Rek'Sai - The void Queen.

Hi, and welcome to my Rek'Sai guide. Rek'Sai is a really complex champion, has some cool and new mechanics and can help you a lot with her passive while burrowed. She is a bit squishy though, and does not have too much cc. She can clear the jungle fast and has some decent ganks, so give her a try and you will like her.

I'm really sorry this guide does not have too much editing, this is the first time I make a guide on mobafire, so I hope you like it.

And sorry if you find some grammar errors!

Pros and Cons

Pros: First of all, it's not that complex. In a few matches you will be really used to play her. She is very mobile because of her R and her E while burrowed, that she can use for ganking. She is very good at conterjungling and has some decent ganks and damage. Has decent AOE damage with her Q and can see though walls with her W (Isn't that cool!?) so you can spot a retar- ... unlucky enemy champion walking around and jump on him with a teammate: Easy kill.

Cons: She is squishy. If you don't build at least 2 defensive items on her, you won't be able to do anything late game. Her E has a long cooldown, and her ganks don't have really much CC. If your teammates don't follow you in a fight, you are dead, so you need to have the trust of your teammates so they follow you. Her ultimate is good for positioning but does not have anything too impactfull (Just her passive). And while burrowed, you can not see anything that does not move, unless a ward or someone of your team gives you vision, so if the enemy Cho'Gath is near you but does not move, you won't see him, and the last thing you will hear is "ñom ñom ñom ñom ñom". Also, her tunnels have a fixed travelling distance, so you can sometimes look silly because of that.

Masteries

21 OFFENSE 9 into Defense.

This will give you all the gank power you need early game and some resist so you can farm the new jungle, but all mastery pages have to be adapted to your own way of playing the game, so you can mess around with them if you don't feel comfortable with the results.

Items

I'll explain the normal build items, not all of the other ones, because of a lack of time. If someone is interested, I'll probably edit the whole build and add that.

Let's start with the Hydra: It gives you AOE damage and sustain, both of them usefull on Rek'Sai. Also gives a neat active that can deal a good ammount of damage if used wisely.

Mercury's Treads: This ones are really good on Rek'Sai. Rek'Sai is a champion that needs to stay close to her enemies to deal her AOE damage. If affected with hard CC, she is useless. Use this ones to don't give a f*** about CC and go full ham.

Stalker's Blade: Rek'Sai does not have that much CC, so this slow is very very good for ganking. It won't scale so well late game, but it's so good early game you can probably snowball your game the first 15 minutes. It also has that true damage to kill Teemos with it, so it's kewl.

Trinity Force: It's usefull because of both passives: MS on hit and bonus phisical damage, both good for Rek'Sai.

Blade of the Ruined King: It's Passive grants some good damage against tanky champions and a slow usefull for ganks or chases. It's good if you want some good damage in one single item, that's why it's also included in the Tanky build.

Last Whisper: A really good 3th to 6th item. The armor penetration is really usefull because you will have enough damage already, the only thing you need is break the enemy's armor and deal that damage. Really good against tanks, and better than BOTRK because it does not depend in how much HP the enemy has.

Randuin's Omen: Even though it grants HP and that's bad if the enemy has several BOTRK, it gives a good ammount of armor and a passive against ADCs. Also, it has a slow that's very usefull on Rek'Sai because she does not have an hability with CC that's not her W. A really good item, but as I said, if they have 2 or 3 BOTRK and a lot of AD burst you could consider a Thornmail.

Spirit Visage: This item goes very well with Rek'Sai 's passive, because it incrementes the ammount of HP you will heal. It grants MR but also HP, so be aware of what the enemy team builds.

Ganking

Ganks with Rek'Sai are not complicated. You burrow, enter with your E and throw a Q, then unborrow under the enemy. Active your Q and your smite, while the enemy is slowed, do all the damage you can. If you have to chase your enemy, burrow again and use your E. While burrowed you have extra movement speed to catch your enemy, so that helps a lot when if the enemy survives long enough to try to escape.

If something goes wrong, use your previously built tunnel to leave the area.

Final thoughts

So this is it! It's not that complex but I'll be editing it in the next few days, right now I don't gave much time, so I hope you liked it and give it a try! You will Rekt 'em all with some practice. Thank you for reading and if you found a mistake or something to improve like the lack of editing in this guide, don't forget to give me a comment about it! Thanks! :)
