It's a skill matchup slightly favoring you. At lower elos, you can almost always parry his E, but that becomes much harder in plat+. Try to avoid engaging in extended trades with him. Don't Q on to him level 1 because you don't have W to block his E. At level 6, he'll try to auto minions twice and then jump onto you for his R proc. This matchup is very snowbally. You easily win late game if Jax does a meta build with titanic hydra.
Darius
You can't really fight him until you get 2 or 3 items. Try to engage in medium length trades, disengaging when he has 4 stacks. If he's good, then don't ever Q poke him, because that leaves you without an escape. Try to either parry his auto+W or his ult.
Irelia
If you don't feed in lane, you win pretty easily after 2 items. If her W is up, try not to fight her from level 6-11ish because she does lots of true damage.
Yasuo
He has a stronger pre-6, you're about equal in strength from 6-10 (it mainly depends on if he gets his ult off and if you proc all 4 vitals), and you're stronger from 11+. Rush tabi. He can still outplay you late game if you fight in a large minion wave, but otherwise it should be very easy.
Garen
You'll win every trade if you parry his Q. When he uses E, you should Q away, hitting a vital if possible.
Akali
Try to not let her auto you when marked, or parry it if she does. From level 6+, play passively because she does lots of damage and has easy engage. It might be wise to rush a hexdrinker and phage for the survivability.
Nasus
You win pre 6, he wins from around 6-15, and you win 16+ at equal items. You can't fight him mid game unless you're super fed. As long as you he doesn't have tons of stacks, you should win at 5-6 items.
Pantheon
He can literally just spam Q and force you out of the lane. There isn't much you can do.
Renekton
He can chunk you pretty hard early game. If you predict his stun, you can win the trade, but to be safe you should try to not fight him until level 11+, assuming you're even.
Gangplank
His Q poke is pretty annoying, but if he does it too often he should quickly go oom. He's strongest at duelling you from levels 6-10, assuming he's good at kiting you. You can generally just run him down late game. Save your parry for barrels.
Aatrox
You're about equally powerful as him early game, but you outscale him pretty hard.
Teemo
He has tons of poke and it's hard to run him down due to shrooms. You have to play pretty passively early. If you avoid shrooms (control ward/oracle alteration) and parry his Q then you should be able to run him down.
Malphite
His Q poke is very annoying and you can't do a lot about it. You outscale him late game.
Tryndamere
Rush tabi early game and have a randuins in your build late game if you want to duel him. If you kite him well then you can beat him late game. He generally has an advantage mid game while it's about even early game.
Cho'Gath
Play passively and don't fight early. You outscale late game.
Singed
Don't fight him early and mid game, because he does tons of damage. It's hard but possible to catch him late game. For the most part, you'll just be ignoring him. Starting with a cull is possible.
Ornn
Don't fight early and you outscale late.
Master Yi
Yi is rarely played top, but if you see him, you can poke him a lot early game. He can't poke you because he has no disengage. However, if he somehow gets to late game (or is jungling), then he's almost impossible to duel.
Vayne
Her poke is somewhat annoying, but she's very easy to gank and you win prolonged fights early game. She will outscale you in 1v1s.
Poppy
Farm and outscale.
Yorick
Avoid fighting him early and mid game when he has his ultimate or ghouls up. You outscale late game.
Jayce
He has annoying poke, but if he all ins you and you parry his knockback, you'll win the trade easily. You outscale him late game.
Riven
Very snowbally matchup. Try to trade with her when her abilities are on cd, and avoid trading when your W is on cd. Whether or not you use your W correctly determines if you can win trades or not.
Wukong
He has tons of burst. Avoid fighting him early and mid game, and you outscale late.
Heimerdinger
You can't really do much but passively farm until late game. Fortunately, he doesn't have a ton of harass.
Trundle
He has a slight advantage early and you outscale late game.
Gnar
He has lots of poke and disengage and does surprising amounts of damage. Avoid fighting him until late game.
Kayle
You can harass her early pretty easily and snowball off of that. If you build specifically to 1v1 you can outduel her late game.
Sion
He has tons of harass early game and you can't really fight him. Farm passively until late game.
Vladimir
He has some poke but you should win prolonged trades at all stages of the game.
Kled
He can't reliably harass you early game due to your W, and you outscale him late game.
Ryze
He has lots of poke and can kite you, but you outscale late game.
Shen
He wins fights early game, but you outscale him. Try to push the lane if he goes away because he can snowball his team with his ultimate.
