Due to Dr. Mundo's passive Goes Where He Pleases he has some of the best sustain in the game right now and after lv6 with Goes Where He Pleases and Maximum Dosage you are pretty much un-gankable. When late game comes you just stick to the enemy carries during team fights and pop you Maximum Dosage when you get low you become a nightmare to the enemy team. Due to your Blunt Force Trauma, Maximum Dosage, and Goes Where He Pleases scaling off your health if you stack as much health as possible you cant be killed and your damage output is still really good. |

Dr. Mundo is an amazing champion but like all champs he has some cons the first one being he his damage scales with health witch is great but if someone builds a Blade of the Ruined King it takes a chunk out of your health and another problem is Ignite is a big counter to Dr. Mundo and its one of the most popular summoner spells so theirs almost no way of getting away from it. Another problem with Dr. Mundo is with Infected Bonesaw being a big portion of his damage in team fights there extremely hard to hit so your so all u can really do is stick to the enemy carries with Heart Zapper and Blunt Force Trauma. |
Smite is obviously a must have item when your jungling. I go Stalker's Blade just for the slow so I can hit the enemy with a Infected Bonesaw. Cinderhulk enchantment gives you 15% bonus health and since Dr. Mundo scales so well with health its pretty much the only viable enchantment on Dr. Mundo jg. Spoiler: Click to view

Exhaust is great when your playing Dr. Mundo support,top,and jungle. It keeps the enemy in place so you can perma slow them with your Infected Bonesaw and kill them with your Heart Zapper and Blunt Force Trauma. Spoiler: Click to view

Ghost allows you to chase and play more aggressive also allows you to escape. One of the other options is flash but flash only works well on Dr. Mundo pre six. After lv 6 Dr. Mundo doesn't really need to Flash out of situations he has time to run away with ghost plus Ghost lets you cover more distance. Spoiler: Click to view

Teleport is a must. I bring Teleport on every top laner no matter what. Teleport is an essential for all top laners it allows you to tp gank, get to lane without loosing much cs/xp, split push, and gives you the ability to have greater map control. Spoiler: Click to view

Infected Bonesaw is your main and most important ability with Dr. Mundo. If you cant do anything else just make sure you can land your Infected Bonesaw's. When you land Infected Bonesaw it refunds all cost making it a great tool to farm with, poke with,engage with, and escape with. Infected Bonesaw also gives you a perma slow and is on an insanely low cool down. Spoiler: Click to view

Heart Zapper is a great ability for just about every thing Dr. Mundo does. Early game Heart Zapper costs a lot of health so you have to be cautious when you use it but after you get a core item your pretty much free to use it as much as you want. Its a great form of cc and it gives you tenacity. Spoiler: Click to view

Blunt Force Trauma is most of Dr. Mundo's damage. Blunt Force Trauma does 1 bonus damage for every 1% health missing, it also does 5% of your current health as damage. Blunt Force Trauma also work on towers. Spoiler: Click to view

Maximum Dosage gives you the power to do what you want when you want. Dr. Mundo practically becomes unkillable if used at the right time. if you are ahead you can pretty much tower dive when ever your ult is up if used at the right time because it gives you a ridiculous amount of movement speed.
