Mordekaiser is just a great champion in the league. He's very adaptable but mostly just a great tank. I really enjoy playing with him, because it's sooo fun when people go like: "WTF? i didn't damage him?! Damn shield!". For the most champions Minions are enemy's but as Mordekaiser they are your best friends!
From the Shadow Isles comes a champion like no other. Standing eight feet tall, concealed within a razor-sharp armored shell is a creature known only as Mordekaiser. Some allege that he is a man, though none have actually seen what lies within the plates that encompass him. There are those who posit that he isn't a living being, but rather a particularly dark specimen of the undead rumored to infest his distant homeland - but such rumors are surely merely the ramblings of the paranoid or the whispers of the insane. What is known is this: Mordekaiser arrived unannounced at the Institute one day and, with the rasp of an echoing sepulcher, requested to join the League of Legends.
As if his fearful visage doesn't disturb enough, his touch bears a sinister plague. Those unfortunate enough to be caught within his grasp fall victim to incurable maladies. In fact, Mordekaiser seems mystically connected to sickness, as if it feeds and comprises part of his chilling essence. He has been seen stalking the slums of Noxus, drawn to the plague-ridden and diseased. However, there is something in his clever tactics, something in his noble stance, something in the tone of his unearthly commands that has led many to believe that Mordekaiser is more than just a foot soldier. Some see the distinguishing characteristics of a general. While many have learned to accept this unsettling possibility, a lingering question keeps them uneasily awake at the witching hour - If Mordekaiser is a general, what nightmarish army lurks at his command?
''If there is a thing festering at the heart of the League, it is the Lord of the Damned.''
Pros / Cons
+Great music taste (Metal! Hell yeah!)
+He's competely made of METAL (YEY!)
-No disabling move
-No real escape ability
-No ranged moves (except Ulti)
-Without items low damage-output
-Abilities cost health
Our masteries are in both builds equal. We put 9 points in Offence, we get magic penetration/cooldown-reduction/bonus AP. We put 21 points in Defence, because these builds are based on Mordekaiser tank ability. Every damage-reduction mastery i could find(except the minion-damage reduction). We aren't putting any points in Utility, because you won't need it anyway.
Greater Mark of Insight +0.95 magic penetration
Greater Seal of Vigor Greater Seal of Vigor +0.43 health regen / 5 sec.
Greater Glyph of Potency +0.99 ability power
Greater Quintessence of Insight +1.89 magic penetration
We choose pretty basic caster runes. If you use different runes feel free to comment
Mordekaiser REALLY needs the Rylai's Crystal Scepter. He has no disables and this item gives him a slow.
We recommend these items for a caster/tank mordekaiser. They give you fine defence stats and a lot of AP.
These items are also quite good, although we find the Build items better.
You'll waste a part of the item, because you don't have mana.
(passive):Iron Man - A percent of the damage dealt from abilities is converted into a temporary shield, absorbing incoming damage. Great passive, the more damage you do, the more health your shield has! The shield is a sort of bonus health.
(q): Mace of Spades - On next hit, Mordekaiser swings his mace with such force that it echoes out, striking up to 3 additional nearby targets, dealing damage plus bonus damage. If the target is alone, the attack deals extra damage.
On next hit, Mordekaiser swings his mace with such force that it echoes out, striking up to 3 additional nearby targets, dealing 80/110/140/170/200 (0.4 + ) magic damage.
If the target is alone, 140/192.5/245/297.5/350 ( + ) damage is dealt instead.
Costs 25/32/39/46/53 Health
Great spell that is sometimes underestimated.
(w)Creeping Death - Unleashes a protective cloud of metal shards to surround an ally, increasing their armor and magic resistance and dealing damage per second to enemies in the cloud.
Unleashes a protective cloud of metal shards to surround an ally for 6 seconds, increasing their armor and magic resistance by 10/15/20/25/30 and dealing 24/38/52/66/80 (+0.2) magic damage per second to nearby enemies.
Costs 26/32/38/44/50 Health
Great defencive spell and it makes you farm minions more effectively.
(e)Siphon of Destruction - Mordekaiser deals damage to enemies in a cone in front of him. For each unit hit, Mordekaiser's shield absorbs energy.
Mordekaiser damages enemies in a cone in front of him, dealing 65/105/145/185/225 (+0.6) magic damage.
For each unit hit, Mordekaiser's shield absorbs an additional 1/2/3/4/5 health.
Costs 24/36/48/60/72 Health
Awesome spell and farm ability. It keeps your shield high very effectively.
(Ultimate(r)): Children of the Grave - Mordekaiser curses an enemy, stealing a percent of their life initially and each second. If the target dies while the spell is active, their soul is enslaved and will follow Mordekaiser for 30 seconds.
Steals 24/29/34 (+0.04)% of target champion's maximum Health (half stolen initially and half over 10 seconds; deals Magic Damage).
If the target dies while cursed, their soul is enslaved and will follow Mordekaiser for 30 seconds. Mordekaiser gains 20% of their ability power and attack damage, and the pet's stats are enhanced.
Pets can be controlled by holding the alt key and using the right mouse button.
Probably one of the best Ulti's in the entire game, it heals you, it deals significant damage and it enslaves your victim!
We max Siphon of Destruction first, because you can farm really well with it.
Try to max Creeping Death after that. Up your Ultimate whenever you can.
