Hi! My name is SoFcknPro. I'm playing in the EUwest servers. I am from Hungary and i like to make guides on MobaFire! This will be my second guide, my first one is a Blitzcrank build, but i have a third one as well you can find it here: Garen build. I've made this guide because Sivir is my favorite AD carry. This build has been precessed to the Damage done, and not the Attack Speed. Thats why it's ideal when you have a support like Nidalee, Nunu, etc. But, if you have different supports, like Blitzcrank ask for a zeke's herald what will give you Attack Speed and lifesteal, of course! I think this is the Best way to play Sivir, i hope you will like my build, bye!:)

Patch 3.13 ALL HAIL RIOT!
Summary: Sivir has received a visual upgrade! Sivir’s Ricochet will now be active for the next three attacks after casting and each attack bounces infinitely, provided it can find new targets to bounce to (it will never hit the same target twice). Additionally, targets hit by a bounce will take a flat percentage amount of damage. Spell Shield no longer costs mana to cast. On The Hunt no longer has a cast time but doesn’t provide a flat bonus attack speed aura. On The Hunt now provides a large movement speed boost that wears off to a smaller, longer lasting movement speed buff. On The Hunt also provides a passive attack speed bonus when Sivir activates Ricochet. Finally, Sivir no longer runs in slow motion (her movement speed remains unaffected).
Context: When we approached reworking Sivir, we shied away from homogenizing her as another generic Marksman. Instead we took a route where we wanted to highlight Sivir’s unique traits, like her ability to deal high area-of-effect damage with Ricochet and her large team-wide mobility boost in On the Hunt. Our focus here is to ensure that dedicated Sivir players will still be able to enjoy the core gameplay mechanics they’ve come to appreciate while also bringing Sivir up to our modern gameplay standards and aesthetics.
Sivir has received a visual update!
Attack Speed per level reduced to 1.6 (from 3.28)
Now when activated, Sivir's next 3 basic attacks will Ricochet
No longer has a maximum number of bounces (each Ricochet can still only strike a target once)
Now bounces to the closest target (instead of a random target within the bounce radius)
Deals 50/55/60/65/70% damage to all secondary targets
No longer has a base damage
Cooldown increased to 9/8/7/6/5 seconds (from 7/6/5/4/3)
Reduced Mana cost to 0 (from 75)
Mana return reduced to 60/75/90/105/120 (from 150)
On The Hunt
No longer has a cast time
Active no longer grants Attack Speed
Now grants Sivir a new Passive: Sivir gains 40/60/80% bonus Attack Speed while Ricochet is active
Movement Speed bonus now begins at 60%, then reduces to 20% after 4 seconds
Cooldown changed to 120/90/60 seconds (from 100/90/80)
Who is Sivir
Who is Sivir?
Sivir is a very good AD carry, i think its almost the best, in my opinion, but its very hard to play, and you need a lot of Skill for it. The best thing about Sivir is her Spell Shield, you can survive, Ganks by Warwick, Rocket Grabs from Blitzcrank, Pulverizes and Headbutts from Alistar. And you can counter many Carries, Supporters, and even Junglers!
So thats why i really love Sivir, and a really good thing, you can start with practicing her at low level, because its not cost 6300IP, or 3150IP. Just only not more just 450 IP!

I picked this marks, because i think, this is the best ones for an AD carry. Way more better then the Greater Mark of Attack Damage. But this is just my opinion.
I recommend you the Greater Mark of Armor penetrationx9, because i think the Armor Penetration is a very good thing at early game, or even at middle game, but at late game its not bad if you have a Last Whisper at least.
You can also choose, because this is an AD carry champion, and all of the AD carries need Attack Damage, so if you want you can choose Greater Mark of Attack Damagex9 if you are more familiar with the more AD.
I pick always tanky runes for Sivir, because its very good if you want a bit protection against the enemy AD carry, when you haven't got a Healer support, like Nunu or so.
So i think if you want to do something at early game, when you have a very hard enemy like Graves you will need a high protection cap against him. Like the early 1v1, protection from the enemy minions aggro when you chasing a low HP enemy and u have to take the minion wave aggro. So i'll just only can say take these and it will be good :) Greater Seal of Armorx9.
You can take of course Greater Seal of Scaling Armorx9 ones, but its not the best choose for the early game, and in the late game you wont need that little more Armor bonus what you will get from the /level ones.
For glyphs, i love to take tanky ones again, because i love to know in safety myself, but you wont need the high magic protection at early game, but you will need more in late game because of the strong AP carries.
So as i said the best way if you want to protect yourself if you choose Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resistx9 you will have a lot of magic resist at middle game, so you can kill AP carries easier.
You can take every kind of offensive bonuses if you don't need magic resist, it depends on your requirements. So you can take Greater Glyph of Attack Damage for AD, Greater Glyph of Critical Chance for Crit chance, Greater Glyph of Critical Damage for more Crit damage and for last Greater Glyph of Attack Speed for the bonus Attack Speed!
Greater Quintessence of Armor PenetrationQuintessenceGreater Quintessence of Armor Penetration
The Quintessences are the best boosts for your champion, so thats why i like to take Armor penetration quintessences, and an AD bonus one.
I like to take two of Greater Quintessence of Armor Penetrationx2 for the more Penetration what is a grate boost for early game, and one of Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage for a little AD bonus.
You can use every kind of psychical attack ones, just like AD, or Crit chance/damage, and attack speed ones.
Welcome at the masteries section, i'll explain the pros, about this sequence, and give some tips and tricks if you want to create your own mastery tree.
First take a look at the masteries to see whats about it, i am using a fully aggressive mastery sequence with a bit of defense of course. First of all this is a regular AD carry mastery sequence, with a good boost of armor penetration, and of course some boosts of bonus AD. You will have a little armor bonus, and a bit of magic resist.
|SP||So here is the offensive mastery sequence. This is a fully carry sequence with all of the boosts what you will need to own your lane and own everyone. For the pure AD boost, i picked Brute Force what will increase your AD by +3 what is a very good bonus at early game, and for a continuously boost i picked Deadliness for a great boost of bonus AD per level, you will get +9 at lvl 18. Of course the next is Fury for a bit of AttackSpeed bonus, if you full it up you will get +4% what is a good little bonus for every carry. What can be better when you have armor penetration runes, when you have armor penetration masteries! Weapon Expertise is very grate for middle and late game, Sunder is awesome at early game. And for last Executioner for finish this mastery tree.||
|SPACESPACESPACE||This is a very little but very important part of our mastery tree. I took Hardiness for the bonus +6 armor against the enemy AD carries, if you take an Ezreal, or Graves you better have a little protection against them. I took Resistance too for the more resistance against the enemy AP carries, for middle and late game, because everyone focuses the AD carries, of course if you are good and have a good farm, kills, gear etc.||SP||
I will explain my own Summoner Spell choice, then i explain the viable spells. I wont explain the wrong Summoner Spell choices, because its obvious, what i didn't mention, is a wrong choice!
Good Summoner Spells
|ii||ii||Flash is the best escaping summoner spell for Sivir! You can Flash trough walls, Flash simply to get away, or just Flash for chase an enemy!||ii||ii|
|ii||ii||Ignite is also, an awesome summoner spell, be ready that the enemy carry has got almost always a Heal, but the best is, you can use Ignite to reduce the Healing size, by -50%! You can use it, when your opponent HP is down, and you want to disable his Heal, or when he run away with low HP you can put ignite on him, to finish the kill!||ii||ii|
|ii||ii||Heal is a grate spell for AD carries. When you are fighting with someone, you can use Healto survive the 1v1 fight. You can also use Heal in team fights, to help out your team mates. Or just simply, when you or a mate survive but he has ignite on him, you can save his life by using the Heal.||ii||ii|
Viable Summoner Spells
|ii||ii||Cleanse is also a viable summoner spell, but its better for those carries who hasn't got any kind of CC protector abilities like, Sivir's Spell Shield. But double is better, and safer too, so you can also choose this spell, if the enemy has too much CC's.||ii||ii|
|ii||ii||You can use Exhaust too, if you like it more, and want to counter the enemy carries with it, BUT! Its better is the Supporter got the Exhaust, because you can get a better summoner spells, whats better for Sivirs usage.||ii||ii|
|ii||ii||If you are just started to play with Sivir in normal games, you can take Clarity too if you couldn't use your Spell Shield properly to get some mana, and you are burning down your mana pool with your spells, you can take it.||ii||ii|
I will explain you several item sequences i will start with the main sequence, first with the core items, then the luxury items, and finally i will explain some of the viable item sequences!
The Black Cleaver
Since they take away the attack speed bonus from On The Hunt, we have to buy attack speed from now. Therefor a Phantom Dancer is vital for Sivir.
|ii||ii|| Sivirs main damage dealing process in early game, is her Boomerang Blade. That ability deals ridiculous amount of damage if you don't hit minions when you want to harras an enemy champion. You need 3 things to increase its damage. Firstly you need AD, secondly you need armor penetration, and finally you need Cooldown reduction. The Black Cleaver gives you everything you need. Cooldown reduction is vital because you will need to you Boomerang Blade more than once in a fight to maintain that damage necessity to kill the enemy.
Phantom Danceris a vital item for Sivir. Since they took away the attack speed from her On The Hunt ability, you need something to balance your AD, attack speed ratio. Phantom Dancer is still the best item to do it.
You can chose from three kind of boots, depends on what you want, but from this three, two is recommended.
My alternate item sequence, got attack speed, and a lot of HP. But you won't get the passive bonuses from, Trinity Force.

Of course you don't have to use Phantom Dancer and Frozen Mallet in one build, there is more viable versions for it. Just like this.
Skill Explanation and Sequence
Fleet of Foot(passive): This is a very good, i think its in the best passives at the AD carries. When you hit an enemy champion, you will get a huge ton of movement speed!
- Fleet of Foot If you chasing enemy champions, by hitting them with auto attack, you can get them fast, before the run away!
- You can use Fleet of Foot to escape from the enemy, when you are running away, you can turn back for a second, and hit one of them fast, with one attack, for the bonus movement speed, then you can get away!
Boomerang Blade(Q): This is a very good skill shot, its using a normal AD ratio, but have a quite huge basic damage, and the best, when you use Boomerang Blade comes back dealing damage to enemies passing trough. But warning, be careful! Its dealing -20% damage for every passing trough!
- You can hunt down low HP enemies trough walls.
- You can easily farm by sending trough you Boomerang Blade at a minion wave then using Ricochet to finish them off.
- You can deal a nice amount of damage in team fights, don't forget to use it.
Ricochet(W): This ability is awesome, when you click on it, your next auto attack will deal more damage and it will bounce to four more enemies. It has a low cool down but watch out! It can leach your mana pool fast!
- Combined with Boomerang Blade, you can farm easily.
- Combined with Trinity Force, you will deal a huge damage!
- You can use it in team fights to damage all of the enemy champions!
Spell Shield: This is the best ability of Sivir. Thats why i think she is the best AD carry. She is the best counter against Ezreal, Graves, Blitzcrank etc. You can block almost all of the abilities! Alistar can't do anything against you! Spell Shield is an ability, what with you can block every abilities!
- You can block mainly everything, but what is important to block Blitzcranks Rocket Grab, and Alistars Headbutt.
- You can farm mana! If you need it you can stand into enemy abilities on your own, while using Spell Shield to block them, and acquire mana!
On The Hunt: This is a great ultimate, it gives movement speed for you, and half of the amount for your allies.
- If you, or an ally is in trouble, you can give him movement speed by On The Hunt
- If you use it in team fights, your whole team will get your On The Hunt!
The Way of a Successful Sivir
You will need concentration, skill, reflex, and you have to be a good leader.
This is a very important point to be a good ad carry. You have to last hit, this is the key to own your lane! If you are only last hitting, you minimize the chance that you will miss to last hit a minion.
- You will get, what is the most important is, Money !
- You will get a lane, where you aren't pushing, then you minimize the chance that you will get ganked, and increase the chance that your jungler can gank your lane!
- You can harass the enemy while you are waiting for another last hit.
Well used abilities!
If you are well using your abilities, its a grate bonus to your bill. Use well your Spell Shield, and use your Ricochet in a way when you aren't waste last hits! If you want to use your Boomerang Blade and want to deal the most damage, you should hit only the enemy champion and not sending trough minions your Boomerang Blade
- If you have a good sense for using your Spell Shield, you can block Rocket Grabs, Headbutts, Mystic Shots, and even you can counter enemy ganks, like if Warwick trying to gank, you can use your Spell Shield for block his Infinite Duress!
- If you are low on mana, you can stand into enemies spells, and block them for a bonus +150 mana!
- When you are using abilities well, you can save more mana.
- When you are using your Ricochet and Boomerang Blade properly, you can save last hits, and deal more damage to enemy champions.
Being a good leader!
Being a good leader is a very important piece of my strategy. If you need gank, tell to your jungler! If your support not doing the things good, tell him! If you want wards, for a different area, better tell to your support. And for last, ask your support to buy items for you! Ask your support, to buy zeke's herald! This is a grate item for Sivir!
- If you tell your support, to buy items whats helping you, like zeke's herald, what gives you attack speed, and bonus lifesteal, what i mentioned before, that you need attack speed from your supporters, and not from your build!
- If you ask for gankes, you can give assists for you jungler, and get kills!
- If you ask for more wards, in bushes, or want to counter the enemy wards by a Vision Ward ask your supporter to bring some!
This champion is very awesome for me, i really like her, and if you learn the way how to play with her, you and your team will have a good time;)
