for again, enhanced speed/mobility. 1 point in Meditation as a filler for tier 2. Tier 2There are no wards in Dominion so that rules out Scout . With the health packs on the map mana is never an issue so I skip Expanded Mind . Also the build contains no on-use items so I skip Artificer . Tier 3Runic Affinity is very important to dominion because of the shrines. The speed buff from the shrines coupled with Runic Affinity will last well into fights, keeping you from getting kited and also securing kills or helping you get away, easily making this and offensive and defensive mastery. Vampirism is a great choice because by the time you finish your core build, Vampirism and Spirit Visage give you a whopping 23% increase in your healing from Hungering Strike. Biscuiteer is taken for filler and so we can access Explorer in tier 4 for the extra starting gold. Tier 4Awareness is skipped due to preference, Dominion is a fast paced game mode, you're going to be leveling up fast enough as it is, and Warwick isn't really dependent on his Ult for Damage/Survivability with this build, it's purely for utility, I.E. chaining with Hungering Strike to stun your opponent until the cool-down on Hungering Strike is over for better sustain. Strength of Spirit is skipped because we're stacking Health and Ability Power, the build doesn't provide enough Mana to make the mastery viable. Explorer is taken for the extra starting gold. Tier 5Pickpocket is too random and active to be a viable source of gold in my opinion. Intelligence is ignored because we get CDR capped from 2 of the core items in the build, Spirit Visage and Blackfire Torch. Tier 6 |

OffenseTier 1Fury because we're already CDR Capped with Spirit Visage and Blackfire Torch. Tier 2Tier 3 |
