Hello GG (Guys and Girls) i am Fantroi and my favorate champion in league of legends is Twisted Fate. I used to play him 7/10 games and he is my most played champion. I mean come on he is the Cards Master why wont you play him :) .

Twisted Fate is a Great AP mid lane champion that can dominate the game if he farms well and he is one of the champions who definitely need skill to be played with. Twisted Fate can be played as Attack Damage or Ability Power.

Pros:

+ His Wild Cards is a long range skill that can be used to poke targets and farm when getting zoned from long range.

+ Pick A Card He have more than 1 CC in a single skill AoE or Single target.

+ Great in Lane because of his Mana Sustain with Blue Card.

+ Can control the map with his ultimate Destiny.

+ Has the rarest skin in the League (Pax TF).

Cons:

- Starts with low base movement speed.

- Needs a lot of farm to be affective.

- Squishy and has a hard time in laning phase.

Flash: is the only escaping way Twisted Fate has so it is mainly recommended to take it incase you got ganked by the enemy team jungler or to escape from 1 vs 5 situations or to use it with ignite to secure a low health kill that is hugging a torret.


Ignite: I used to play Twisted fate with ignite because it gives you enough burst damage to kill an enemy early game only by your spells and with the assist of ignite you can burst their mid lanes or their adc if you are ganking and the enemy adc ran away with low hp.

Teleport: This is an optional Summoner spell to double the control of Twisted Fate over the map with adding his ultimate Destiny. you can gank and go back to you lane in an instant.

Barrier: I would not usually use barrier unless i am playing agist an assassin like zed or fizz who relay on their and and ignite to finish you off normally.

Ghost: This is my 2nd most used summoner on Twisted fate i used to play with ignite but ghost seems to be much better for dodging skill shots and kiting and also for chasing when you get distortion boots your movement speed will be amazingly high with low cd.

Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed: This is the best quint for Twisted Fate it scales well as the game goes on.

Greater Mark of Hybrid Penetration: This Mark rune is to reduce the enemy magic resist and armor resist to allow you to deal more damage early and late game.

Greater Glyph of Ability Power: This is going to give you AP you need to help you farm and harass they enemy midlaner.

Greater Seal of Scaling Health: As Twisted fate early game you have to play passively and farm as much as possible and level up to gank other lanes by your ult so the best runes for him are scaling runes.

This is the common and the most effective build your Wild Cards should be maxed first and thats the most important ability after your Destiny and thats because of the Long range damage and it hits 3 different directions. 2nd is Pick A Card and last is Stacked Deck.

Boots + 4x Health Potions are the standard opening items vs champions that has mostly skill shots like Brand.

Doran's Ring + 2x Health Potion is your second choice if you want to get more AP, HP and mana back after each cs.

Crystalline Flask + Health Potion + sight ward this is for longer sustain in the lane against champs that harass alot in lane .

Twisted Fate is a Mage, Pusher which means that he cant kill a team alone. He can assassinate the ADC of the other team or the APC of the other team but this might be risky so don't be greedy and throw the game. He can burst the enemy ADC from full HP to 0 if played correctly. Twisted Fate should always be with his team after the laning phase because at this time Jungle is the most dangerous thing in the game. Twisted Fate should never check a bush NEVER. Here comes the turn of the Sweet little green things called sight ward This thing should always be with you while in laning phase or after it. Warding Leads to victories. all you have to do is walk with your team stun the closest target and let your team finish him off.

Wild Cards:Throws 3 cards in 3 directions. Wild cards a great ability in pushing and harassing has a great damage cost alot of mana. you must max your Wild cards first.


Pick A Card is a great skill that has many uses:

Blue card: Has the highest Damage and its used to get some mana back (used a lot at the laining phase) great to sustain mana and harass the enemy laner when your E is stacked.

Red card: Has the second highest damage and AoE and a Slow This Card is used in pushing minions and it can be used vs enemy champions but it has a great damage (more than yellow) and preferred to be used vs stacking enemies

Yellow card: Has the lowest damage but stuns the enemy for 2 seconds at it max level best used vs enemy champions.


Stacked Deck: is a passive that gives your 4th attack bonus Magic damage and increase your attack speed by 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30%.

Destiny: The best ulti ever that allows you to see where all your enemies are and enable gate which allows you to teleport 5500 units away (Best used for ganks and KS:kill secures :D).

First thing you need to know about Twisted Fate is that his Pick A Card needs to be mastered to be a good player at him. For that you will have to play either vs bots or normal games to be able to know the sequence and when do you lock you card. after doing that you have to know who is your main target and when do you attack him. In team fights always wait for your tank to be at the front wait for them to engage and when that happens your job is to peel for your adc and stun the closest enemy keep your distance to be safe and spam yellows + Q. Another way to win a team fight is to use your ult to go to the enemy adc and Death fire grasp + Pick A Card + Wild Cards + ( Stacked Deck if you can) and use zhonya asap so your team can follow up.


Priority of killing:
1- ADC (Most priority unless APC is way too fed)
2- APC (If he is so fed)
3- rest of the enemy team

After getting your lichbane get full use of it because every ability you use activates it and remember that your Pick A Card also hits turrets always use blue cards when you are going to destroy it because it has the most damage.

If you are going 1 vs 1 and you used full combo and the enemy lost only 50% don't keep auto attacking even if your E is going to proc kiting is the best option you got to survive the fight.

---

Always try to take blue buff which gives cool down reduction and the mana regen.

---

In situations where the enemy team is stacking so close to each other don't use your stun use your AoE slow because it has more damage than the stun and its for more than one target which will give you and your team an advantage.
