Storytime with Grandpa Fizz
♡Centuries ago, an ancient water-dwelling race built a hidden city beneath a mountain in the sea. Though these creatures had their enemies, the city was an impenetrable fortress, and, in the safety it provided, they grew complacent. Fizz, however, harbored a curious spirit that could not be satisfied living so cushioned a life. Unable to resist the allure of danger, Fizz had a habit of sneaking out of the city to look for trouble. In his many adventures he grew to be a powerful fighter with a sharp cleverness that let him skirt danger with ease. One day Fizz returned to find the city abandoned: his people had vanished, leaving Fizz without a clue to explain their disappearance. With nothing left in the city to keep him, Fizz salvaged an enchanted seastone trident from the ruins and set out alone.♡
♡Fizz wandered the ocean in search of his people for years, using the skills hed learned during his adventures as young boy to survive. Finally, Fizz discovered the port of Bilgewater. He was fascinated with the existence of life above the water and could not resist exploring the island. In his endless curiosity, Fizz inadvertently meddled in the affairs of the humans who lived there, and his presence did not go unnoticed. His mischief angered many residents who eventually sought to capture or kill him. Fizz found himself cornered, and he prepared to return to the sea despite the fondness hed come to hold for Bilgewater. As he stood at the docks, a massive dragon-shark attacked the port. Fizz defeated the beast, using his resourcefulness and knowledge of the creatures weaknesses to his advantage. Having earned the gratitude and respect of the humans, Fizz decided to stay in Bilgewater. To further serve his new home, he joined the League of Legends.♡
♡Fizz makes even the saltiest sailors of Bilgewater look like drunken landlubbers in a fight. Good thing hes on our side. Miss Fortune, the Bounty Hunter.♡
Information Summ-up about Fizz
Fizz is an ability power champion,who can instantly kill whoever He likes if he gets well-fed.When using his moves,he can create wonderful combinations and deal massive and huge amounts of damage and He can crowd control the enemy champions when using his abilities in a correct way.Kills like Ultimate>popped W>and Q are the most normal,but with some nice warding,Fizz can take the advantage of his excessive damage and Do some easy Baron/Dragon/Buff steals,or even kill a member of the enemy team who is Just alone.
Fizz can counter many mages and many antimages aswell,So if you see a fizz from the enemy team get ready to face a really BAD fish..
Fizz IS a real assasin,he does not fear his hard against-playing champions,he has the feeling of being the winner of da fight!
Flash is chosen for a nice escape or to secure a kill or even make a wombo-combo with your skillshots.(Flash and Using Ultimate when you use smartcast is a really bad-*** afterchase ^.^ ) Also,Flash can be used to bait-flashin into bushes and confusing your enemies.
-Another Choice for the escaping spells Is Ghost For Quick Chasing or running off,But I Dont prefer it actually As it isnt the best synergy .
-Bare in mind that Barrier is a legit choice aswell but I would not suggest it because Ignite is a real threat,either in early-mid game or in late game
~The selection of my runes has been tested and I have found out that When using this compilation of runes Fizz has Enough ability power and magic penetration to deal enough damage,despite all the Magic resist that The opponent might have.Also,Fizz has some Nice stats that allows him to be a massive damage dealer.~
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power has been chosen for Ability power portion
Greater Seal of Armor have been chosen for armor durability.
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration have been chosen for an amount of magic penetration for extra damage on his opponents.
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist have been chosen for extra survivability versus Ability power players.
Amazing Pros&Sad Cons
1)Good Initiator and Damage dealer.He can 2-shot players in Midgame and Lategame
2)Good chasing .
3)Faces enemy's creep harassment.
4)Good escaping/jumping of walls.
5)Easy farming dude.
6)Almost "Item indepedent" as He has a really good Ability power scale in composal of his moves ( A Lich Bane is enough to make things happen )
1)Cannot be easily mastered.
3)A little bit squizy in early game.
4)He is a meele mage.
5) Can be harrashed by spammer Mages or Can give hard fights versus Meele mages like Katarina or Diana .
Fishshots of skill (Skillshots)
~Dash a set distance towards or through target dealing damage
This effect applies Auto-hit effects(Like the proc of Lich Bane , which makes it a big damage-dealer .~
~Fizz passively gets auto attacks that rend the target - a DoT based on missing health. Active gives auto attacks bonus magic damage .His next autohits just re-apply the Rend~
Playful / Trickster
~Fizz can use his trident as a pole-vault making him untargetable while in the air then slowing nearby enemies as the slams back down.~ ~If you double tap E he does a double jump and goes further but loses his slow.It is the best farming mechanism that Fizz uses as it is a really important and easy waveclear ~
Chum the Waters
~Throws a fish that sticks to its target and slows them. A shark will then come eat the fish and knock up any nearby enemies dealing damage as well.After Ulting the target, it gets marked and THe magic damage to the target is increased by 20% for the next 6 seconds.
This fact means that Ultimate must NOT be spent and you must aim correct in order to make your enemy <<disappear>>~
->As I have said repetedly before,Fizz is really cool mage whose laning is pretty hard as he is a meele mage.
This brings Fizz into a difficult situation because he can be easily outfarmed.
But You shouldnt worry as he has His passive "W" with the bleeding effect,he can get many creeps from the early game and continue farming and changing positions into midlane when using His Q in a correct way.
Using mathematics,Fizz does NOT need Blue buff till level 5 BUT If the opponent mage counters him in spells and farm, you have to start using Fizz's combination from the early game which is: Press "W",keep up with "Q" to deal damage and then escape with "E".Unfortunately if you keep on using this combination,as "E" is the spell that uses most mana,you will soon go out of mana and Need the blue buff.
->However,Fizz's power can be used and bring good results for your team. When playing in Midlane,I personally watch opposite's jungler positioning after ganking my lane (or trying to / just came across midlane then left) ,and then I Try to gank him,for early jungle breakup or even a kill,an amount of gold is never bad you know.Finally,You should take care when you play with Fizz for only one thing.NEVER spend your "E" for an aggressive combination on your opponent if you HAVE NOT set wards(using your trinket) on both bushes for high security,and thats a law.
While talkin about Wards, A Vision Ward is an excellent choice to be set in a bush in order to have complete vision of that specific bush and destroy any wards set on that or have INFINITE time to watch the enemy jungler ganking you or moving towards YOUR jungle
->Join jungle and kill some wraths.Some extra gold would never be bad for Fizz.After picking up Sheen Try to take Blue buff alone without asking jungler's help,and keep on killing neutral monsters for extra gold regeneration.->
•However,Another choice would be using your Playful/Trickster to farm more & faster,but this option needs a Blue buff,a non-aggressive Midlane,and to Max your E first..something that is not preferable in serious games,Except the chance you are really sure about yourself,but I would not suggest it.
The whole point is to be the king of the lane, Be aggressive but let your Aggresive stance become your best defence.
*Always try to understand HOW YOUR OPPONENT PLAYS. Point his clicks, his moves, his tendancy to back or to have a aggro/def stance. You can always take advantage of all of them .
A midlaner's job isnt only to buy Items. Warding is really important. Wards win the game
As sightwards have been removed from the game, the warding placement is even harder with only 2 wards available from your trinket..So..It is vital to know where and WHEN to set them.
•Beginning With Doran's Ring provide early Ability power, Sustain to Fizz . Health Potion x2 help Fizz recover a respectful amount of health mostly on early game,giving him nice sustain
Then Buy 1 Doran's Ring and Boots of Speed for Mobility.
•When you back..Rush to Sheen and if possible..the whole Lich Bane
(((( -In AD occasion, Rush in Sheen - Seeker's Armguard )))
The most important Item to complete at first Is Lich Bane
•Include in core build :
1) Lich Bane, 2) Rabadon's Deathcap ,3) Zhonya's Hourglass
4) Rylai's Crystal Scepter , 5) Void Staff and 6) Ionian Boots of Lucidity
NOT IN THIS ORDER..Just NUMERICALLY
◘ About Boot Selection,Your choices are Between:
Ionian Boots of Lucidity
Best Choice are Ionian Boots of Lucidity Because of the cooldown reduction which is really important for obvious reasons
◘The Enchantment On Boots is a decision which Summoners Take.However,My personal choice is Furor,And the reason is because of Seastone Trident,Which will keep Fizz in combat for almost all the time,So Fizz will be on a 12% Movement speed Increase.
○ Trinket Selection :
Warding Totem,Then Upgrading it to Greater Totem.Reason for buying this is because it offers you Visioning in on of your Bushes in Midlane,Helping you Seeing Jungler's Moves and so..Escape Ganks Or Attacks from Your Enemy Midlaner.( Some Warding never hurt anyone anyways ^^ )
•A nice tip that I could give you is to bug some champions's ultimate with Playful/trickster.
..For example,you can set to fail Karthus'S , Vi's ultimate and Caitlyn'S Ultimate , and set Caitlyn ultimate on a cooldown .This trick needs pure instict and you have to think your opponent's next move and also dont be freaked out and know to wait for the most suitable moment.Patience is the key.
1) Viktor and his magnetic field ( from one side of the field to another with one jump !)
2) Swain and his trap
3) Veigar and his stun-walls
4) Lux and her ultimate(All of her spells can be dodged )
5) Ekko and his Circle
And many many other examples that you may think..There were just a few..Now..you can think plenty of them !
•Another one tip would be NEVER to miss the ultimate.With Fizz's change.. Chum the Waters is a magic damage multiplier for the next 6 seconds..So make sure your Ultimate hits. After it lands..Your Next combination will be a stiff murderer
•In addition, ,try to slow the enemy with Playful/Trickster and then Seastone Trident and Urching Strike for increased damage damage to the target,as a result of the mastery that has been selected(2,5% increased damage) .
•Try to attack with your Seastone Trident and Lich Bane procced then Q for maximum damage output on the enemy target.
•If you have an assasin in mage and you are afraid of its Hard CC dont be afraid to choose Mercury's Treads and do not forget to upgrade them.
• Chum the Waters Slow and Mark(for increased damage) can be removed from Quicksilver Sash /from Mercurial Scimitar and from Cleanse....So be careful when you pop your ultimate.
• Chum the Waters deals 6 true damage over 1.5 second before the knockup.Thats a little secret that people do not actually know .
• Chum the Waters fish stays launched on the target that has been launched,even if the target uses Flash or Teleport
•The nearer you are when you use Urchin Strike,the further you go.
• Urchin Strike applies effects from items like Lich Bane Or Sheen on enemies!
•When someone comes after you and you are near a wall there is a Neutral monster behind it or an enemy , Click on your Warding Totem and then use your Urchin Strike on the Neutral monster or enemy . Great escaping mechanism,keep that in mind.
• Seastone Trident Does NOT hit Turret or any other kind of Structures ( Inhibitors& Nexus ).However it procs Lich Bane and your next autohit is stronger.
•[/u] Playful/Trickster][/u] Does not stop Fiddlesticks Drain Life or any other kind of dots Like Teemo poison Or Ignite aswell. However it dodges Azir Hits of his Soldiers
•You can jump off walls with Playful / Trickster
But not off the huge ones,The medium length.
•When you use Chum the Waters to champions Like Annie/ Kennen/ Fizz/ Veigar/ Poppy/ Tristana and you Kill them,there is no corpse left Behind! Hihi ( Little secret )
•You can Jump off Thresh Ultimate ( The Box ) without taking damage or The slow Effect
