Introduction

Hello, this is my Teemo support build. The build starts as a typical support setup, but Teemo then changes into a magical DPS champ. Feel free to comment and suggest changes to the build. I have not yet added all of my explanation sections as of yet, nor do I plan to. This guide is primarily for the use of a friend of mine but I will share it with the community for feedback (and possibly change the meta! ;) ) Thank you.

Final Item

This build shown above will leave you with an open item slot where you can choose what item to put there.

Abyssal Mask against teams with lots of magic damage and/or if your enemies build magic resist. Also supports your team if your team has high magic damage.

Nashor's Tooth against high health enemies (abuse Madred's Bloodrazor's passive) and for faster cooldowns.

Void Staff against very high magic resist teams

Zhonya's Hourglass against AD heavy teams and for bonus damage

Thornmail against very AD heavy teams where their AD damage is very, very high

Black Cleaver for attack speed and to create openings for AD champions on your team

Zeke's Herald Zeke's Herald for extra health and cooldown reduction while buffing your nearby teammates (including yourself) with attack speed and life steal

Banshee's Veil extra health and mana plus passive to counter spell combo dependent mages (i.e. Brand, Annie) or to counter strong initiate/gank abilities (i.e. Resonating Strike)

Rod of Ages Extra ability power, health, and mana. If you are building this, build it early! (It's passive takes time to stack. Build after Heart of Gold)

Guardian Angel extra armor and magic resistance to improve durability; passive brings you back to life to fight again (albeit low health)

While I do not recommend buying wards as a final item on Teemo, I will list wards here because they "can" be used as a final item effectively on some supports to gain map awareness and for the explanation of wards.
Sight Ward Sight Ward grants vision where placed. Your ult can be used to do this and deal damage, but their vision is gone when triggered by an enemy. Ward's don't disappear until their timer expires or they are destroyed by an enemy who buys Vision Wards or Oracle's Exlixer.

Vision Ward grants true vision, otherwise is exactly the same as a regular ward. True vision allows you to see stealth-ed champions and to see and destroy enemy wards.

Role in Lane

Support your carry.

Frequently poke enemy support and carry to make use of Toxic Shot and to try and keep them out of lane. Use Blinding Dart to stop the enemy carry from trading damage effectively, to hinder ganks, and to help damage when going for a kill. Let your carry farm last hits and either be a living ward in either the river bush or the enemy bush, or constantly poke the enemy champions until they are forced to go back to heal and/or get mana.

You and your carry will play a very agressive lane, so wards are a necessity. Feel free to tweak the starting items such as grabbing different quantities of potions or sacrifice potions for more wards. These changes depend on your play-style, player skill, and team/lane coordination.
