Hello traveler,

I've been watching you for a while in these bushes. I've noticed your presence a while ago. You've been walking in my traps and scared some of the wildlife. What are you seeking traveler? A build? Come with me and I shall help you in your quest.

Pros

-Is very mobile
-Can scout early in game with bushwhacks
-Will dominate most lanes
-Is a good chaser
-Healing
-Great damage and range with spears

Cons

-Is a carry so she's squishy
-Is easily dead when crowd controlled.
-Will get most of the attention of the other teams
-Can't really do much without a blue buff
-It's very hard to play with Nidalee, It takes a lot of time and practice

In this Nidalee-guide you will find 2 builds. The first one is a support/anti-MR build. The second one is a support/killer build. At lvl 18 There are quite some differences:

support/anti-MR build
Ability Power 558.91 at 18 - Magic Penetration 48.55 at 18

Support/killer build
Ability Power 707.54 at 18 - Magic Penetration 8.55 at 18
Ability Power 547.54 at 18 - Magic Penetration 8.55 at 18


The ability power of the first build has 150 more AP ( if you have all the stacks you will get in total of mejaj's( +160 AP max )
so It's 550 against 560 at their lowest. The Support/anti-MR build will have 50 Magic penetration.

You should just choose one of the 2 depending on the situation and depending on the champions you fight against.

Greater Mark of Insight
This rune gives you magic penetration which give your spears even more damage, how great is that? In mid/late game you will probably only use your abilities so these runes really come in handy.

Greater Seal of Evasion
Dodge? YES, dodge this will give Nidalee some survivability which is awesome, because nidalee really can use it when she runs away in a fight after killing some champions. With Nimbleness(see masteries) your movement speed will increase with 10% if you dodge an attack. This will give her the chance to run far ahead before somebody will go after you.

Greater Glyph of Potency
These runes are used, because you really can use the AP early in the game for you spears, bushwhacks and your heals.

Greater Glyph of Force
I just love this rune. The Greater Glyph of Force will give you more AP then Greater Glyph of Potency, but the AP you get early game is much lower. The higher your level is the higher the output of the rune becomes. In other words mid/late game this rune really come in handy.

Quintessence of Fortitude
Health is always useful. Nidalee is a carry so she's quite squishy, even though she really has some maneuverability and can outrun most people.

I've been thinking about these spells. Each of these spells speak for them self. But Extra information is never bad.

Flash ,Let's think of a situation. you see 2 champions both low on health and you see a chance to attack. Pounce in one of the champions, if you played the game good, they will run away. A big gap has now been made between the champions and you, you'll flash then pounce hit them with the Takedown/Swipe combo and they will be dead, if not chance in your human form and throw that Godspear.
But they can always just stand there and attack you, if so attack them flash out, throw a spear, change form, and pounce in and do the Takedown/Swipe combo.

When you get ganked you can just pounce into the place where you want to escape to and then flash away. even though you can pounce between some trees flash will always come in handy.

Clarity You will use clarity a lot early game when you go support. Nidalee uses quite some mana and you will always be happy if you see that number counting down from 10 to 0, because you will most of the time have no mana.

Exhaust This skill probably speaks for its self.

Early game items
I don't think i need to say something about these two items, they are pretty self-explanatory.
Guinsoo's Rageblade
Guinsoo's Rageblade has a great ability, your attack speed will increase with 4% and your ability power will increase with +6 each stack. The limit of stacks is 8 stacks. With everything combined you will get +93 AP and about 32% more attack speed.

This item is great on Nidalee! The cooldown of Pounce is 3 seconds so you can stack it easily. You can always use which has a cooldown of 4 seconds.
Mejai's Soulstealer
Ninja Tabi, Berserker's Greaves, Boots of Swiftness, Sorcerer's Shoes, Mercury's Treads
Ninja Tabi is a great shoe when you fight against melee champs, It will give you 12 dodge and 25 armor. This will give Nidalee more survivability in big fights.
Berserker's Greaves, I just love these ones. Most people don't use them, but when you use these boots and attack a turret, it will be pretty much down. With the extra attack speed of your Primal Surge your Guinsoo's Rageblade and Berserker's Greaves you will take down every turret with ease.
Boots of Swiftness, Love it!, because this thing will make you terribly fast and with Prowl Most champions won't even try chasing you.
Sorcerer's Shoes,I don't really use these shoes, but they give your spears a lot of Magic Penetration early game. This can come in handy if you want to harras and kill people with your spear.
Mercury's Treads,This is very useful when you're fighting a team with a lot of snares and crowd control.
Rabadon's Deathcap
Rabadon's Deathcap, I don't really have to say anything about this. This is also pretty self-explanatory.
Lich Bane This is probably an item everyone loves. Your next attack will have additional 100% of your ability power in damage and just look at all the AP Nidalee has. It will also give you 30 Magic Resist and 7 Movement Speed.
Situational items
Void staff This is a great item for the, Support/anti-MR build. It gives you +40% Magic Penetration. Even though this item is always useful against champions with Magic Resistance.
Banshee's Veil Health, Mana and Magic Resistance. Yeah this is great, but with Nidalee you actually want that Passive. Banshee's Veil will block 1 spell every 45 seconds. This is really useful, because Nidalee get's snared or slowed the moment they have the chance to attack her.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter What can I say ? Rylai's Crystal Scepter provides you with Health, Abilty Power and provides you with a Slow on all your abilities. The slow is perfect for Nidalee and the Health and the Ability Power are also nice.
