Hi [name],
I won't be putting a lot of effort into this guide, so bear with me.
If you haven't tried out this kind of build on Jax, I recommend trying it out. At least for me it worked the best and yes, I tried AP, Hybrid and all that other stuff aswell.

Ah yeah.. you go BOTLANE with this guide!
Don't be a liquid-confidence-addict and ask for some ganks at the early levels if you are facing your worst nightmare bot. (since you are most vulnerable early-game and a little edge over the enemy with Jax will result in total domination of the enemy champion)

PS: Be careful.. don't get too cocky... If a team loses the botlane frequently they will also lose the game! Be aware of this!

QUINTESSENCES:

Greater Quintessence of Life Steal
The most important thing about this build. Yes, I know, they seem pretty damn useless..
But the 6% boost in addition to all the other lifesteal items/masteries you are about to get will make you stay in the lane forever!

SEALS & GLYPHS

Greater Seal of Defense (or the flat version)
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist (or the flat version)
Some of the best runes out there for dominion IMO. Although on some champions and builds the flat ones make more sense. Whatever. Get these!
Obviously they will allow you to stay in there even longer.

ALTERNATIVE:

Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power

MARKS:

Greater Mark of Desolation

ALTERNATIVE:

Greater Mark of Attack Speed

• Empower first,
• Leap Strike second,
• Counter Strike last,
• Master-At-Arms everytime you can.

Leap Strike benefits from your bonus AD and 60% AP.

Empower only benefits from 60% of your AP. However it resets your auto-attack timer which is more important for Jax.

Exhaust
You need the extra slow. It can save your *** or ensure you a kill.
For example: Throw it on the enemy champ and jump to safety with Leap Strike. Remember! ANY unit can be the target!

Revive
As mentioned above.

Greater Quintessence of Life Steal
Vampirism
Prospector's Blade

If you haven't figured out yet I will point it out: 14% lifesteal right of the f****** bat!
That's what this build is all about.

Lategame (if you purchased all the lifestealin' sh** in this guide) one creep wave will be able to refresh ~50% of your health. It's ridiculous rly..

ATTENTION!

Altough I wrote down a purchase order, it is not necessarily the best way to build Jax!
Depending on the situation, these items may be better suited for you:

Berserker's Greaves

Wit's End

Black Cleaver

Abyssal Mask

Thornmail

Last Whisper

Note: Aside from these items you should always get Trinity Force and Hextech Gunblade first.

All right, here we go [name], this is how we start:
Prospector's Blade
Boots

Optional:
Health Potion
Mana Potion
Some like to take them, some don't. They can make a difference.

After that upgrade your boots into:
Ninja Tabi
I figured these boots work best with this build since there will almost NEVER be a team without heavy hitting AD's (especially those nasty ranged ones) in dominion and you will want to sustain all the ****load of damage they deal and heal back up again, so get these!

I recommend to get Vampiric Scepter now. After that, depending on how the game goes for you so far, to either (if you have the gold) upgrade into Bilgewater Cutlass right away or simultaneously start building your Phage to ensure you are not too squishy while trying to get enough gold for the cutlass, cause it's pretty expensive to obtain early.

Having these items already you will be a great threat bot lane. The extra slows on your Phage and Cutlass additionaly to your Counter Strike and Exhaust will ensure you to catch any running opponent, even ranged ones.
By the way you now have: 29% lifesteal, so try to heal up on creeps EVERY_TIME_YOU_CAN!

The next steps are rather obvious:
Complete your Trinity Force
You can either start with
Zeal or Sheen
It really depends on the situation and enemy champion now.
Need more Move- and Attack- Speed to catch fast champions? Get Zeal

Once this is done complete your Hextech Gunblade.. Hell Yeah!
You're a killing machine now! Abuse it! Heal on every wave and make the enemy champ regret he went botlane!

Now get another Vampiric Scepter and if you farmed enough gold, upgrade into Sanguine Blade.

Don't hate me for this, but: 44-51% Lifesteal! (depending on Sanguine stacks) and 20% Spellvamp... Go and f'in abuse it already!
The enemy is running from you in terror? F*** that man! Don't follow this b****!
Just heal up on the next creep wave and show him who's the boss later. PATIENCE. AAAH!

That's it [name]! From this point the game should be pretty much over already so get whatever you need depending on the situation for your last item slot!

Relentless Assault (Upgrades every 3rd level)

• Level 1: 4-24%
• Level 4: 6-36%
• Level 7: 8-48%
• Level 10: 10-60%
• Level 13: 12-72%
• Level 16: 14-84%

Empower (resets your attack timer, procs Sheen or Trinity Force)

Use this as fast as you can after your first auto-attack to score 2 attacks. Ouch!
or
Use it together with Leap Strike to trigger it's damage automatically.



Counter Strike (remember: reactivation takes 1 second!)

Make use of the full 2 seconds it lasts if your opponent doesn't seem to run away.
or
Activate it before jumping the enemy with Leap Strike and reactivate after to stop their escape. (or let it expire if you are sure that they can't get away from you in time)



Leap Strike (can target any unit)

Sometimes you can forget about this in the heat of a battle, but always look for creeps or champs near you to make an escape. You'll rip out your hair if you realise there was a chance for you but you just did not use it!

ALSO! For all you chasers out there, don't be a spastic and run after your low health opponent, waiting till you are in range for the jump...
It has a freakin' low CD! Use Leap Strike on any unit that helps you get closer to him.



Master-At-Arms (Passive: Extra Damage after !3 attacks!)

Count your attacks in mind or look for the icon.
After exactly 3 attacks you will deal bonus damage. Don't waste this on a creep if the enemy is close to you. Attack creeps 2 times and then combine it with Empower and Leap Strike to score the best/fastest damage you can on the enemy.
A lot of ppl don't think about this or don't care about.. Do it! You will thank me for it!

This can slowly force your opponent out of the lane if you stay calm and PATIENT! AAAH!
Just attack 2 times, throw out the combo, wait for your cooldowns, REPEAT!



If you are facing another Jax, I recommend these Items to start with:

Health Potion 2x
