Welcome, I'm showing a build on Nunu or what I call the "Frozen Legend." Nunu is not only a tank but he may be able to go ablility power or "AP" for short. I will be showing you 6 or more chapters of information on what I build Nunu on; Runes, Masteries, Items, Skill Sequence, Summoner Spells, Summary, etc.

I know the runes appear to be primary and seconday but it makes a big difference in battle. They are all set AP or "Greater ...... of Potency." The mark gives .59 AP, just by getting 9 of these it makes a small difference in a big battle. Yet the seal also gives .59. Then the glyph gives .99 which can bring your AP in total to about 20. Finally the quintessence which gives 4.95 now this in total would give a final of about 45 AP.

The masteries that I set mostly have the effect of; Mana, Mana Regen, Health Regen, and Summoner Spells. I put 21 in utility and 9 in defense, in utility I put 1 in , 3 in , 2 in , 4 in , 1 in , 3 in , 3 in , 3 in , and 1 in . Then in defense I get; 3 in , 3 in , 3 in . Which is all my masteries but feel free to change a couple if needed.

Nunu's abilities allow him to be a tank AP. Which is the reason why I get Mejai's Soulstealer or Archangel's Staff , Sorcerer's Shoes , Rylai's Crsystal Scepter , Rod of Ages , Banshee's Veil , and Rabadon's Deathcap . The reason I put Archangel's and Mejai's is because if your not get many kills then you should sell mejai's and buy archangel's.

Now the skill sequence I base on kills/Mejai's Soulstealer because you can get stacks I made it so that the Ice Blast gets upgraded first. But if you were going to get the Archangel's first I recommend upgrading the Blood Boil first. I don't upgrade Consume till the end but if needed you may change the sequence to fit your needs. Consume is a very useful move especially with his passive Visionary which lets him cast a move without mana helps him in battle to heal.

Pros:
Never has to go back because of paasive and consume
Tank and AP
can speed up allies
can slow enemies
nuker

Cons:
can't really get out of a fight
ultimate can be easily stopped

In summary Nunu can be built and successful in many ways and my way is one of them.
