Try to get this champion from the pick phase before the nemy team.Irelia was brought in this meta in the front line and now she is really enjoyable.Don't forget to let your team captain know not to ban her!

I recommend the flash as it can be used really offensively so you get an advantage.For example,when your equilibrium strike is up and the enemy has 200 hp he is 2 hits away.As far as the teleport is concerned,a Pantheon makes it necessary,although on an early Jax or Nasus i would pick ignite.

Irelia is a champion which in my opinion was not made to lose a single minion.Her autoattack is not the highest in the game,altough its speed is satisfying.With her Q and E it is impossible to lose minions,which are very important in the early phase,since you can buy more thing than your opponent and get the advantage!
