The work of gravediggers is essential amongst the living, but invaluable in the Shadow Isles. There are many shades of death there, and each is embraced rather than feared or reviled. One can only ascend from one state to the next with the magical aid of a skilled professional. At the end of the first Rune War, Yorick Mori made his living as a gravedigger. His family owned and maintained the Final Rest Memorial, one of the oldest cemeteries in Valoran. The shovel he employed for his work had been passed down for generations. Each gravedigger taught his son that this shovel was imbued with the spirit of every forefather, and that those spirits would protect him during the long lonely nights amongst the tombstones. To his eternal regret, Yorick died without an heir, bringing the proud Mori line to a close. His body was interred with his shovel in the family mausoleum, and the Final Rest Memorial soon fell to ruin. Death, however, was not the end Yorick had expected.

Yorick emerged on the haunted shores of the Shadow Isles - not quite dead, definitely not alive - still clutching his beloved shovel. He soon learned that with it he could act as a ferryman for the Isles' undead denizens, helping them climb death's many-tiered ladder. This proved a curse, as a gravedigger must ''bury his quota'' before he too can ascend, or so the legend goes. No one knows what ''his quota'' is. Yorick dug tirelessly, waiting in vain for the day when he would be freed of his burden. As decades turned to centuries, the shame of his failures came to a head. He returned to Valoran to find his corpse, convinced that salvation might be buried with it. When he arrived, no trace remained of either the mausoleum or the memorial. Hope nearly lost, he discovered the League of Legends, and there saw an opportunity to immortalize the family name he allowed to be forgotten ages ago.

Soon as Yorick came out I knew I had to get him and after playing with him a bit this is what I found to be a good when i played him even though this may not be the best in the entire game but i have good success with him so who knows you may as well =) Yorick is a really really underestimated champion every game when i play Yorick and jungling people are mad and say its gg yet when they see how i do they love Yorick. I'm hoping someone would be willing to tell me how to print a screen of ur wins and post it on your profile so that people can see how well i do with Yorick so far if i play 10 games with Yorick i win 9 of them and lose 1 cause of a feeder or something. My Average kills round to b from 9 kills to 15 kills and deaths r from 0 to 5 and assists go from 7 to 16.

Lots of burst and sustainable damage

Great Ganker with his slow and such
Always under estimated so gives you the upper hand when you throw out a Burst amount of damage.

Cons
Susceptible to being kited
Very mana deficient at low level
Not any way to escape if caught in gank

Greater Mark of Desolation Gives you dearly needed armor pen in the beginning for when your harassing or just going for first blood in general.

Greater Seal of Replenishment His mana pool is ridiculous at low level since his abilities are spammed the regular mana pool your given just does not fit the budget in my opinion so this will help you get your mana back.

Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction His abilities have a relatively low cd anyways but at low levels the faster your spells r up the more you can spam to harass or farm

Greater Quintessence of Health I find Yorick a tad squishie in beginning so use the Fort quints to help him survive from being harassed.

Starting With A Long Sword and Health Potion is best at starting at either golems or wolfs but i usually start at wolfs u time ur q after each melee swing to put out the damage to its maximum potential and u should drink ur potion either soon as the 2nd wolf dies or on ur way to the wraiths either works tbh.

Next you go to Wraiths and Smite the big wraith put point into Omen of Famine and use ur Omen of War on one the lesser golems and use Omen of Famine on a different wraith and just finish off the wraiths

Then you move to golems and at this point it's a lil weird how i do this so dont hate =) i start out as melee swing one of the golems and then use Omen of War and Omen of Famine on the same golem and when he dies i kind of kite the other golem around till i get enough life sapping his life away from Omen of Famine then when got enough mana and life to kill him i use Omen of Famine Omen of War combo and he dies fairly quick then put last point in Omen of Pestilence and recall.

When you recall you can either 1. Gank (if possible) or 2. Start over except start at Blue Golem and use the whole Omen of Pestilence Omen of Famine Omen of War combination then smite when the golem gets to 430 hp.

Yorick is very very good at ganking specially with his slow from Omen of Pestilence

After you start getting a few kills from ganking bottom middle or top you will have by mid game a Wriggle's Lantern Boots of Swiftness Sheen and Phage at this point laning phase will soon start coming to an end yet u still gank as much as possible before the laning phase ends.

Since Yorick is a Beefy OT you should never engage a team fight NEVER let your official tank engage you are the person who charges after the tank and hits everything with ur shovel till it dies!

Now when you get to the getting Glacial Shroud part of the build all depending on how the other team is doing is where i change it up.

If their team is getting plenty of ad damage going out i go ahead and build Glacial Shroud and finish it up later as a Frozen Heart

Yet If their team is heavy ap and the ap r wats hitting you hard build a Catalyst the Protector and turn it into a Banshee's Veil

Also if Their team has got a decent amount of armor or enough to where your not packing the punch you want you can switch Infinity Edge To a Black Cleaver simply cause the attack speed and the lower armor debuff on each swing can really destroy tanks and such

But if their team is majority squishie feel free to either get an Infinity Edge] or [[Bloodthirster

Well your basic skill sequence will always be Omen of Pestilence Omen of Famine Omen of War Omen of Death this will be wat you use in a team fight or a gank.

In harassing i find just using Omen of Pestilence and then Omen of Famine will do a decent amount of damage alone using Omen of Famine if they are close and you can get to them.

I level Omen of Famine up first just for the sake of damage output it does at a distance and healing it does when harassing or killin an enemy. Omen of War i level up 2nd just cause the burst damage u get from a hit and it resetting your auto attack cause hit the enemy alot harder then they anticipate. I level up Omen of Pestilence last cause i majority use it as a slow to get some hits on the enemy while harassing or killing.

Also Found that using Omen of Death on your AD ranged Carry or AD Melee Carry in the beginning of a team fight can determine the outcome of a teamfight if done right as well.

all of your abilites are great way of farming without having to get close up and chance of gettin harassed by the enemy except for Omen of War tho you can just use ur abilities to last hit minion cause this build is very expensive so need to be farming A LOT or getting kills.

ALWAYS FARM!!!!!!!!!! This is a must and i mean ALWAYS farm when you have a chance.

A Good Yorick CAN carry the team but it's usually not greatest in world caus eu come out even with like 15 kills and 14 deaths and 11 assists. Yet with Yorick for some reason 90% of the people on League Of Legends Underestimate Yorick extremely thinking he is underpowered yet you would b surprised on what he can do. If your team is doing ok at best for some reason Yorick gives that extra push that will make ur team do great just with his ghost alone added with your team if you have a AD carry who is dominating on ur team feel free to use your ultimate on that character but most the times for some reason i never have a AD carry doign great when i jungle Yorick so i always Ult Myself.

I love Yorick he is an amazing champion that can check bushes, harass, and kill, and gank enemies with extreme ease. I hope yall have as much fun as i do when i play Yorick and GL!
