Hi my name is iSterlingA, I was Bronze but now i am currently in Plat, and I am climbing pretty hard. This will be my first guide and depending on the results i may make more, if you want more guides tell me the champ you want and i will be happy too (ADCS PLEASE) and tell me what I can do better!
Kog'Maw is an alien that spits out dead babies!!!
Icathian Surprise (Passive)
Decent passive, but it doesn't help you while you're alive. It may seem to not synergize with Kog'Maw as he's a champion who shouldn't be dying, but it can still be helpful. Icathian Surprise is one of the few sources of true AoE damage in the game, this passive allows for revenge kills, or getting yourself some assists in a team fight if you happen to be killed.
Caustic Spittle (Q)
This ability is one of Kog'Maw steroids. Unlike some other steroids, this is constantly there with the passive. You won't be able to use the active very often in team fights. Helpful when killing the tank who jumped on you with your team.
Bio-Arcane Barrage (W)
This is the main power of Kog'Maw. Bio-Arcane Barrage is the strongest ability in Kog'Maw kit. This ability brings his range up to 710. Bio-Arcane Barrage allows Kog'Maw to be able to shred anyone, even tanks. Be careful when you activate it though. The cooldown is a 9 seconds, leaving you vulnerable.
Void Ooze (E)
This is Kog'Maw defensive ability. It can provide quite a bit of utility in lane and team fights. Anyone standing on this slow is open to a lot of damage from your auto attacks and teammates. In a defensive way, you can use this is someone's chasing you. If you land the slow on someone, youuse your Living Artillery to poke them down.
Living Artillery (R)
Early to mid game, the damage is good for poking enemies. If you Void Ooze, and activate Bio-Arcane Barrage then hit them with Living Artillery, it can chunk them quite a bit. Late game, the damage is reduced a bit due to the enemy team having magic resist. However, all throughout the game, it's useful to scout and poking poeple down. Remember that the mana costs stack, so make sure not to spam it or you'll find yourself OOM.
Good supports with Kog
Dark Binding helps secure them down so you can Bio-Arcane Barrage them down
Death Sentence and Flay combo with keep them cc'd long enough for you to melt them down.
Zenith Blade and Shield of Daybreak keep them cc'd for you to melt them also
if you think you are going to lose lane Nami is a great idea for your support to go because of her sustain with Ebb and Flow
People with hard cc or sustain are good with Kog'Maw

Long range with Bio-Arcane Barrage
No escape except for Flash.
Weak until core Trinity Force Blade of the Ruined King.
Flash is a must have on Kog'Maw because he has no escape.
Heal is also a must have but you can go Barrier if your support wants to go Heal.
Ignite Never use this spell on marksmans because heal is just 10 times better, especially when you have to kite so much.
MAIN GOAL IS TO FARM
Farming is really important with Kog'Maw, try to get the core items as fast as you can and you will dominate, if you are doing bad in lane or getting harassed i recommend going Bork first to make it easier for you to farm. Farm with Bio-Arcane Barrage if you have too!
In team fights you want to use your Bio-Arcane Barrage to your advantage. Remember that you wreck tanks and if they try to go on to you just use Void Ooze and kite. Don't forget to use Bork! As Kog'Maw you should kill their back line before they kill yours which will most likely result you winning the fight.
I think that early game Kog'Maw isnt that good so i usually just try to farm, freeze and ward the bush in river whenever I can if my support doesn't do it
Goal: Farm for Trinity Force and Blade of the Ruined King.
Mid game is a really big power spike for Kog'Maw because your Bio-Arcane Barrage will be maxed out and you should have Trinity Force and Blade of the Ruined King. You can either keep pushing bot or you can take objectives and teamfight.
Goal: Teamfights, objectives or farm more.
Congratulations!!! You have now become God'Maw Kog'Maw final form. You should team fight and try to end the game. if they have a whole bunch of wave clear you can force a team fight by doing baron and then ending a game or you can rotate and catch them out. At this stage of the game, you should be wrecking tanks, if you have no peel and losing fights because of it, tell your team that you wreck at this point of the game and tell them to peel.
Goal: End, team fight, get peel, baron, inhibs!
The reason why I run this rune page is because if gives you life steal in lane so you have more sustainability. The attack speed on the page is pretty much needed for Kog'Maw and it also works well with his kit.
The reasoning why i run Dangerous Game is because i noticed that supports like to run ignite now and in an all-in it can really save your life. I also take Feast for even more sustainability in lane. the rest of my masteries are pretty much basic for ADC's now.
