Welcome to my Ryze guide ! I'm finally done with this, here you will learn how to build ryze and how to carry scrubs with simple tactics, enjoy.

Cons---> Low ranges, weak early game
Pros---> Strong late game, op farming after 6

The range nerf made Ryze's early game even weaker. All you should do is farm in order to "Snowball towards the end"- Athene 2013. With your ultimate and Gp10 your gold advantage can be cataclismicly high even with no kills so you can toast every1 with full build b4 your enemies finish their 3rd core item. In other words you'll be uncounterpickable 'cause you're not gonna attack your lane opponent alone, You'll be just farming and if you don't die to your enemy in lane after some time you will win the lane 'couse of gold advantage. Also you will be able to carry scrubs no matter how much they suck (You are fed in every game Yo)

Since you are supposed to farm early game there is no point to max W after Q. E will allow you to improve your farm so you can get even greater results in late game

Flash-> Lol rly want me to explain why you should use it ?
Teleport-> Use it for crazy Athene style tele ganks and to quickly get back to your lane. It gives tons of utillity

Ryze is the greatest spell spammer in the game (his passive says everything). Mana stacking is rather obvious it brings more dmg to Ryze's spells and allows you to cast more. At your first recall get those Gp10 items that will allow you to earn more (You gonna sell them after gold they generated+sell price is higher than their cost). After you got those rush a Tear then get boots and Catalyst that you will soonly upgrade into a RoA (If you want to go aggresie and get 2 RoAs you must buy the second one early so it can be fully stacked b4 the end of the game) What should i get first Seraph's or 20% cdr item ? Answer: if you have control over the blue buff (which gives 20% cdr that you need for full cdr which is mandatory for Ryze) and you dont need resists get Seraph's. If you need some protection and your team lost the control over blue buff get FH/SV b4 Seraph's. However if you are fighting Ap teams that are not buying armor you are supposed to get Muramana with AuG (they provide TONS of damage but since Muramana deals physical damage you can only build aganist no armor ap teams. If you are wondering why u need AuG im telling you that it gives mana regen which allows to keep your mana at high level so Muramana will be the most effictient) Finishing the build--> Luls just get what u need haheahehehahe.

His laning simply sucks. Get as much cs as u can and blow up every human existance in late game. If your jungler is not a scrub he will allow you to go Athene style Wolves-Mid-Wraiths tactic which is nothing more than clearing wolves then mid then wraiths, get it ?

-Karthus (If he force you to fall back you will get slowed and u might get toasted. Smart Karthus players will build a Rylai's to enchance dem slowz which are really dangerous since Ryze's ranges had been lowered)
